Aridrey enters the room and Aria turns to them and claps her hands in delight. ‘Ah there are so many of you to meet’ Your friend there seems to be more busy in investigating that door then talking to me, though I appreciate that they at least acknowledged my existence.’ Aria says, gesturing to her right where Hugh is busy analysing the hinges on the door. She then leans closer to the glass, her wide yellow eyes looking deep into you and asks ‘Now tell me, what are you here for?’
“Honestly, I had to see for myself that there was an elf in the mirror.”Auridrey says. “So, you got stuck in there so long ago, you don’t remember how?”
‘No I don’t really know how I got trapped. I just walked into this room and the first thing you can see is the mirror as it faces the door directly. I saw my own reflection in the glass at first for a fraction of a second, but then I blinked and was staring back at the horrified faces of my party. This mirror was obviously made to capture the first ever adventurer to enter this room. I’m like a museum piece locked up in here!’ she says, a manic expression crossing her face.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Insight: 10
”It’s a little strange that the trap only caught one person. Probably malfunctioned.” Aridrey shrugs, setting that thought aside for the moment. “What’s your favourite colour, Aria? Mine’s dark green.”
[Sorry I keep asking for extra details, but what is the insight check for?]
’My favourite colour? I…haven’t thought about that in a long time…well, all I can see in here is blue, all sorts of shades and tones, and even when I look outside through the glass of the mirror, it’s all tinted different kinds of blue, so I’ll go with that, seeing as it’s the only colour I’ve seen for 158 years, and the only colour I’ll see for all eternity… I haven’t aged a minute, slept a wink or ate or drunk anything since I got trapped here, so I reckon I’m pretty much immortal here…like a god! Maybe I’m the goddess of this place, and I have subjects awaiting me, and…and powers!’ She then points towards you and cackles, ‘Maybe you’re the ones trapped, whilst I’m in here, where nobody can harm me and I can reign supreme!’ She then just continues to jeer and cackle at you, very clearly insane.
[If she was actually trapped or is the trap. I was also wondering if she was insane. - the second question I have an answer to. I feel like there’s a 50/50 chance she’ll attack us if we free her as she is insane.]
"Is there a way to get you out?" He asks as he turns from the door. "Its safe. Are we ready to open it and see what is inside?" Hugh looks at his teammates and waits for acknowledgement, after all, team work give the enemy someone else to stab.
Aria recovers from her cackling fit and says ‘I don’t know how I can be let out, the only thing I can think of is maybe smashing the mirror, since it’s like I’m trapped behind a window, and I’ll just be able to climb on out through the frame?’
[You’ve all definitely picked up on the fact that she’s absolutely broken and insane, but from Aridrey’s Insight check you can identify that she isn’t inherently evil]
“I do have a shovel and an iron pot if we do decide to smash it. Does anyone have any other ideas?”Aridrey offers. “There is no way I’m touching that mirror directly, I’m throwing things if we’re smashing it.”
The door knob turns successful and the door creaks open. On the other side of the door is a dingy chamber 15 feet by 15 feet, yet the floor actually goes far deeper than the door, about 10 feet down with a thin slope leading round down into the centre of the pit. The walls of the chamber, unlike the rest of the dungeon, seem to be made of a dark stone, coated in some sort of oily fluid. There are no torches lighting the room but an iron grate on the ceiling similar to the one you saw earlier lets natural sunlight in through small gaps and the heat of the desert.
You can see from the doorway at the bottom of the pit that at the bottom there is a particular beaten up and broken strongbox. What would you like to do?
[Does anybody want to do anything in this room? If not you’ve always got the option to just leave and move onto something else or even go onto the next dungeon]
The shovel slams against the mirror and the glass shatters. Out of the empty frame where the reflection once was, salt water pours everywhere, and as it drains away through cracks in the rock tiles, it reveals Aria, laying on the floor soaked and unconscious, but otherwise stable and unharmed.
After learning about the person in the mirror, Aridrey is going to check that out.
[What do you mean by ‘that’, the key or the lady of the looking glass?]

Eggo Lass readies her crossbow in case something comes out.
Telepathically (GOOlock feature, but going from memory atm) she concurs with Aridrey's sanity assessment.
This is a signature. It was a simple signature. But it has been upgraded.

Standing to the side of the door, Hugh teaches out and takes the knob and slowly tries to turn the knob.
(If it turns, before he open the door, three fingers in the air, then 2, then 1, and opens the door.
If it does not turn, Hugh moves to pick the lock. Dex + Profx2 (expertise) 17
If that works, he opens the door.
[And the line actually is one of Murphy's laws of combat and goes Teamwork give the enemy someone else to shoot at. I adapted it.

“That actually worked?”Auridrey mutters under her breath. “Maybe I should just break every cursed item I come across?”
Auridrey is going to make sure Aria isn’t face-down. Then she goes to get her shovel, and shake off glass shards (from the shovel).
