A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The woman is buffeted by a sudden gale that billows from Kulogall's outstretched hand, she tumbles over the railing of the deck and plummets to the sea below with a yell.
Ariana grabs her quarterstaff from Elwyn and hurries to the door down which the slaver went. She flanks the south side of the door so no one coming up will see her until they are out of the door, and is ready to hit the next slaver to exit the door with her quarterstaff.

Elwyn/Sanbalet swiftly moves across the deck, peeking down over the railing to see that the tiefling slaver is out of the fight. He then readies his tentacle-shaped wand to blast the first slaver showing themselves on deck.
Movement: Move to square on deck next to slaver 1 Action: Readied Eldritch blast: 21 Force: 12

Bandit 1 is DEAD. Combat has ended.
Since you are last in initiative order, your readied attack will be lost as soon as your turn is over and the round ends. I figured you'd at least want to take out the floating smuggler with that well-rolled attack.
All - Bear in mine that when you ready an action, it is lost if it is not triggered within that same round. If a spell is cast and not triggered, the slot is still lost.
What would you like to do now? You aren't sure how much time you have before the other Smuggler returns with the Captain.

"Do we want to take this ship back to the port in Saltmarsh?" Ruby whispers, looking around for the ship's helm and possibly a way to close or block the way below deck.
Ruby - Up the stairs to the quarterdeck, you find the tiller that controls the rudder. Across from you on the forecastle you see a large wheel with a heavy rusted chain wrapped around it. It appears that the anchor is down at the moment.
