Bonus Action: Casts Searing Smite Action: Attacks R3 with his warhammer using two hands to swing, Attack: 13Damage: 11 Bludgeoning with and additional 5 Fire damage on hit.
R3nearly dodges from Krom's mighty swing but nearly is not good enough this time. Krom brings the warhammer down to bear, and crushes the giant rat into a mess of tangled fur, skin, and bones, splashing blood and viscera everywhere. You all mentally remind yourselves not to touch Krom's beard...
@garnet - Krom destroying R3 allows Garnet to move unhindered by the possibility of an opportunity attack, and she moves to help Ithelion. She swings her sword at R1 and scores a significant slash - a hit! The rat is still up, however, and looking for revenge...
S1 - the swarm of rats moves into Daemyar and starts biting and gnawing on whatever they can reach: Attack: 16Damage:7 S2 - this swarm of rats moves to terrorize Krom, creating a mountain that nearly reaches Krom's beard but he holds it away from them. Regardless, they attack with teeth at anything they can get ahold of: Attack:9Damage:11 R2- the rat snarls at the dwarf, angered at his aggressive response to meal time: Attack:19Damage:6
Exhausted, Ithelion calls to Shere, "Kill this one for me!" she says.
Almost out of power, she rallies for one last magical effort, once again calling on the plane of dreams. Fearibg it might affect her wounded companions, she contrives to place it further away than she might have other wise.
Held action when Shere has taken his action, cast Sleep (( if this is not a valid trigger, then she just casts and suffers the AOO ))
HP Affected: 26 Put the centre 3 squares west of S1 (AoE is intended to hit everything + Krom, but not Daemyar, I believe; if 3.5 squares it allowed, then I think that would still hit everything and NOT Krom.
Edit: Re-eamining map, I think she hits everything EXCEPT R1....she's soooo noble.
(( I think our messages crossed, so she'll just suffer the AOO unless Garnet can help! ))

S1 - 11 *the rat swarm stops and looks at you, confused and scared, many cocking their head to one side... - it takes the damage!
@ithelion - as you finish your incantation ....R2, and G1, fall to the ground in an induced magical slumber... [OOC - the rat swarms and daemyar would have been affected but there are not enough HP points in your sleep pool to affect them...]
G1is asleep and R3 is a paste on the floor. R1 however, is still up and will attack Garnet - Attack: 15Damage:4
Daemyar disengages from the swarm, fires on the far goblin again and runs for cover through the doorway
Attack: 19 Damage: 5
With disadvantage due to prone....door? you mean you're hopping back over the small wall?
*All the while, the tied up goblins are struggling against their restraints and the stuff in their mouths. DC17 (avg. of the rolls) to wriggle free. 11. - a fail. They continue to struggle and try to spit out their gags.
Seeing the rat that attacked him fall asleep, Krom swings his warhammer at the swarm that is on him.
Action: Smashing S2 with the warhammer, Attack: 14Damage: 2 Bludgeoning (if passed the con save, an additional 1 Fire damage)
@krom - no need to concentrate anymore - the smite is done and the rat is dead (though if rat was alive, it would have to make a constitution save or take fire damage. It's a hit! Krom's warhammer pummels a couple rats and they go limp in the tangled mass...
S1 - the rat swarm continues to gnaw the hobgoblin's exposed parts: Attack: 9Damage: 9 *a miss! S2 - the rat swarm smells blood and continues to bite at the dwarf's leg as the mass climbs up it: Attack:16Damage:7 *a hit! - the teeth of the swarm bite through the chinks in the dwarf's armor and gushes of blood pool at his feet. He sways on his feet a little... R2- sleeping
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Electricity plays over Ithelion's hands as she gestures furiously at the rat next to her, and as she does so, she asks Elosa to distract the rat then move back to safety.
Ithelion then flees to the east (keeping sight of her companions), ordering the Unseen Servant to start laying a line of caltrops across the next room, except in one square).
Edited: a 5' deep line in next room. We jump it, they probably can't...I hope. Not sure it's work, but it's worth a try. It's a last ditch defence kind of thing.
@ithelion - you recall some info you read about monsters of this kind before - swarm of rats they are called. you know that they are have high vitality but that they lose their ferocity the more they take damage. you also know that they cannot be frightened or charmed or paralyzed and a lot of other things. you also know [thanks Ithelion, DM] that they have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage [double thanks! - DM]. you know everything in the link, and know i do toooooooo.....
@ithelion - your grasp hits R1 and it stiffens, falling to the ground...unbelievably, it gets up again, barely conscious or aware...which is also why it can't execute its attack of opportunity on you. It just tries to snarl, but just sounds like wheezing...
Garnet - do you want to keep the last action you did? Or something different?
As she runs, Ithelion says, "If you want to stand and fight, then everyone focus on one. They are tough, hard to hit, and resistant to normal damage. At least...that's what I read...use spells if you can!"
Hearing the call for fire and oil Garnet will answer with fire.
Garnet still has torches in her pack she will take a turn to light one. She will also call out to the tied up goblins " Be still before the rats see you as there next meal!" regardless of their understanding motioning at them to stay still. She will unequip the shield so she can hold her sword and torch in the next turn.
