My players are going to be venturing into the lair of a Fae that used to be the Lord of the Hunt, now corrupted by unnatural magic into a bloodthirsty psychopathic killer whom they have been tasked with freeing any way they can. Lore wise, many adventures have gone in, all have died and I need creative ideas for different states for my players to find the bodies in.

It was the Lord of the Hunt. I would have the lair spotlessly clean, with stuffed heads and Taxidermied people all over the place. Done in dark wood tones and very straight lines. Almost clinically neat and orderly, but labyrinthine.
Aye, like sposta said, just imagine a hunter’s house. Then make it people. Everything is made of person leather, there’s a hall of taxidermied bodies, a wall covered in stuffed heads and other trophies, etc.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Also traps like snares all around. He doesn't want his defenses to straight up kill intruders, just hold them until he can do it himself like a true hunter. Players who get trapped can have maybe a skill challenge or time limit for long they have to escape before he comes to check the snares.
What did the lair look like before he was corrupted? I have trouble imagining the Wild Hunt having a permanent residence at all. Maybe the lair is like a private hunting preserve? Somewhere in the preserve is a camp where they may find the most recently killed adventurers being dressed (by which I mean gutted). Maybe it's like a hunting lodge on the outside, but the inside is an entire vast mountain valley? Maybe one of the intelligent hounds remembers a time before its master was corrupt and wants to help the party save The Lord? I mean, the eeeevil set dressing can be whatever you want, but it has to be a dark reflection of what the entity was.
