So, I was thinking about making a new race for a campaign that I might run with two-three groups. Basically, the gist is, one group is made up of angels and the other is made up of demonic beings. I was going to try to remake the aasimar's healing hands feature, so I did. At least, I tried. I created a feature, added an action, added level overrides for proficiency bonus. I have two problems--it won't roll, it won't appear in actions, and when I click on it it shows the correct number of dice, but then the word "damage". Help!
You have to designate an “activation type” (action, bonus action, etc.) and “display as attack” for the action to get it to show up as a rollable action on the character sheet. There is no way to change it from “damage” to something else.

I made it an "action" for activation type.
Also, new question: How do you make an ability score improvement?

I updated my first post to add something I forgot about the first time, so check it out again.
Please see the Homebrew Subclasses & Species FAQ #11: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq). If you want fixed ASIs, you can designate specific ability scores instead of using the “choose” options.
