This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Wolf #3 attacks Nosam!18 to hit / 8 piercing damage. Whether or not it hits, Nosam must succeed on a DC11 STR save or be knocked prone under the leaping canine.
Save: Strength: (13)+5=18
Nosam rolls with the attack of the wolf and steps aside hoping to deflect any incoming damage. He puts away the bow and once again wields his hammer and shield and attempts to crack the wolf's skull. He winds up and this time doesn't have to deal with anything impeding the force.

(STR Check:15) Kiselina manages to maintain his balance, probably because his prayer to Bahamut was heard. But he also silently thanks the god for granting him the ability to see further in the darkness than he’s ever been able to see before, unaware that it wasn’t his god that provided the benefit.
He’s rather impressed with the barbarian strength and cunning, shoving the one wolf to create space and kicking the legs out from under the other one. He wishes he had thought of that.
Tactically, he thinks, reducing the combatants makes the most sense. Get the advantage of numbers on our side. Wolf 3 looks the most injured and the most vulnerable (ooc: optional flanking rule not in play I take it?) so he focuses his attack on it. (Ooc, if it died from other’s damage, switch to Wolf 4.). He calls back to Marten and the others with the progress report.
(Free Action) “Three wolves close, three Goblins closing from the east” (Move) Maintain position (Action) Attack wolf 3, (To hit-22 or 18, damage-9) (Bonus) n/a (Reaction) Attack of Opportunity
Marten: Stand up / Action: Attack W4, Shortbow (80/320): 6 Damage: 12
Daphyra: Toll the Dead cantrip on W3 - WIS DC13 (I think it hasn't lost any HP, in which case it is 2 damage.
Vidruth: firebolt at w4 (15 to hit, 9 fire damage)
Nosam: Stays in fighting position with w3 at m13 / Attack on w3, Warhammer: hit 10 (5+5), damage 8 (5+3)
Kiselina: Attack wolf 3, (To hit-22 or 18, damage-9)
Berry slams his shield into the wolf, but with surprising strength the feral creature holds its own against the fairy and remains standing (STR: 19+1=20)
Marten’s arrow deflects off of the cave wall as Wolf 4 suddenly springs away from Kiselina then back again, drawing Marten’s aim off target.
Dathyra (wolf WIS 10+1=11). In sudden pain from the harengon's deathly tolling, Wolf 3 dunks underwater, rubbing its ears briskly against the creek bed in a vain attempt to make the pain stop. It takes 2HP necrotic damage, then breaks the surface again, wildly threatening Nosam.
Vidruth’s firebolt blackens the top of Nosam’s helm as it sears over the dwarf’s head and into Wolf 4 doing 9HP fire damage. Steam hisses off of the wet canine as it howls in pain, its lips baking around its teeth.
Nosam stows his crossbow (interact with object) and draws his hammer as part of his attack, but his hammer blow splashes through creek water as the wolf springs aside, evading the attack. (OOC: Nosam cannot yet ready his shield, as that will require an additional interact with object. He can do that in his next turn.)
Kiselina’s halberd slices Wolf 3 doing 9HP damage, but the creature, though half-starved, is wiry, strong, and in a frenzy. It continues to stand and fight.
Enemies
Goblin 6 Moves forward to O12, and attacks Berry with a ferocious swing of its short sword, then (bonus action disengage) moves back to the middle of the cave. 12 to hit / 7 piercing damage.
Goblin 7 does the same thing, moving to O12, slashing at Berry hand-to-hand, then disengaging and moving away. 21 to hit / 8 piercing damage.
Wolf #2 attacks Berry 14 to hit / 7 piercing damage. Whether or not it hits, Berry must succeed on a DC11 STR save or be knocked prone under the leaping canine.
Wolf #3 attacks Nosam18 to hit / 9 piercing damage. Whether or not it hits, Nosam must succeed on a DC11 STR save or be knocked prone under the leaping canine.
Wolf #4 attacks Kiselina 23 to hit / 5 piercing damage. Whether or not it hits, Kiselina must succeed on a DC11 STR save or be knocked prone under the leaping canine.
You are still situated like so (with one exception: G7 is one square closer to Berry than marked):
(STR Check:7) Kiselina is bowled over by the attacking beast, but cautiously comes back to an upright position. He stiffens his resolve knowing the group still has a chance, but switches his attacks to wolf 4 (his own attacker). Seeing Vidruth’s fire bolt land a solid hit, he hopes to end its life and allow the other group members to finish off wolf 3, at least.
(Free Action) “Hang in there everybody, reduce their numbers!” (Move) Stand up from prone position (15’) Move to N12, if wolf 4 is killed. (Action) Attack wolf 4, (To hit-18, damage-11)(Bonus) n/a (Reaction) Attack of Opportunity
Despite the gruesome attack of the wolf, Berry keeps his footing but let go of his shield. Somehow he registers Marten’s question but only manages to press out, ”Goblins!” between gritted teeth. He draws his Shortsword and stabs in a fluid motion at the wolf in front of him. Then, only moments later, he brings down his scimitar in an arc, before prepare for an onslaught of goblin attacks. (should all wolves go down this round he steps menacingly 5 feet towards the goblins.)
str save: (18,3)+5=23 Free: speaking, drop shield (I noted that you let a shield be equipped as a free action) Action: draw Shortsword as part of the attack on W2, to hit: 24, 9 damage Bonus: TWF, Scimitar attack on W2, to hit: 15, 4 damage Move: None, unless all wolves go down, then he steps 5 feet towards the goblins
Daphyra pales at the vicious attacks the wolves are making on her new friends. She moves left to have a better position and points at the wolf again, a bell once more sounding.
She clutches at her amulet and calls out a quick healing spell to Nosam, having seen him take yet another wolf bite.
Movement: Move to K15 to have sight into the cave entrance.
Action: Toll the Dead (12HP damage if Wolf 3 fails a DC13 WIS save. If W3 is already down, target W4 instead)
Bonus Action: Cast Healing Word on Nosam for 6HP healing.
Kiselina: Attack wolf 4, (To hit-18, damage-11) / Move to N12, if wolf 4 is killed.
Berry: draw Shortsword and attack W2, to hit: 24, 9 damage / Scimitar attack on W2, to hit: 15, 4 damage
Daphyra moves to K15 / cast Toll the Dead / Cast Healing Word on Nosam for 6HP healing.
Round 5 Results (partial)
Kiselina’s halberd whistles overhead and slices down on Wolf 4, thunking heavily into its shoulders, cutting through bone and spine. The creature is instantly killed and sprawls, spasming upon the stone steps.
Berry’s two-weapon attacks on Wolf 2 sprays the creature’s blood on the cavern walls, but, snarling and crazed, it still stands.
Daphyra calls to Bastet, and a deathly tolling assaults Wolf 3 (WIS15+1=16), but its animal nature seems, for the moment, impervious to the necrotic attack, and it takes no damage.
Nosam, with renewed vigor, finds himself conscious, face down in the creek, and breathing in water. (OOC: Nosam has dropped his hammer, but it is directly under his hand so he may pick it up using interact with object. Nosam can survive underwater for 3 rounds (=to CON mod) before dying.)
vidruth rushes forwards a few feet and attempts to pull nosam out of the water and upright, grabbing his mace

Marten swears under his breath as he sees the arrow harmlessly bounce off the cave wall, trying to keep track of the wolves and adding the 3 unseen goblins to his mental count.
As he nocks another goblin arrow, Marten sees one of the wolves sink its teeth into the Nosam and then sees the dwarf splash into the water (knocked down? unconscious?....dead?). "Nosam!", he yells, firing an his bow at the wolf who took down his friend. As soon as he releases the arrow, he glances up at the chaotic fight in front of him, makes a quick decision. He calls out to Daphyra in a bit of a panic, "Daph, can you help Nosam?!", as he starts to move. If Daphyra is unable to help Nosam, Marten thinks that he'll probably need to drag the dwarf out of the creek and may need to use his healing kit.
(OOC: I know that Daphyra is already healing Nosam this round, but Marten probably didn't realize that until he sees Nosam resurface.
Weird. I normally use the forum's roll macro for attacks, but I'm getting a message: "Dice rolls not yet available for this section." I'll roll in the game log this time.)
Movement: (See below.) Action: Attack W3, Shortbow (80/320): 15 (10+5), Damage: 8 (1 + 4 + 3), (rolls in game log) including Sneak Attack damage (4) since Kiselina was within 5' of W3 and not incapacitated Free Action: Talking
Movement
If Marten's attack hit W3 and took that wolf out of the fight, then he ends his move at M10. Marten has a moment to glance down at Nosam to see that he's showing signs of life. Leaving Vidruth to help Nosam, Marten sprints forward to support the other two fighters while Nosam recovers. Seeing Kiselina finish off another wolf (W4), Marten steps deftly around its body, ducks between Berry and Kiselina, and pivots to face the cave opening on the right. Marten doesn't have time to wonder at how clear everything now appears, like someone opened a window and let the sunlight into the cave. Move M14 -> N13 -> N12 -> -> M11 (difficult terrain) -> -> M10 (difficult terrain)
If not, then he ends his move at N13. Marten is amazed that the wolf (W3) is still standing. As Daphyra crosses over to the other bank, Marten steps out of the creek (to N13) and tries to get the wolf's attention away from Nosam and Vidruth, shouting, "Hey! Leave off! Arrrr!", and waving his bow toward the wolf. If he still has an object interaction available this turn, Marten draws his rapier in his right hand. Move M14 -> N13, and stay within 5' of W3 as it moves.
“Bloody hell!”Although it sounded more like muffled gibberish. Nosam tries to half laugh and half run his mouth, but has to cough up and clear the water from his pipes first. “That may leave a mark. I reckon I’d preferred you shot me Mister Marten.”Nosam collects his hammer and embarrassingly shuffles to his feet. “Since this pup won’t die I spose I should use my shield to get em to quit trying to jump me. Must be these rugged good looks.”
Nosam: with Vidruth’s help, Nosam comes up for air, and pulls his shield around from his back and sets it in place, and takes the hammer from Vidruth’s hand.
Vidruth: I am awarding you inspiration for sacrificing a turn to help Nosam.
Marten’s black-fletched arrow impales Wolf 3 at close range, piercing straight through its throat and the narrow arrowhead penetrating the canine’s skull as the beast leaps up to attack Nosam once again. The creature’s muscles spasm once, leaping forward but falling short to one side, its momentum bumping it lifelessly against the shore. (OOC: the move you outlined for Marten is not possible as you will end in an occupied square. Following the gist of your intention, I have placed you in M11, which you can reach by wading 15’ up the creek through difficult terrain).
Enemies (only Wolf 2 and the Goblins remain).
Goblin 6 Moves forward to O12, and attacks Kiselina with a ferocious swing of its short sword, then (bonus action disengage) moves back to the middle of the cave. 16 to hit / 3 piercing damage.
Goblin 7 does the same thing, moving to O12, slashing at Kiselina hand-to-hand, then disengaging and moving away. 20 to hit / 7 piercing damage.
Wolf #2 attacks Berry 14 to hit / 5 piercing damage. Whether or not it hits, Berry must succeed on a DC11 STR save or be knocked prone under the leaping canine. (The wolf no longer gains advantage from "pack tactics.")
Goblin 4 climbs a rubbish pile at the back of the cave into a crevice in the ceiling and is no longer visible.
Berry wards off the pouncing wolf and steps back a feet or two only to charge forward energetically. Just before running into the wolf he jumps up with a few powerful beats of his wings and sails over the wolf. With a roll he lands in front of the goblin and he stretches out his shortsword in a lunge towards the surprised goblin. Then with a horizontal arc he lashes out at the wolf behind him with his scimitar.
Sustained damage: 3 (6 original damage halved due to resistance) Str save: (17,1)+5=22 Move: somersault over W2 to be positioned between wolf and goblins (P12) Action: attack G7, hit: 21 for 7 damage Bonus: attack W2, hit: 8 for 7 damage Free: none
Daphyra sees the wolves begin to fail and adds her efforts to neutralise the final one, tolling the bell again. She notices Kiselina looking worn under the pressure of the goblins and calls a healing spell for him. She yells out to the group, "That was my last healing spell! I can still stop you from dying but I can't bring you back from unconsciousness anymore!"
Action: Toll the Dead (DC13 Wis save or 6 necrotic damage)
Nosam hears the warning from Daphyra regarding the healing situation and knows the urgency of getting these targets down. He considers Second Wind, but opts to wait. He advances around the bend hoping to get his eyes on the remaining targets and provide a defensive buffer for his allies. Berry and Daphyra appear to be wearing the wolf down and Nosam readies his attack as he nears the beast. However, it looks as though it may collapse before his arrival.
Movement: 15' to O12 (counted 2 squares as rough terrain), O11 if wolf 2 is down.
Action: Attack wolf 2 if still standing, Warhammer: hit 16 (11+5), damage 10 (7+3)
Bonus Action: None
Free Action: Opportunity attack with Warhammer on either Goblin coming within range.
Kiselina feels the thrust of the goblin blade as it pierced his battered body, wincing badly but holding on for dear life. He hears Daphyra’s warning and senses the renewed vigor from her healing. “This has gone on too long.” He thinks to himself, realizing his limited capability to restore life is all that the group has left. He presses the attack, hoping to end the fight and distribute healing as needed (if he survives) to those who need it.
He starts to close the distance with the goblins, believing the rest will handle the wolf. But as he goes to move, he sees Nosam step in front of him forcing him to re-evaluate his actions.
(Ooc, posting general terms as order of operations makes timing of actions difficult to decipher.)
(Free Action) “One of the goblins is escaping!” (Move) Prefer to close with goblins without provoking AOO from wolf, but will to get an attack in on any goblin. (Action) Attack goblin ?, (To hit-8, damage-10) (Bonus) n/a (Reaction) Attack of Opportunity
(Ooc, posting general terms as order of operations makes timing of actions difficult to decipher.)
(Free Action) “One of the goblins is escaping!”
(OOC: I asked about the timing of actions in the PM thread. I agree that it makes sequencing confusing, but I'm impressed that we've maintained a flow of 1 round / day for a whole week.
Also, it's that same goblin, isn't it? The one who the party at the original ambush? Then he ran when we found them outside. And now he's running again. He's the real "Sir Robin" of this gaggle of goblins!)
Marten's eyes go wide in amazement at Berry's acrobatics, but hearing Kiselina, he says, "I'm on it, Kis'a! Just try to leave one o' thes'uns alive." As Nosam charges into the cave, Marten relies on his unfamiliar Darkvision to slip past his companions and then sprints along the north wall of the cave, avoid the ongoing melee (i.e., avoid OA from the opponents). He runs with his bow in his left hand and his right hand free and climbs the rubbish pile at the east end of the chamber where he saw the other goblin go.
Once he decides to chase after the goblin who fled, Marten tries to ignore the ongoing fight. He trusts that Berry, Nosam, Kiselina, and the others will keep the remaining goblins' attention. He just needs to stop the one who ran (G4) from alerting yet more goblins. Marten's goal is to figure out where G4 went and to catch up to him next round, if possible, or at least get close enough to hit him with an arrow next round.
Movement: Moving as far to the the east of the chamber as he can while avoiding provoking an OA from any opponents whom the others haven't already killed or knocked out. Something like this: M11 > N11 > > O11 > O10 > P10 > Q11 > > R12 > > S13 > > T13 Action: dash Free Action: Talking
(OOC - @1973 yes please ignore the vigilant blessing - somehow I'd misread it as a free action not an action.)
Daphyra sees the wolf attacking Nosam and retaliates. She points at the wolf and the sound of a bell tolls as she casts Toll the Dead.

Move M14 -> N13 -> N12 -> -> M11 (difficult terrain) -> -> M10 (difficult terrain)
“Bloody hell!” Although it sounded more like muffled gibberish. Nosam tries to half laugh and half run his mouth, but has to cough up and clear the water from his pipes first. “That may leave a mark. I reckon I’d preferred you shot me Mister Marten.” Nosam collects his hammer and embarrassingly shuffles to his feet. “Since this pup won’t die I spose I should use my shield to get em to quit trying to jump me. Must be these rugged good looks.”
Movement: stand up
Action: get hammer and shield equipped
Only reactionary attacks this round if needed.
Round 5 Results (cont’d.)
You are now situated like so:
Please post actions for Round 6 in any order.

(Free Action) “One of the goblins is escaping!”
(Move) Prefer to close with goblins without provoking AOO from wolf, but will to get an attack in on any goblin.
(Action) Attack goblin ?, (To hit-8, damage-10)
(Bonus) n/a
(Reaction) Attack of Opportunity
Something like this: M11 > N11 > > O11 > O10 > P10 > Q11 > > R12 > > S13 > > T13
Action: dash
Free Action: Talking
If needed for finding where G4 went: Perception 10
