I hope I am in the right place. Why can't I find my homebrew items when I search for them in inventory?

Hi! I know this is a very old thread, but I was curious if there are plans in the homebrew builder for a variable that can be used for spell charges that equals the characters current proficiency. For example, I would like to be able to create a race that gets access to spells limited to charges equal to their proficiency bonus per long rest.
I can do this currently by adding in multiple spells that are gained for each proficiency bonus that is received at the level the proficiency would increase. But, it would be great to have a variable that is accessible to inject into that field. Are there any plans to implement this?
I've created a homebrew weapon, using a +1 longbow as a template. I added charges to it that allow me to use a certain effect that reset on a long rest. However, when I long rest the charges don't reset and there is no way that I am able to uncheck the charges already used the previous day.
That's the thing, it isn't allowing me to manually uncheck them, and they don't automatically reset after a long rest like I set up in the creation of the weapon.
Not a read only copy, as other limited-use things allow me to check and uncheck them. I'll try to change the reset condition and see if that works. Maybe to each dawn?
I set it to recharge at dawn, then I went into the item in my inventory, not from my actions (since it is a weapon) and was able to change how many charges were used there. After that it started working in my actions and my inventory. Thank you for the help!
How do you add a magic item/weapon to a homebrew monster?
You can't. It will just be text in the actions and features boxes. There's code you can use to make it clickable for rolling in the encounter tracker, but it's otherwise just text you type in a box.

Does anyone know if there are plans to allow us to restrict homebrew to particular sources? Such as "players in my X campaign can only use homebrew that I have created"?
I'm creating a subclass for sorcerers and am trying to give three to four mount options, but when I go to test it in character maker, none of the options come up. It says, "Choose a level 3 option" instead. I've tried having it be an additional feature rather than granted and vise versa, too. Any ideas?

yes that makes sense if you don't activate it then you don't see it.

Can anyone please help me with subclass?

You just uncheck them manually by clicking/tapping on them.

they never reset on a rest because rests aren't even supposed to be available options for charge resets.
Are you perhaps viewing a read-only copy of the sheet?

I've tried searching and I can't find the answer.

Is there any way to include a spell list as a separate document linked to a homebrew subclass? Or would you just have to copy paste every spell in?
You would have to add each spell in, there is no way to upload anything to DDB.

You want it to be a “granted” feature, but you don’t want the Options to be “granted.” I gave a full walkthrough on how to properly set up Options in the Subclasses & Species FAQ #1: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq). If you need more help, post in that thread and I’ll help in any way I can.
