I've created a suit of homebrew plate that thanks to its construction removes the stealth disadvantage, but I can't seem to do this in terms of rules. Where it gives me an option for stealth check, setting it to none or leaving that field empty both leave the armour with a stealth disadvantage. I think I can negate this by adding a modifier to give advantage to stealth so the two cancel eachother out, but I'd rather not do it that way if possible. Anyone know how to do what I'm after?
Check if your character is wearing any other armors. If they are, that is what might cause the disadvantage. Otherwise, when I try to create a plate armor that sets the stealth check to none, it works as intended.
I think i figured it out. I had all of my settings correct, but for some reason the item wasn't updating. It wasn't until I went to 'my homebrew creations' page and clicked edit there instead of viewing details page and then clicking edit on that page that it finally recognized my changes.
I had a different problem earlier where I was editing copies of things and adding resistance to lightning that it wasn't recognizing the lightning resistance that I was adding. I'm guessing I'm experiencing some type of bug where the changes aren't being recognized unless I click edit from the 'My homebrew creations' page. Viewing the details page and then clicking edit just doesn't work for me for some reason even though all of my changes are saved when I back to look/edit.
After you add anything to, change anything on, or remove anything from any homebrew, you MUST re-save the entire thing using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information or the system won’t pick up your changes. After that it can sometimes take up to 20 minutes for those changes to push through to the character builder/sheet.

This, unfortunately. When I am in a quick test-fix-test state of mind, I make a entirely new item with a incrementing number at the end, as that's faster than waiting for DDB's system to update. So I make "NewPlate1" and tweak that to be "NewPlate2" and so on. Once I get everything how I like it, I delete the old versions & rename the final one to "Plate of Awesomeness". Which is, all said & done, probably more work for DBB than just having a more efficient update cycle.

Did you ever figure this out? I haven't been able to remove the stealth disadvantage or the strength requirement even after waiting a while.
Make a copy of Mithral Plate, and see how they do it. There is a option in the main area, as well as changing it in Modifiers.

I have been saving changes. And have waited over a day without the changes applying to the character sheet.
