There’s really no way to access base class features. You can absolutely do it with plain text, but you wouldn’t be able to interact with the actual Eldritch Invocations feature. Theoretically you could replace the Eldritch Invocations feature by recreating it from scratch as part of the subclass and alter the number of invocations that they get, but that would be a major pain in the 455.
I have a feat which gives proficiency in Alchemist's Supplies, Herbalism Kit, or Poisoner's Kit. Is there a way to set OR options in a feat like there is for a background, or is this a situation where I hope the player remembers to choose one of those options from the general Tools list (or Tools in the PHB)?

Yeah, this is one of those situations. Your other option is to make it as 3 separate feats that each gives proficiency in one of those tools. It’s because feat Options can only do Actions and not anything else.
Sorry a quick question - I tried to make a race, where a feature is replaced with another one on a later level.
F.e. 1st nothing, 3rd level comes the replacement for movement.
So I did it this way: Do the first trait. Did the second trait, as a replacement trait with required level and what trait to replace. Sadly it doesn´t show different in the snippets of the character.
No need to apologize, that’s what this thread is for. The system isn’t really designed to do stuff like you’re suggesting, just be aware of that.
Replacement traits don’t work like that. Replacement traits are for customizing one’s origin like in Tasha’s Cauldron. You will have to make a second Granted trait at 3rd level to add an additional speed bonus instead of replacing the original speed/speed bonus. However the system might apply the bonus right away, even though the trait isn’t supposed to kick in until 3rd level.
It might be possible to do it another way however, but it’s untested and might not work at all. If you decide to test this method please report back with its efficacy. if you make a second Granted trait with the exact same name as the first trait it might (maybe) automatically replace the original trait of that same name. If you check the “Hide on Details Page” and “Hide in Builder” boxes then that second trait will be invisible everywhere except the character sheet itself. However, it might just apply whatever bonuses the Modifier provides right from the 1st level, it might just put two traits on your character sheet with the same name at 3rd level, or it might do both. ’m not 100% sure, like I said, this is untested.

Sadly this doesnt work - tested it quickly. Was worth a try - I really hoped the replacement thing would just override something granted on a lower level with an "upgrade".
Yeah, no. Replacement traits replace base traits right from the getgo, but only if you activate origin customization and actively select those traits.
I mean, theoretically you could make it as a Replacement trait and just not select it until 3rd level. That would work, but the only person who would know how it’s sposta work would be you and it would be confusing for everyone else.
Thanks for reporting back. What did happen by the way?

Nothing much happened. Like you thought, the trait was available from the get got, even though a level was set, that was a minimum.
And that was what I tried btw. maybe it was not clear.
I also tested it with the origin manager and the replacement there. But also - it was replaced from the start.
Hello, I have 1 subclass that is giving the "this homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass." but I have checked #3 in the FAQ section to double check the spells list/srd and confirmed each spell is under the public posting, and confirmed that there were no spells tagged in the additional spell list, and it's coded the same as the other 3 subclasses I have that are saying there are good to be published. I feel that I've reviewed everything before asking.
I cannot see your subclass to examine it, but that’s okay. If what you say is true then try re-saving the whole subclass. If it still kicks back that error message then at least one of the spells attached to it must be either licensed content or private homebrew.
Thanks for your time, here is the spell list, and I've checked “Free Content Spells.” under the FAQ's section a few times over, should I submit this as a bug to the support team?
Those may be the spells you have listed in the feature table, but are they the same spells that are actually attached to the subclass? Those spells listed in the table are just for display purposes, but that won’t actually add those spells to the subclass, those get added elsewhere. What kind of subclass is it? I mean what class is it for? Druid? The spells actually attached to that subclass are the ones listed in the “Additional Specific Spells” field under Basic Information for the whole subclass.
I strongly urge you to thoroughly playtest and edit your subclass prior to publishing it.
It's for a druid subclass "circle seasons", this one is for spring. This list is as it is tagged under the circle of spells, with no spells tagged under basic information.
Wait, what? In order to actually attach those spells to that subclass you have to enter them in the “Additional Specific Spells” field under Basic Information, if you don’t they won’t actually be attached to that subclass properly.
There must be spells in that field that are not free content spells. Either that or there are non free content spells attached to a subclass feature somewhere.
Has anyone messed with the updated prerequisite field? I saw they added classes/subclasses to it, and I’m trying to work out when it applies an “and” or an “or” to the list.
