Building a race and I want to have a number of usage equal to level (iE: Hit die). It’s a blood elf race ability. gain 1d4 bonus per hit die spent. The easiest way to track that would would be a blood pool based on level I think.
So what I can find and see is adding a number of usage equal to level is that 20 separate action events on the racial builder. Not sure if that is the best way to complete that task.
What do I key into a spell to summon a monster that is from Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse (which I have purchased) and not the legacy one from Volo's (which I have not)? I want to create a spell that summons Shadow Mastiffs, and it has a "lock" icon with a note that reads it's part of Volo's and I need to purchase it.

Hello, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask (it seems like new threads aren't created much here, just adding onto this one?)
Trying to create a homebrew feat that grants a couple cantrips and a spell of the user's choice, out of a preset selection. I want the user to also be able to pick which ability score from Int, Wis and Cha the spells use, but I can't figure out how to make that an option - I can only see a spot where I as the creator can assign one ability score which the feat has to use. Is there a way to do this without just splitting it into three separate feats for each ability?
I've reviewed #6 under general/troubleshooting and it's still not working. I have made several subclasses, and the class features show up on the character builder but when you do the drop down, it's blank. On the character sheet, it shows up. I made the edits yesterday afternoon, and checking it just now, it's still blank in the character sheet and I've tried to close browser completely and reopen.
Just curious because I'm trying to optest before publishing it, thank you for your time.

Hi there,
I’m sorry to read that you’re having trouble, I’ll do everything I can to help. I’m not entirely sure that I’ve understood you correctly, so I have to ask you a few questions as I try to explain stuff.
You wrote that the class features show up in the builder, but not on the character sheet itself. Is that correct? What displays in the builder (and on the subclass’ Details page) is whatever you enter into the “Description” fields. What displays on the character sheet itself is whatever you enter into the “Snippet” field. In the broadest sense, Snippets are basically abridged versions of the descriptions to save space, and they can include snippet codes* that can automatically calculate data to help streamline things for the players. Have you entered snippets for your subclasses?
You wrote “but when you do the drop down, it's blank.” What dropdown were you referring to? Did you mean the dropdown to select the subclass, or a dropdown for Options you’ve added to your subclass feature?
Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.

No, you don’t need 20 Actions, you would just add 20 limited uses to the 1 Action.
More accurately you would add 1 limited use at 1st level, 2 at 2nd level, 3 at 3rd level, etc.

No, unfortunately you’ll have to make it as 3 separate feats.

Thank you for your time:
Subclass builder has all the text, something in both snippet and description.
Character builder has no text on drop down
Character sheet has it listed on snippet, but nothing for description.
Yes I've filled snippet and description, seperately, and each subclass has them filled out.
Did you remember to re-save the whole subclass after you added that stuff?

Hmm…. Interesting. Can you post screenshots of how you set it up and what you’re seeing on the page and in the builder?
