What you should know about the Adventure before you apply
This Adventure will introduce you to Haven, outside the walls of the settlement. It’ll also introduce you to a few of Haven’s citizens, who are just as permanent here as your PCs so you will likely be meeting them again and again. It’s a chance to look around and get acquainted with this new world.
If you don't have a Character Profile set up you can go here to see if this is something you might be interested in and to get set up.
What you should know about the DM before you apply
I’m not going to try anything fancy, For me it’s an opportunity to see if this contraption will run for a month without the wheels coming off, find more bugs and other things I’ve missed and come up with new improvements. That doesn’t mean it’s not going to be fun. I hope all of you will give feedback at the end to let me know how it’s working so far.
If there’s anything you want to know, just ask in the comments. Here we go!

interested: Cerlinde, wizard. Not sure i did everything right. still learning pbp, but longtime player and DM
(edit) high elf wizard
Looks fun, I'm game to beta test with y'all. I've been playing since AD&D and an flexible with basically all aspects of party make-up and group storytelling in general
This seems like an interesting starter adventure. I might send Nilvén Zhou to the Patrol, she's an air genasi/monk but not a typical one.
InkedBee (Undead_Analyst)
Covetous, Dragonish Thoughts - Jenviel Tsumara: Fallen Aasimar- Monk|Crimson Sands of Time - Navarra Iltazyara: Human- Druid/Warlock| Bleak Prospect - Ermasnietsz: Reborn- Clockwork Soul Sorcerer
Interested. I'd send Brin on this one if that is going to work out. Hill Dwarf Clockwork soul sorcerer.
Half-Elf Rogue Alukilia will join
I exist sometimes, especially when I'm DMing Curse of Strahd.
I made a character.
Conscience, the Lawful Good, Owlfolk, Death Cleric will join (if you'll have me)
How does the 'in between' adventures work?
This looks like fun, I'm interested in mechanics though. Should I just dive in and learn as I go?
The 'in between' adventures is just Downtime. Over the next month I'm going to flesh out some of the locations (they'll still just be Posts, nothing fancy) and will include a description of the place, NPCs you normally find there and a downtime form. The Copper Dragon Tavern for instance will have Modest (1gp/day) and Comfortable (2gp/day) accommodations available. There will be a menu of meal and drink items available. There will be options for Carousing, Gambling, etc. You mark down what you're putting your downtime and gold towards and Submit the form. You might want to learn Undercommon. The Downtime form at either of the Libraries in the Scholars teach Undercommon. After your first Adventure you have, for instance 24 days downtime, you can put them all towards learning Undercommon (along with 1gp for each day). Next Adventure is longer and gives you 36 days Days down time. When you've put 250 days (and 250gp) toward it, you then can add Undercommon to your Character Sheet. Same with Crafting, Investigation, etc. The time and gold you spend on Downtime is tracked between short (2 week to 4 month) Adventures by different Pphost DMs.

Love it, I've submitted a character sheet hope you like it.
Ollezall will assist, I may not be hardy enough to barrel in head first, but I'll make sure we all make it back with our heads and a good story for the tavern (life domain cleric ).

Cyrasil the cleric would join.
Okay, let's get this road on the show.
I will be using two combat house-rules just to see if they are an improvement
1) Getting rid of initiative. There will be no rolling for initiative, no initiative order. Anyone with a bonus to initiative I will be experimenting with different ways to make that bonus relevant. For each round of combat, just tell me what you're character is doing. Each players action will be adjudicated as it comes in. Once everyone has had a turn that round we start on the next one. Don't wait for anyone
2) If there is a feature in the environment you feel you could use to improve your situation in combat, you have the option of using a related skill against a DC of 15. If you are successful, your attack (spell cast, whatever) is rolled with advantage. If you fail, you roll with disadvantage.
Let me know what you think. In the meantime, will Cyrasil, Ollezall, Alukilia, Brin Irongear, Nilvén Zhou and Cerlinde please report to Capt Kolar's office

((Rules sound good to me))
Cerlinde of Towerwood arrives at Captain Kolars’ office precisely on time. She is an attractive redhaired elf with fair skin with a slightly golden cast to it. Clad in green and brown elvish-style traveling clothes with a forest green cloak and high soft boots. She carries a staff and green leather backpack- also nicely styled with a ivy pattern. She has a serious expression, “My name is Cerlindriasi Illinarious, of the Towerwood Elven lands. You may call me Cerlinde. I am a scholar who has come to learn at the local libraries. A mentor there recommend I assist in some missions to gain experience and learn the local area. I am ready to serve.” She smiles. Her voice is soft with a subtle elvish accent- it seems she has practiced common carefully -and is trying hard to get it right.
