I created some Homebrew spells (a few have been accepted and published to the community)
One such spell, "Singularity" seems to be coded properly, but the damage displays incorrectly on a character sheet. It is supposed to be 6d4 at level 1 and an additional 2d4 per spell level; but it ALWAYS displays as 2d4 damage. I have verified the formatting compared to an existing official spell (such as shatter) and all values seem correct.

I have the same problem! I did add "at higher levels value", but I did that with other spells too and they're not having the problem. That spell, and one other have the damages listed in blue text instead of black, but the other spell has two different damage types. I don’t know if that info helps at all.
I know this post is old, but someone else had asked literally the exact question I needed to ask so I figured I wouldn’t re-invent the wheel. Please help!
I had this issue before then just made a copy of Fireball and edited that instead as the spell dealt fire damage. That seemed to work even though I couldn't see any obvious difference between my original version and the tweaked Fireball one.

What is the spell? Could you provide a description of it?

Anyone know where I can go to get this resolved?
Did you add an At Higher Levels value?

Please take a look at my homebrewed Spells, Magic Items, and Subclasses. Any feedback appreciated.
