I think that makes sense. I'll start up the new thread in a week and bump up the submission period.
Whatcha working on, Sposta? And everybody else, too.
I'm also cooking up some new brews. I've wanted to write a supplement for gnome characters for a year or so now, but I'm waiting to see how One D&D goes before I work on it in earnest. Funny enough, the most consequential bit of the UA released yesterday for me was the change to the heavy property to be tied to ability scores.
Just finished working out the initial form of the mechanics for a homebrew race. They're like genasi if you replaced the elemental influence with that of the Ethereal Plane, so their main thing is they can partially phase into the Border Ethereal.
Overall, I'm slowly making progress on creating and fleshing out my homebrew world.

Paladin main who spends most of his D&D time worldbuilding or DMing, not Paladin-ing.
I’m currently developing a couple races and a bunch of spells for publication. One is an elemental species of crystal people, and the other is a species of spider people. The spells will be in 2 collections, one of which is a bunch of “improved” spells that are more powerful than their standard versions. How about you?
My gnome supplement includes a bunch of appropriate magic items and vehicles. I actually had some fun and asked Chat-GPT to give me ideas for a gnomish superweapon. The results weren't spectacular, but they gave me some hunches. I've also cooked up a modern version of a work-out table, which is a directed graph that helps a DM decide what wacky effect happens when a player tries to work out what a gnomish device does. There's also plenty of room for new illusion spells that a gnome would use. In a separate thread, I outlined my idea for a gnome paladin subclass that I'm putting some thought into. Also, I'm cooking up a monster from the depths that would threaten a rock gnome community.

Neat, reminds me of the dharculus from older editions, which hunts from the ethereal by sticking parts of itself through into the material.
Some people here already know this but if you guys would like a constant thread (so you don’t need to change threads whenever the competition gains a new iteration) devoted to general homebrew creation, feedback, and improvement, I would recommend the Magnificient Guild of Homebrew.
I am working on some storm-themed subclasses (Path of the Raging Storm barbarian, storm sorc rework) and on some monsters like a proper Eldritch Lich and a new statblock for Baphomet.

Oh, I love spider people, I have my own race of spider people called the Lolthkin, I'd link it, but I didn't publish it. If someone's interested I'll pm them the thing.

I would, but I don’t want it to influence what I’m working on. Once I publish mine we can swap? Deal?
FYI all, I'm (Juyo) going to be changing my username here, so don't be alarmed if some random stranger starts the new thread. It's still me.
😲Nooooooo!!!!
Please don’t be offended if I forget who you are for a little while until I get used to the change. And for the love of all you hold holy, please don’t change your avatar for a while or I’ll never remember who you are. (I struggle with names, and yours was rather recognizable.)

Lol, the new name with the same avatar just doesn't look right (for now) - but I agree.

This is cool. I like the reliance on sunlight, and especially their mode of communication. They probably have sweet rave parties.
“Have” sweet rave parties, they are sweet rave parties. 🤣😂🤣
Thanks, I’m glad you like it.

Come participate in the Competition of the Finest Brews, Edition XXIX?
My homebrew stuff:
Spells, Monsters, Magic Items, Feats, Subclasses.
I am an Archfey, but nobody seems to notice.

Sweet name.. ;)
Haha, thanks. I'm sorry to say that I may change it again and test out a few.
This decision isn't entirely a vanity move. I'm trying to dissociate with my old username, which was once linked to personal information.
Ahh, that makes sense.
