Ok, left it us. You open the door af the end of the left hall.
A glowing green mist drifts around a shrine of binding in this white marble chamber. To the southwest is a black gate. The shrine holds captive a pockmarked old male orc.
Plague Mist. The shrine exudes poisonous mist that makes the area lightly obscured. Each creature that starts its turn in the room must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 5 poison damage and spends its turn incapacitated and retching. If a creature accumulates three failed saves against this mist, its hit point maximum is lowered by the amount of poison damage it has taken from the mist. A creature that makes three successful saving throws against the mist becomes immune to its effects for 4 hours.
Tetrevess is up. Start of turn: DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 5 poison damage and spends its turn incapacitated and retching. (That's a +11 w/ AD, so probably not going to bother T)
(ooc: Trisk has the Periapt of Proof against Poison which gives him immunity to poison damage and the poisoned condition. Do I still have to make the CON save?)
"Someone disable the Black Gate while someone else checks those doors opposite to see if they're locked or barred! We need to get out of this room as quickly as possible!"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Piccolo (on init 13) enters the room(Con save:10) and immediately begins throwing up. Her reddish hue turning a sickly green color. (Trisk takes 1 damage )

Good question. Wording of the item's description makes it clear poison has no effect, so: no damage, no incapacitated condition, no reason to roll for save.
Though he feels like he's about to throw up, that doesn't stop the young artificer from pushing ahead. "Guys! Cover me! I'll get you all out of here!"He yells out, racing to the black gate on his turn, before performing a rather awkward jump kick with the black gate key strapped on his foot (don't ask how he did it but it's on there); thinking he can instantly destroy it with that key-possessed kick.

Wildland Shifters Pt 2 (Pt 1 with PyromaniIsDeadThankGod) Celci (The Lamb) - Non-Binary Changeling Sorcerer (Shadow Magic) Maya Kurosaki- Female Kitsune Cleric (Twilight Domain); Currently in Lancea Randy Wolftree - Male Human Artificer (Armourer); Currently in Crimson Sands of Time Shijiro Otsune- Male Kitsune Blood Hunter (Order Of The Lycan) Trojan Dseyller - Male Tortle Barbarian (Path of the Ancestral Guardian) Xenia Ironhide - Female Kobold Rogue (Soulknife)
As an action, a character who has the glyph key attuned to a black gate’s zone can disrupt the gate. To do so, the character must touch the edge of the gate’s energy field and succeed on a DC 15 Intelligence (Arcana) check. A dispel magic spell cast on the gate up to 1 minute beforehand grants advantage on this check. On a failure, the character performing the check takes 7 force damage.
Randy acts after the NPCS, but assum8ng he can do the action described, make an arcana check. <when its after combat i forego these because I think failure is interesting at most once, but when its to circumvent combat, make the check. Also, the PCs dont know the dispel magic part, but let's just say they do.>

(sorry!) 21 con save for T. seeing Randy apparently knows what he’s doing with the gate, Tetrevess blasts the undead closest to the gate with a firebolt, and shoves it away from the gate.
Black gate is disrupted if Randy makes rhe save vs fear.
The dread warrior is frozen in place, but his precarious pose leaves him prone to toppling over, which happens almost immediately, causing him to fracture into pieces upon impact with the floor.
The girl smiles but says nothing.
She reaches into her small bag and pulls out an ordinary dagger. Then gives it to the drow.

still waiting on Tetrevess to start action sequence in this room.
Following Randy's action, the black gate will be disrupted.
Edit: Forgot, that's after the NPCs, so there will be some saves first, most relevant: the one vs fear (DC13 Wis)
(sorry!) 21 con save for T. seeing Randy apparently knows what he’s doing with the gate, Tetrevess blasts the undead closest to the gate with a firebolt, and shoves it away from the gate.
natural 1 for a 17 to hit with firebolt, DC 22 vs telekenetic shove.
Firebolt damage 13
Zombie Str vs TK 22
The zombie near the gate is slightly singed, but his incredible undead strength keeps him in place despite the powerful arcane telekinetic shove.
Three zombies attack Sam.

(Who is hit by the cone of cold? And saves vs fear?)

Black gate is disrupted if Randy makes rhe save vs fear.
The dread warrior is frozen in place, but his precarious pose leaves him prone to toppling over, which happens almost immediately, causing him to fracture into pieces upon impact with the floor.
(Piccolo save vs cone of cold, advantage and lucky: 21: Trisk takes 4 damage from cold. )
