Ben will throw bead number two from his necklace of fireball, 31 fire damage DC 15 Dexterity Save for half. He wants to hit the white dragon without hitting allies. If that's not possible, then he will focus on hitting the maximum number of targets without hitting allies.

Nadir wouldn’t survive the love and attention that the dragon receives. Best to charge a single foe. She drinks the haste potion and storms at the dragon and the fully grown Godric and her horse join in the fray.
The dragon took the potion of invulnerability so all the damage it took should have been halved, plus the dragon should be 80' above them (legendary action can be used after another creatures turn so he could used them after our turns and flown up) plus hopefully some of them fell prone for that fireball.
(Though I feel like there is more of a fight without the dragon so maybe that's enough to justify letting him fall for the moment)
At a minimum, having the dragon tank with damage resistance is a great strategy for the first round, while we get off our AoE attacks
🤦♂️
i forgot about the dmg resistance.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Count sends the sword the 30' to the dragon and take a swing:
Attack: 1 plus 18 Damage: 4
Then he will send a Fire Bolt at the dragon as well.
Attack: 2 plus 27 Damage: 18
Temp hp: 14
Dragon will use its Frightful Presence (everyone, even us) wisdom DC 17 or be frighten
3 attacks against the wizard:
Attack 1: 2 plus 21 Damage: 15
Attack 2: 4 plus 21 Damage: 17
Attack 3: 3 plus 25 Damage: 12
Haste action disengage and then fly up to be right above our group 30' in the air.

Your Firebolt does indeed kill it! The wizard, bandit captains, death lock, and frog fail. The wizard negates the second attack with its protective barrier but the other two hit.

The wizard casts Globe of Invulnerability: and fails his save against being frightened
An immobile, faintly shimmering barrier springs into existence in a 10-foot radius around you and remains for the duration. Any spell of 5th level or lower cast from outside the barrier can't affect creatures or objects within it, even if the spell is cast using a higher level spell slot. Such a spell can target creatures and objects within the barrier, but the spell has no effect on them. Similarly, the area within the barrier is excluded from the areas affected by such spells. At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the barrier blocks spells of one level higher for each slot level above 6th.
The bandit captains throw daggers but miss completely. Also failing in theyr saves.
The black guard fires three arrows at the dragon, missing, and moves 30 ft forwards.
the bugbear chief moves 30 ft forward and misses the dragon with a javelin.
the chain devil moves 30 ft forward and dodges.
The champion does the exact same thing as the blackguard.
the death lock casts Hunger of Hadar on the group: and then fails his save. The froghemoth dodges, and then succeeds on the save
You open a gateway to the dark between the stars, a region infested with unknown horrors. A 20-foot-radius sphere of blackness and bitter cold appears, centered on a point with range and lasting for the duration. This void is filled with a cacophony of soft whispers and slurping noises that can be heard up to 30 feet away. No light, magical or otherwise, can illuminate the area, and creatures fully within the area are blinded. The void creates a warp in the fabric of space, and the area is difficult terrain. Any creature that starts its turn in the area takes 10 cold damage. Any creature that ends its turn in the area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 8 acid damage as milky, otherworldly tentacles rub against it.i

Guess I should have reread it! We don't need to be afraid of the dragons presence!
Awesome turn. I could be wrong but I think your Firebolt crit killed the Dragon.
Now you have earned the title, "Dragon Rider" and "Dragon Slayer"
