So as Steel Defenders are not yet able to update their statistics based on their Battle Smith Artificer's statistics, I figured I'd take a stab at it using the snippet codes.
Unfortunately as with most enterprises involving coding, there's plenty of trial and error. Currently this is what I have:
Most of the [rollable] sections for Force-Empowered Rend and Repair are the original pieces of code; I only added {{spellattack}} and {{proficiency}} to places where there used to be a fixed value for them instead. Using this homebrew monster as an Extra on the character sheet it shows this:
Clearly I am doing something wrong or am missing some vital info on this.

Snippet codes don’t work on monsters because they don’t have snippet fields. If it were possible, DDB would have done it already. There is no way to have a Monster pull PB from a PC.
