Trying to create a Paragon style subclass for my ranger for after level 20, Ive made the first level of it but cannot figure out how to apply the subclass to my ranger. Has anyone else done this and if so, how? thanks

This is not currently possible in DDB’s homebrew system. You (or they) can simply add a +1 to the Attack Modifier directly on the character sheet using the “customize” option at the top of the slideout the you get whenever you tap/click on the weapon. No mental maths required.
Hello! I created a patron for warlock by replicating an AU edition, specifically the Raven Queen as a patron. Everything was fine and beautiful, it was even well visualized and apparently well received by the community after I published it. However, I made a mistake in adding the spells from the expanded list that not only does not open the option to learn the spells from the expanded list but seeks a different list (the original from which I used the template). Another user alerted me to the problem today and I am unable to correct because several other members are already using the subclass. I created a new version, however, I will not be able to make it public due to the similarities and also the fact that others are using it already. I could put a note in the posts of the original (version 1.0) informing about the correction in the new version (1.1) but that would only be relevant if I manage to publish this new version. Is there any way to resolve this issue? If so, how?
P.S .: For my campaign it is simple. I just need to ask the player to change and update his record since the option will be available to him in my campaign. However, I think it would be interesting for the others who already use this subclass to visualize the correction to determine which one is in line with their interests. P.S.2: Sorry for any mispelling. English is not my mother language and I´m a bit rusty.

If the subclass is published you don’t have to worry. “Create new Version” and make your adjustments. Make sure the new version is correct and accurate. Remove the old version from your collection, then publish the new version. Any similarities will not matter.
Anyone who is using the old version gets to keep it, only users who find it after republishing will get the new version. You can simply have your players (who are using the old one) make a copy of their existing characters (so they can reference the original) and change over to the new version.
I've set one of my magic items to have a single charge, which resets on a long rest. However, I'd like this charge to show up in the "limited use" section of the character sheet, or have a checkbox somewhere on the character sheet for it, without having to select the magical item itself to check the box. Is this possible? Can I somehow edit the magic item so that it has a charge checkbox show up on the character's actions list?

Thats the problem, it does not allow me to publish the new version.
I get:
This Subclass cannot be shared with the community for the following reasons:
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
I tested the new one and is correct now so its ready to be published. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Ah. That’s not a similarity problem. One or more of the spells you attached is either an unpublished homebrew spell that must be published first, or it’s a spell that is not included in either the Basic Rules (not every PHB spell is included in the basic rules) or the Elemental Evil Player’s Companion. If you either publish those homebrew spells, or swap out the disallowed spells for other ones it will be publishable.

Ah, that explais A lot! Checked here and yep, Feign Death is the one causing trouble. I will do my changes and try again tomorow. I didnt know that specific limitation about the spell list. Good to know since I will dabble in more HB subclasses in the future. Many thanks for the help! I learned good deal of things from this experience!

Hello all, I hope someone can help me with this. I'm creating some homebrew items for people in my group that our DM has given us. I have done this and it all works as it should, but I wanted to show some of the items special features in the notes section of the character to help the player remember their items does certain things. Like for our Paladin his armor is immune to non magical piercing damage, but he keeps forgetting that.
I can put it in the notes section from their page under customize section, but I hope their is a way to do this in the creation phase so they don't have to do that.
Hello. I am currently trying to create a magic item that can cast the four spells Cure wounds, Glyph of Warding, Aura of Life, and Sanctuary. I am able to add all of the spells except for Aura of Life, in fact, I can't add any "Aura of" spell to the item. Does anyone know why that might be, and is there any way of fixing it so that I an add the spell?

I couldn't tell you why it won't let you. I created a homebrew magic item, labeled it as an Artifact, gave it dummy description and name, created it.
After going back into it, I went to the spells part, clicked add a spell, typed "Aura" and the spell came right up. I was able to add the other three as well.

Dang, that's really frustrating... I've made three different versions of this item and it still hasn't worked. I've even tried making a dummy item. I have no idea why nothing seems to be working. :/

How do you add a set amount of damage to a weapon that procs on Critical hits (I've seen it done on other items while playing in a campaign on Discord) I however cannot seem to locate it.

This is not currently possible in DDB’s homebrew system. The homebrew system is essentially a slightly simplified and “prettied up” version of the tools the developers use to enter official spells, items, etc. Since there are no official magic items that do this, the tools weren’t built to allow it. Thanks for thdd clarification, I guess I'll just have to trust my player who gets this item to do some mental maths.
You (or they) can simply add a +1 to the Attack Modifier directly on the character sheet using the “customize” option at the top of the slideout the you get whenever you tap/click on the weapon. No mental maths required.

Did you purchase the PHB or at least those spells from it? Cure Wounds, Glyph of Warding, and Sanctuary are all part of the free content published by WotC under the Basic Rules & SRD. Aura of Life, Aura of Purity, and Aura of Vitality are all in the PHB, but none of them were ever published for free. If you haven’t purchased the PHB from this website, or at least those spells, you will not be able to attach them to homebrew.
