Is there a way to set a homebrew magic item to appear on the Artificer Replication list? The game I am in will have a bunch of homebrew items for me to replicate but I prefer using the D&D Beyond character sheets to make things easily.
I know this thread is from 2017, but I would really like the option to add homebrew magic items to the options of artificer "replicate magic items". Perhaps having it as an option on the homebrewed magic item so we can choose which ones show up. Rather than just all the magic items we homebrew being available.
As a game master that runs campaigns with my player's classes and backstories as an integral part of the story, I want to be able to give my player the ability to make an "Elder Evil Jar" as an artificer for transporting their quarry. The way it is set up now only allows my players to pretend their bag of holding option is my cool "Mike's Dragon Scale Container". It makes their character sheet look messy with notations in random places to remind them of their abilities.
Plus how am I supposed to share my player's character sheets with other DM's for feedback when I have to explain half a dime worth of magic items aren't what they say they are.
The only feature I feel is truly necessary for this is the ability to write in an option for the name of your replicated magic item, though text input seems to be very rare or nonexistent in the class section of character creation. It probably isn't necessary to be able to upload full magic items to the infusion option, as you would still need to manually add the item in your equipment anyways, but it would be good to be able to have a complete character sheet without the need to select an infusion that you're just going to pretend isn't there. Adding an option to type your own item name for an infusion would be very easy and would essentially resolve this issue.

There is no way to alter base class features such as infusions at this tim.

Bumping this for visibility. Any chance of this being added in the future?

Commenting in hope to bump this again.

Bump!
Just another one hoping for this feature, waiting patiently in line. 🤞
