"Yeah, i got guidance. And i have advice if you want that too." He says, referencing the cantrip, "He's likely been a bandit since a young age, and probably lost a parent along the way since he's a half brother to the other bandit."

"Also it's dangerous to stay out in the forest all on his own. He'll just attract more thieves, especially if he hoards treasure like an adult dragon. Maybe he'll consider changing his trade? There's much opportunity to be had in Dolsela for a formidable fighter." Rizo chimes in before infusing Revelry with a divine spark of Guidance.

((please excuse me roleplaying with myself lmao))
For a moment, it seems as if Cole is going to keep walking. Then he sighs and squints at the tiefling paladin.
"What? What do you want?"
Revelry grins, her yellow eyes gleaming predatorily.
"Give me fifteen minutes," she says to the party under her breath. "Maybe twenty. I'm about to make him see god."
Revelry and Cole speak privately for 24 minutes. When they return, Revelry looks smug, and Cole seems to have gained a new appreciation for all the beauty the world has to offer. He agrees to return to Dolsela and seek gainful employment.
Rizo looks stunned when Revelry returns with the reformed Cole. "I ... better don't ask." Rizo reaches out a hand to Cole, "Thanks, for helping us out. You'll find that work in Dolsela is fair and much less dangerous than this." He points to the cabin. "Perhaps, you can even join us more often for expeditions into the forest, your knowledge and prowess will be highly appreciated and you can make easy money lending your services."
(Not sure if we can add things like that, but it could be brought forward to HomebrewMindflayer that Cole be available to rent for a fee (maybe several tiers). The effect could range from a re-roll on some of the dice rolls for the tables, over some boons, like advantage for initiative for one encounter, to a sidekick that joins a single combat during an expedition. Or what was your plan for him?)
Either way, adding a new NPC to the forest is pretty cool. Having him be available to rent sounds like a good idea (especially if there are other low-tier players without silvered weapons....)
As far as the items, Whistler doesn't really need either (especially as I'm not sure they can be sold in the markets?) If it helps, I have a suggestion: we each toss five silver into the pot to make the coinage total to 618gp, which splits evenly into 6 portions. Each player can then either (1) take two portions of gold (206gp) or (2) take one item and one portion of gold (103gp.)
This would make it so that each weapon is valued at about 100gp, and even if you get one you don't need you at least get some coin as well. I'd be willing to take either side of that deal if we went that way.
According to this website the battle-axe is worth 300 GP and the Eldritch tattoo clocks in with a whopping 5000 GP. I'd assume they sell for half the listed price. That said, I think it is fair that if no one needs the items we could pool them, sell them and share the total gold. Now that might be against the spirit of the game as someone might have a friend (especially a monk/wrestler friend, I know Dragon_heir was looking for this) who they could could give it to. That would certainly make their day with your luck of draw. I'm on the side of selling the spoils together and share the total, but I can understand if someone prefers to not go that far, in which case I'm ok with my share of gold like jermbly suggested.
Aeron has no interest in the needle ('my body is a temple, and i use a mace') and the battleaxe isn't quite his style. instead, he see's if cole or another member perhaps could make use of either. He'll stick with gold

*Dang, 5,000 gold?*
Anyways yeah, if anyone knows a monk or unarmed fighter type person, the tattoo can go to them.

!!!
At that appraisal, it almost seems wrong to just sell the tattoo. I agree with Alaric, let's give the tattoo to the monk and sell the axe for coin. Then we can split the total gold evenly.
Great suggestion. We can pluck a billboard on the tavern wall to reach out to a monk (First comes first serves?). Or as I said, Dragon_Heir plays an unarmed Fighter (This giant based subclass, the name eludes my mind rn). I don't know any other personally, I think. As an alternative to give it away randomly, we could drop him a PM to see if he still plays, I don't remember if he posted recently, but I do know that he asked specifically for this item to be added to the loot list and that's why it is on the list.
Oh, DragonHeir and my other character just wrapped up an adventure together! I'm sure he'd appreciate the tattoo. So we'll offer that to him and sell the battleaxe for 150 gp, that brings our total to 766, which is 191 gp and 5 sp each. Sound good to everybody?

(That's a really cool idea! Tbh I didn't have a plan, I just wanted to give my Oath of Conquest paladin a conquest, and possibly turn her into a weretiger lmao)

Sounds great! Overall, I'd say it's a pretty satisfying haul.

I don't mind if it goes to DragonHeir specifically. (That'd probably be the most efficient choice, if he still plays.)
