The matter decided Colm and Brade headed off down the hall toward the dim light of the last of a stack of dying torches left by the goblins over night
For Colm + Brade
Your trip north to the intersection takes only a minute. The extra time does however give you both a chance to take a closer look at the statues inside each alcove. Each is an unremarkable pose of a human warrior wielding a weapon. Some with spears and shields. Others with longsword, and some with what was once a stone bow but that has long since been claimed by time.
Arriving at the intersection you are met by the same goblin from last night who eyes you warily. Behind him, the dim light and smoke of a smoldering fire conceals what is likely a larger room at the end of a hall in darkness. Shadowy shapes and the noise of several people can be heard going about their business.
Pointing up the hall opposite him he says. "There is angry room of fire. Clan no go there."
Shifting his arm to point north down the hall where you can see some dim light he continues. "That is hall to entrance. Rooms beyond. Clan stay away."
For Everyone Else
The four of you, plus the two guards pull open the doors and, with one last look north to the slowly disappearing forms of Colm and Brade, step back into the crypt and the scene of last night's epic battle. The doors on the far side have been thrown open, and the light of the day presses in, at least a little bit, to illuminate the coffins and bone piles. Two wagons without horses sit quietly awaiting your attention. While there are some animal and bird noises outside, the crypt itself is utterly quiet. The guards, with their swords out, take the stubby remains of a torch from last night quicly light them, and step close enough to the outer walls to confirm nothing obvious lurks in the remaining darkness.
"So," Kiana addresses to Kimo, "where's this strange writing you were talking about? I'm not exactly a language wiz myself, but on account of the fact that we'll be heading towards the biggest spot for mages in perhaps the entire Empire, I imagine somebody there could either read it or cast a spell that lets them read it. Might as well write it down or take a rubbing or something now so that we can figure out what it means sooner, if not later. For closure if nothing else." Kiana walks over to the writing, and is completely clueless as to what it says unless it is written in Galagosian or Primordial. She doesn't have any paper on her, so she'll check the un-horsed caravans to see if there's anything for writing.

Colm puts his hand to his head for a moment, grimacing behind his fingers as he thinks of what to say to smooth things over with the goblins when he suddenly hears the goblin talking.
"Entrance to home. Hall lead to room. Room has stairs. Stairs go up. Clan come down." The goblin explained in broken common.
When Colm pulled his hand from his face to look down at the creature he found it looking back up at him, a strange look on his face.
"Room have other halls. Not safe. Goblins avoid."
Colm unslung his pack and rummaged around for a moment waiting to see if Brade would ask anything else. As the tension in the silence built he turned to the barbarian and asked. "You uh, dont happen to have a torch do you?" holding up a meager candle as if to punctuate his lack of preparation.
For Everyone Else
Kimo leads the group to one of the nearby sarcophagii and sure enough strange runes adorn the top and edges. There are some recurring motifs on other nearby sarcophagii but none of you can read them. With some paper from the abandoned wagons and some ... charcoal that Kasymir produced from... somewhere the group was able to make the rubbings the cleric had suggested.
"I found some other writing on the door, you may want to have a look at" he offered, leading the group to the main entrance to the chamber.
There, on the outside and plainly visible under the light of day lay a repeating motiff of words in several languages.
By Order of the Magister let the doors of Amis Anthar remain sealed That the soldiers may fight on And the guardian may sleep And so evil may not reawake And tread upon the land

"Ah... oops. I guess Brade was right about that evil stuff. In fairness to us, it was really dark at the time.

Kimo stood at the heavy stone doors, reading the warning for the third time as he pawed nervously at the strange stone tattoo hidden beneath his sleeve. "I dont think we should stay here. I for one think we should roll the wagons out into the light and go and look for the missing drivers."
One of the guards gave a nod of agreement and raised her hand to block the early morning sun from her eyes as she scanned the horizon.
Kasimyr stepped away from the group, his eyes surveying the muddy ground, as he worked to determine where the missing drivers and horses might have gone. Here, at the entrance though, the ground was a muddy wash of footprints, horse track, and wagon wheels to make out much of anything. "We'll have to fan out and find their tracks if we're going to do that."
With apologies to Colm. I had only your intro to suss out how you'd respond to your ability being called into question.
I havent heard from Kasimyr so I wrote in what I thought he'd do. We havent heard from Ali either. I'll admit I wanted to give you all free action and had hoped that we could all be active enough it wouldnt get bogged down waiting and wondering. If I dont hear from the others I will likely write them out here and leave them free to go look for the missing horses.
Kiana heads nearer to the hall where Brade and Colm left, pulling out a piece of copper wire from a pouch and pointing around in the general direction that they went, sending Brade a message.
"Hey, it's me. What direction are you going to go? Any information to report back? Should we head in? By the way, you can reply by just whispering. I'll probably hear you."

(I am trying to find where to jump in as Ali, just haven't gotten the time and inspiration to land at the same time, but I am lurking and reading)
Ali finds herself torn on what to do. She's never been around this many people, especially not without a very unified vision. She stands in almost shock, thinking she should go look for those poor horses, but also thinking that humans and goblins are creatures too and might need her help
In response to Brade's whisper, Kiana yells to the rest of those in the large room. "News from Brade, goblins won't attack us. We're good to follow him and Colm. We're going to go left, I guess." She then starts walking down the hall to meet up with Brade and Colm, sending a message while walking; "on our way. Oh, I forgot to mention, there was writing on the doors that called this place 'Amis Anthar' and said if the doors were opened evil would be unleashed. Those would be the doors that we opened to get in. So... whoops. It said something about soldiers fighting on, which we've seen, but also a sleeping guardian of some sort. Be alert for that."

Timo stood at the doors looking out, and turned to look at the two women as they conversed. In the muddy grass more than 20 paces away Kasimyr was bent low, studying the ground for signs of passage.
"Go ahead and go with the others. We'll be safe here. We'll go and find the horses."
At that moment Kasimyr returned to the group. "Hopefully theyre still alive. We'll need them if we're going to get those wagons to town."
With that decided Kiana and Ali left the light and disappeared back down the hall toward their other companions.
Still looking to give Kasimyr a chance to show back up. I'd say we pick up with you all at the intersection headed toward the west hall. I'll need marching order and who has torches.
At the intersection, Kiana urges Brade to step in front, walking behind him (or just second in line if he decides to be elsewhere). She takes out her tinderbox and lights a torch (removed from inventory).

Brade gives Colm a nudge but the chap seems to have frozen up. With a sigh, Brade steps forward and says to the goblin,
"Let me see if I understand your twisted little mind. That way" (Brade points East behind the goblin) "is more of you lot."
"That way" (pointing West) "is the angry room of fire."
"And that way" (pointing North) "is the entrance to more halls and rooms, where the goblins came from, but the goblins now avoid it. RIght?"
Yes.
Brade suggests that they peek into this angry room of fire first. When the check in message comes from Kiana, he will inform her of that decision.
To the goblin he says, "We're gonna poke around a bit, alright? Just stay out of our way and you won't get stepped on."
then he'll turn down the Western passage and proceed cautiously, without trying to look to the goblin like he's trying to proceed cautiously.
