I just finished the survey. I'll reiterate and expand on some of the points a made, mostly concerning the Vehiculist. I like the theme of it, but it has some problems. First it regarding vehicles in general- almost all of the features require you to have your vehicle, but you probably can't bring it indoors or into dungeons. It would be useless in most underdark campaigns. I'm not sure how to fix this without ruing the subclass though. Second, the vehicles are a bit generic. While they don't have any flavor attached to them (the swift vehicle could be sports car type, a cycle, or other fast vehicle) they also don't feel very interesting. I would implement a design your own vehicle system- letting you choose a basic chassis, and adding weapons, armor and various utilities. You know I love customization, and building your own ride sounds really cool. For example, this crab-tank vehicle from Warhammer 40k popped into my mind while reading the subclass.
(My picture wont work but here is a link to some images [link leads to Google Images, is safe])
For a customization system, I would do something like this:
Basic Chassis: Tank (Heavy armor, holds many people), Siege (Carries heavier weapons), and Scout (Light and fast) Main Weapon: Cannon, Mortar, Ballista, Wrecking ball or other melee, and a lightning launcher or other more sci-fi weapon Secondary weapon: Repeating crossbow, acid thrower, scythe blades Maybe some sort of special movement system that you unlock at fourteen: Drill, ornithopter wings, floats, climbing legs And some special additions: Smoke Screen, mine layer, camouflage, spyglass
You would add special stuff and various upgrades by spending gold and infusion slots to balance out the extra power.
This is just I brainstorm I thought would be cool.

First, yes, the vehicles will be less useful in small spaces than they are outside. This is true for Rune Knights, Cavaliers, and anyone else that deals with large objects or creatures. Large is not big. Large is a 10 foot cube. Most dungeons can fit Large creatures/objects inside, so the vehicles will in most cases be useful indoors. Also, if they need to get the vehicle through a small door or hallway, artificers have access to enlarge/reduce.
Second, it would not be useless in Underdark campaigns. I may need to add a mechanical version of this, but the Underdark's rough ground would function like difficult terrain.
For a customization system, I would do something like this:
Basic Chassis: Tank (Heavy armor, holds many people), Siege (Carries heavier weapons), and Scout (Light and fast)
Scout! Yes! That is much better than "Swift". I'm not sure about "Tank", but something like that should work.
It's embarrassing, but my first version of the names for these different designs were "Speedy", "Shielding", and "Sieging".
Main Weapon: Cannon, Mortar, Ballista, Wrecking ball or other melee, and a lightning launcher or other more sci-fi weapon Secondary weapon: Repeating crossbow, acid thrower, scythe blades
Cool ideas! I would like to limit some of these to the vehicle type, though. Cannon, Mortar, Battering Ram, and Wrecking Ball and so on. There could also be non-vehicle type specific weapon.
Maybe some sort of special movement system that you unlock at fourteen: Drill, ornithopter wings, floats, climbing legs
You mean 15th? I don't know about keeping it restricted like that, I personally like the current version, but I could be persuaded.
And some special additions: Smoke Screen, mine layer, camouflage, spyglass
That could be an infusion or magic item, IMO. I do like the ideas, though.
This is just I brainstorm I thought would be cool.
It is cool. Thanks again for your thoughts and recommendations!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Okay, this post is an update on when the next form should be coming. I am currently in the process of choosing what it will be in the next form, which is either 4 subclasses or my homebrew Class Feature Variants. If you want subclasses, in your post specify that you want subclasses and which ones you want from the below list so here's the list:
Artificer - Rune Smith or Pictomancer
Barbarian - Path of the Dragonrager
Druid - Circle of the Elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water)
Monk - Way of Phasing
Rogue - Night Terror
Sorcerer - Feyblood (revised combination of my Seelieborn and Unseelie Blood Sorcerers)
Warlock - The Cold One or The Fallen
Alternatively, you could choose subclasses from earlier posts in this thread that you want revised.
The other option is my homebrew Class Feature Variants, which contains the following options for the following classes (I'm just giving the names of the features and what they replace/add to for now):
Artificer - Magic of Artifice (replaces Magical Tinkering), Spell-Absorbing Module (replaces Spell-Storing Item), Infusions (adds to the current options of infusions), Armorer Variants (replaces/adds to the Armorer Artificer).
Bard - Vocal Casting (adds to Spellcasting), Song of Heroes (replaces Song of Rest), Encouraging Song (replaces of Countercharm)
Monk - Improviser (replaces all monk features and benefits related to unarmed strikes), Emboldened Body (replaces Empty Body)
Ranger - Hunter's Mark (replaces Favored Enemy and Hunter's Mark), Beast Master Magic (gives Beast Masters a subclass spell list), Hunter Magic (gives Hunters a subclass spell list)
Sorcerer - Innate Magic (replaces Spellcasting, giving Spell Points and Constitution for their spellcasting ability), Font of Sorcery (replaces Font of Magic, changing sorcery points a bit), Metamagic Options (adds more metamagic options, like Expanded Spell, Channeled Spell, Harming Spell, Focused Spell, and Upgraded Spell), Meld Magic (changes Metamagic, granting more metamagic known), Sorcerous Revelation (replaces Sorcerous Restoration).
Wizard - Spellbook Focus (adds to Spellcasting, lets you use a spellbook as an arcane focus)
Okay, let me know what you want to see in the next form and I'll hopefully get it up before Christmas. Thanks for helping out so far!
Also, I am starting a Play by Post on this site to playtest my homebrew subclasses and races, which will take place in my homebrew world, Tor-eal. If you're interested in being a player in this campaign, let me know ASAP.

Just finished the survey
my suggestion for the vehicle/creature problem is to just make the vehicle a construct. Spells like blight won't work on it.
Thanks for the feedback!

Quick question, are the pact boons for the Dracon Warlock adding to what the pact already gives or replacing the pact boons normally given?
"Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup."
Characters for Tenebris Sine Fine
RoughCoronet's Greater Wills
They add to it.
All of the official subclasses will also be given pact boon enhancements in Levistus's Codex of Curiosities.

Ditto, save I would prefer the Night Terror to Dragonrager.

My Improved Lineage System
For subclasses I would like Rune Smith, Night Terror, Way of Phasing and Feyblood.
When players get creative.
My pick is subclasses: Rune Smith artificer, Dragonrager barbarian, Feyblood sorcerer, and Cold One warlock
My pick is... Can we have a scrap of both? I’d go three subclasses and one class feature variant-
Frozen Heart Sorcerer
Rogue Night Terror
Druid Circle of Elements
Bard: Vocalized Casting
Frequent Eladrin || They/Them, but accept all pronouns
Luz Noceda would like to remind you that you're worth loving!
