I’d suggest everyone take 1 armor and 1 backup weapon (at least) and add it to your inventory. I know there are beasties that can damage those and we don’t want to be starting off a fight “naked”.
I’m also thinking of using my 2 hit dice during this short rest. I think we’re due a long rest after the next encounter which I believe will restore one of those hit die. (DM, please confirm.)

Ya get a long rest as soon as you reach your XP threshold for the day. So, 12 more monsters to go!

So Dolrik has only 1 spell slot left. His channel divinity resets on a short rest. So I’m thinking of popping up Bless immediately in round 1. Round 2 channel divinity: twilight sanctuary to give everyone 1d6+2 revolving temporary hit points each round (you roll at the end of your turn). Then maybe just Dodge until you all have wiped out the group.
If we get a short rest (please please please please), I’ll get my channel divinity back and then, this time, I’d harness divine power to regain a level 1 spell and I can pop Bless again in the last fight. Probably [action]Dodge[/spell] again to keep the concentration going.
So it’s a little bit randomized. The reason you didn’t get a rest for so long is I was rolling a d4 after each quick battle, after the first you hit a rest in a one, after the second in a two. Conceivablly, you could have had to keep fighting another round before resting, but luckily not.
Also, the amount of enemies you’re fighting at a time has been somewhat random as well: the last few rounds you’ve been fighting 1d6+2 enemies per wave.

For this round of fights I don't think we need to worry about extra armor based on how long it takes to equip anyways and we have the plile of loot, but it's not a bad idea to have a second set of equipment going forward, we should probably start thinking about what equipment we want to buy/save for. Since we can't buy magical stuff, we know the best armor and weapons we can buy for ourselves and should plan on obtaining it.

Ok. And you can buy magic stuff once you get enough money.

Well that complicates that plan!
What do you plan to use as a buying guide for magic items as far as prices go? Not that it's important at the moment.

Yes, Dolrik is aiming for Platemail and Shield, eventually. It doesn’t really matter what backup weapon he gets. He just should have something melee for opportunity attacks (currently it’s a warhammer). But in the future, if his current chainmail, shield and/or weapon get damaged. It would be nice to not be empty handed or have to pay retail for something we had already won (then sold)..
Everything else should be sold to build up our ability to buy better gear. Though Healer’s Kits for Count is a very wise investment.
Oh, I see that Dolrik has a light crossbow and 20 bolts. If someone wants that as a backup, great. Otherwise they could be sold for our community loot.
Nadir also looks to get her hands on full plate eventually. We can keep each one set of back up armor for rust monsters or whatever else can destroy armor, but heavy armor we can only replace during tests when we could also buy a new set anyway. I didn’t really worry too much about weapons, just assumed we would have a good stock of spears and javelins around us, since every enemy comes to us. Nadir doesn’t really need more than that. Totally agree that med kits are a good investment for Count.
I‘m not sure where we’re standing XP-wise. I think I missed when we received for the previous two rounds, or did we forget about them? What’s our total? Nadir is at 393.
Edit: OK, I found the post with the XP from the previous two rounds (was #923). It was 75XP in case someone else missed that, too. And Nadir healed 8 HP from one hit dice and is ready to go into the next round.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
This time when you step through the portal, you’re in a small clearing surrounded by dense forest. The clearing is about 30 ft across. On one side is a Tribal Warrior, across from it is a tribal warrior spore servant. Up in the air above you ten feet is a valenar hawk, and there’s a shrubbery by your feet.

Let me know when you’ve taken a short rest. You still have 12 enemies to fight today till you reach your XP threshold.

Who wants a med kit heal?
Roll per person or just do one?
Gods I hope we’re not facing all 12 at once!

I completely forgot you had the kit and Healer feat. Might need that after this next fight.
How about 1 backup armor and at least 1 backup weapon? What does everyone want. Dolrik can choose last.

Rolled both hit dice on character sheet, recovered 18hp in total.
Used one healers kit (4th use i think) on Sir Spitz to get him back to full and will get back in saddle again.
