9 successes and 10 failures... not even with one more. What's the plan if the skill challenge has been failed?
Hmmm. The plan is that you return to the Warden with enough information to continue the investigation. You may have a future drawback. Either way, you've completed round
Congratulations, you gain 300 XP and +500 gp. If you would like to roleplay your conversation with the Wardens, you can use the information you've gathered to post a scene. The Wardens will want you to track down the missing Wizard +500 gp
You can level up your character or start fresh with a new Tier 2 character, level 2 with 1500 gp

Looks like I found a skill challenge for the DM! LOL
Congratulations, you gain 450 XP and +500 gp. If you would like to roleplay your conversation with the Wardens, you can use the information you've gathered to post a scene. The Wardens will want you to track down the missing Wizard +500 gp
You can level up your character or start fresh with a new Tier 2 character, level 2 with 1500 gp. I've posted new Encounters and updated the lead post on this thread.
OOC: I think I'll keep going with Garagas for now. Kind of want to see how far he can get before he dies. (Plus that'll give me more time to think of what the next character will be. The content sharing is opening up a lot of options I'll want to look at.)
For the information I've gathered, is there a place I should look for that?
And with exploring the tower, is that going through the other T1 encounters too still? Or choose one of the T2 encounters for the next one in the tower? Probably looking at the two polar bears. Gonna want to prep the room with the jelly ochre with some traps and things before proceeding up the stairs though.
Rime uses her newfound riches to get a splint mail armor made of mithral. What a wonder of craftsmanship, she thinks to herself, all links fall easily into each other and it makes nearly no sound when she moves around. This will certainly help, when stealth is needed. Further, she buys some scrolls, waterskins, a few daggers and javelins and another set of hunting traps. Hopefully she will be better prepared for the next quest as the wrestle match with the crocodiles was a near death experience.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(After much consideration, I think both, the scorpion and the polar bear(s), are too tough for Rime as everything is large and can easily move up the 20 feet wall... She will dance with the three tigers.)
When she entered the castle, Rime cast Armor of Agathys from a spell scroll, which will bolster her resolve (5 temporary HP) and deter attackers (5 cold damage to anyone with a successful melee hit while the temporary HP remain) for a full hour.
Climbing the vines, brings you to the top of a large inner ward about 80 feet wide and 100 feet long. You are standing on the high wall and there are stairs and ladders leading down to the inner ward 20 feet below.
Rime, with her shield and a dagger equipped, sneaks up the high wall and tries to stay low when peeking what is inside ( Stealth: 17).
A tiger appears in the inner ward.
( Initiative:7 ) If unseen, she will approach to within 20 feet before acting.
Barri returns to the wardens and relays the information and returns the clues he has found. When they offer him the chance to make more coin tracking the wizard, he accepts. He spends the night resting. In the morning, he stops by the magic shop, trading in his old axe for a warhammer and purchasing a Vicious Battleaxe and adamantine scale mail. He then journeys off, back to the keep and further into the wilds, until he comes upon an old fortress. Determined to find the wizard, he heads inside. (Giant Scorpion, Initiative 11)
After getting his reward from the Wardens, Aresus goes to the local enchanter, providing his maul to be enchanted with viciousness and his splint to be reinforced with adamantine. He also stops by an apothecary to pick up another potion of heroism and some supplies that he uses to make a potion of healing using his herbalism kit.
Once he arrives at the Old Keep, he drinks the potion of heroism and prepares to fight the polar bear (Encounter 2C) at the top of the vined wall with his initiative of 20 (19 + 1).
I'm reposting this so that it's easier to find.

I will take on the giant scorpion (action economy reasons)!
Im not gonna buy anything cause I’m saving up for a +1 weapon. initiative: 21
But you just got the 1000 for the +1 weapon if you would like one, right? 500 for the last quest and 500 more for starting this one. Including the 500 at level 1this is a 1500 total with which a new character would start at level 2. Well, that's how I understand it at least and how much gold I spent. If I'm wrong, I will need to return this new shiny mithral splint armor...
I will take on the giant scorpion (action economy reasons)!
If you want to talk action economy, the giant scorpion is the worst option, what with it having more attacks than everybody else. Not to mention one of those attacks dealing enough damage to one-shot your character.
