<I can't see rolls in my browser, so I don't know if the attack roll was with DA or not. Tabaqui's attack should be at disadvantage, given that his target is in darkness, so damage dealt pending confirmation.>
I re-rolled in the post above and got basically the same result.
I think I was confused here. The attack hit, so no change here but, the attack should not have had DA or AD. She could not see the attack coming, so that would give advantage, but you couldn't see her, so just a straight roll. Sorry for my confusion- Darkness is a tricky spell.
(I am confused, why did the gorgon make a save vs her own petrifying gaze? Also, I thought you said something about her gaze not really being a circle, more of a wedge?)
Yes. The circle is the threat area, so she can't simultaneously look in all directions, but could at any moment look in any direction. On her turn, she moved through the whole crowd, shifting her gaze here and there. I leave it for the PCs to say if they could see her, but if they were aiming at her in the dark bubble, they probably could. Again I'm not tracking eyes open/closed that closely, so whatever you say goes. But, if she moves, no AoO unless you look at her and then make the save
She made a save because Calner is covered in mirrors, which happened while she was in darkness so she just looked at him and surprise! Saw herself. She probably would have made the next one, but chipping away at thise LRs can take a while, so I thought I'd just use it now to avoid restrained condition.
Tauzan is grateful as Marlyth restores him to normal from his petrified state. "Many thanks." He takes a moment to try to re-orient himself to what is happening.
(@Wile_E_Coyote, Marlyth had one dose of Willowshade Oil since it was costly to buy these without additional gold pieces and I didn't know that the party would need the item. There's only one dose left if Marlyth successfully applies the previous doses. Edit: Additional cost is deducted from total coins.)

Constrict: the target is grappled (escape DC 13) if it is a Large or smaller creature. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained. The gorgon drags Tabaqui into the water (not in darkness) (Legendary 3) and, as the moonbeam fades into the ether, the water begins to surge again (lair action, Initiative 20).
Pools of liquid within 60 feet of Kyrilla surge and froth, splashing and soaking any creature on the ground within 5 feet of such pools. Creatures that succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw avoid getting liquid in their eyes and mouths.
*Rolled with DA if your eyes are closed, you are in darkness through which you can't see or adjacent to to an edge of the pool covered in darkness through which you cannot see, or if you are restrained.
(Hamish Dex save: 12)
Gorgon's turn:
With two free hands to do so, she fires three arrows at Walks:
1 8 for 11
2 21 for 23
3 21 for 14
(No DA to ranged attack, given the 10ft reach if the constrict attack, it's a fair point of debate, but I dont think she is distracted enough by the proximity of the thing she is crushing with her tail to miss a shot because of it.)
The gorgon, then drags Tabaqui into darkness followed by her swarm if snakes.
Snakes bite Marlyth (blinsight) 18 for 9 and 16 poison (½ on DC10 Con save)
Edit: Tabaqui is up before* the gorgon, she goes, then Walks and Tauzen are up.
Tabaqui's turn begins with him grappled by the gorgon's tail, in the water near the south edge, outside the area of darkness. DA ( if restrained) save against splashed posion.
Update/edit. I just noticed I forgot to remove the green threat area circle from rhe petrifyimg gaze last round. Please ignore it.
One more note: you can still talk to her. She's pretty mad, like all the time, but she is a thinking creature and she has a name. Nobody knows it, so I just keep saying 'the gorgon'.
