So I’m thinking that starting now I’ll have you do fights up to your XP threshold per day. At the moment that’s four fights against groups of four 1/8 cr creatures. You’ll get a short rest halfway through.
So in a moment, after gathering your loot and recieving 4 gp from the crowd, you’ll be taken back to your chambers for a short rest, then you’ll have two more fights.

To be honest I would find it more entertaining if the amount of encounters before a short/long rest and the number of monsters would be random. As an example there could be 1d4+2 monsters in one encounter and afterwards at a roll of 4 on a 1d4+1 we get a rest, otherwise another encounter. The second time we roll 1d4+2 for the rest and with a 4 we get it otherwise we have a third encounter before the rest. This would make it a bit less programmed. What do you think?
