This may be a weird question, but I looked online and couldn’t find the info so here it goes:
I was making a Fog CloudScroll, I looked at the Tags for the spell so I could put them on the scroll and I noticed that the spell has the “environment” tag, but that’s not a viable option for me to add to anything. That’s not actually the question. During my fruitless search for the elusive Tag in question, I found two that I don’t understand: “tag” and “tags.” Does anyone know what those are for?
I looked around, but couldn't find the answer. Is it possible to make a Custom Magic Heavy type Armor (Plate in my example) that allows for a Dex Modifier in the Custom Creation Tool? I've tried to do it, but can't get it to work.
Hoping to finally add my own homebrew for Dragonmarks - would like the spell to be autoprepared and not consume spell slot but not finding the modifier sections shown by Storm Knight anywhere in the spell editor. Maybe I'm missing something? Also, any word on when those will be modeled correctly?
Does anyone know if there is syntax to set a die roll for the condition duration when setting the condition effect from a spell? Something like lasts 1d6 rounds, they don't make it very clear on how to set it to anything other than a fixed number, and I wasn't seeing an easy way to search through the twenty pages here.
I've tried to create a shield with a melee weapon attack. I've tried multiple things, but currently have it as Modifier type - Melee Weapon Attack, Modifier Subtype - Bludgeoning, Ability Score - Strength, Dice Count - 1, Die Type -d4, Additional Bonus Types - Proficiency Bonus.
However, when I equip and attune it to a character, the attack will not show up. Anyone don't know how to fix this.

Why don't you create a weapon with those attack characteristics, call it a shield in the title and add +2 to armor class as if it were a shield? That would be much easier than trying to give attack stats to a shield.
Is there a compiled list of all the calculation codes(Not sure what the proper name is so I'm having trouble finding them by search)? For example. {{savedc:con}}

Which editor? Races, monsters, items, subclasses? Can you share a screenshot?
All of the editors. Right above the field that says “Description” there is a field that says “Snippet” they work in all of those fields. The link I posted above will explain it all to you.

Thank you for any assistance a head of time.
Havent' tried, but I'm about to. I think you start at Basic information. Base Armor: drop down plate. Dex bonus: you only have a few choices here so I think you'll want to go with full, but your choices are full, max 2, and none. If you want it to me more than two but not max I believe you can go to the modifier section. Bonus - AC Max Dex Modifier primary stat dex fixed value: set to what you want max dex bonus for AC to be. ??
I"m here trying to get a long bow to use str instead of dex mod. ??
*edit* well I feel like I quoted the message I was trying to answer. Let me try that again...

“Modifier—>Weapon Property” “Modifier Subtype—>Finesse” will make a Longbow that a character could use either Dex or Str, whichever is higher.

Modifiers cannot add actions.
Use the Actions section to add actions.

I don't see an Actions section in the editor. Where is it? Am I blind?

they are called “snippets.”

I'm working on a monk subclass that offers a strength+wisdom unarmoured defense instead of dex+wisdom. How do I code this in for the feature?
The same way as above, only list Str. Then just apply the same modifier that they use for heavy armor to negate the Dex bonus.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't really understand how to get there from the earlier posts. Can you explain please?

I have bonus unarmoured class modifiers for Strength and Wisdom, and I set AC Max DEX unarmoured bonus bonus to 0. Does that sound about right?
