As Salamander falls down, Bilyur goes in for an attack, with another spell [DC 14 Wisdom Save: 11 ], and then a perfect punch. The aim is flawless, the motion is direct and the technique is precise. It all squares up to be the perfect attack, until his fist just sort of bounces into the compressed air body of the Stalker, still dealing some damage but proving far less effective than he would have hoped for. 

The Stalker once again fails the save and succumbs to the ghostly ringing of Bilyur’s spell. 

Eggo, Sly and Xarkris are still up!

Xarkris sees his opportunity and bares his teeth. He congratulates himself on coming up with the idea of luring the stalker into this “kill box”, but chastises himself for not coming up with the idea sooner, as his catches of glimpse of the lifeless body of Salamander Pie. With intense focus, he swings his battle axe at the stalker and feels the resistance as his attack hits the target.

Xarkris rolls a 19 to hit for 9 points of damage. End turn.

Sly continues to throw fire quills.

Attack with disadv.: 8, 10 [luck has ran out]

As Sky misses her fire bolt, Xarkris slashes the Stalker cleanly and another gush of air rushes down the corridor. Unbeknownst to you, the Stalker is now fairly ragged and worn, since thin veil of magical air holding its form together is now pockmarked with burns, slashes and other damage. It’ll likely perish quite soon. 

Only Eggo is left!

Eggo Lass says to Xarkris, "You were right about the armor. He thinks you're Leri!" She then lets out an eldritch blast, hoping to end the stalker's assault.

Eggo Lass unfortunately misses her blast. It is now the enemies turns! 

- Invisible Stalker (Health: -94, Condition: invisible, Position: Flanked by Bilyur and Xarkris) Multiattack: Slams Xarkris (25 to hit, 12 bludgeoning damage on a hit) and Bilyur (26 to hit, 9 bludgeoning damage on a hit)
- Skulk 4  (Health: Full, Condition: invisible, Position: Around the party, now closest to Sly and Salamander) Scratches at Sly: 25 to hit,  6 slashing damage plus 4 necrotic damage on a hit. 

It is now the party’s turn! 

But, it’s REALLY nice armor.

 [You would have skipped the Armour encounter but this was mandatory regardless. The only difference is that the Stalker targets Xarkris since he’s wearing Leri’s armour] 

Xarkris flinches at the recent attack. Now, he is feeling the perfect balance between fear and rage. He roars with a battle cry and swings his battleaxe at the stalker and rolls a 14 to hit (I think this is successful) for 9 points of damage.

Sly cries out in pain involuntarily as the invisible creature bashes right through her shield. The tiefling retaliates with a fumbling fire quill.

Attack with disadv.: 13 10

Action: Spare the dying on salamander. 

Bonus Action: unarmed strike, 13 to hit for 3 damage.

Eggo Lass makes another beam with her eldritch blast.

Both Bilyur and Sly miss, though Salamander is now stable, and Xarkris lands a clean axe attack once again on the Stalker, who just survives until Eggo blasts it to pieces with a perfectly aimed spell, the Stalker disappearing in a great gust of wind. 

Just the Skulk remains! 

- Skulk 4  (Health: Full, Condition: invisible, Position: Around the party, now closest to Eggo Lass): Attacks Eggo Lass: 17 to hit (flat roll since she knows it’s position), 8 slashing damage plus 1 necrotic damage on a hit. 

Xarkris stumbles to Salamander and kneels down next to him. He sorrowfully scans the lifeless body of the brave little goblin and puts his hand on Salamander's chest. Xarkris uses his last remaining Lay on Hands point to give 1hp to Salamander. Xarkris then rises, scans the room and readies himself for the last remaining threat. 

Xarkris brings the stable Salamander back to consciousness, as the final threat lurks somewhere within the vast room.

Everyone but Xarkris is still up! As a party, you should easily be able to defeat the skulk in a round, so good luck!

Salamander wakes up spurting. "Buh hub bubba bah." He shakes his head around rapidly before he squints to see Xarkris is the one who healed him. 'But we just met?' Something about this reminds him of his old buddy Graelor.

"I- uh. Thank you." He blinks sideways with that bird-like nictitating membrane. Then he goes to ravenously eat the 10 goodberries he had stored in his pocket. Although mushed, they were quite good.

Slowly standing up, his head spins, and he has to catch himself from falling onto the floor. "Wait! Agh." He still has to clutch his side which was still swollen. "Here." He gathers up some of his own magic and heals some of the dragonborn's still bleeding wounds, casting an sickly green glow from out of his hands. He recognizes that this is the best he can do for now because he has missed so much now and doesn't know where the last two (he still thinks there are two) are.

Looking up he also realizes his Hawk Spirit is no longer there, and so he sulks. He doesn't even bother trying hiding as much as he really can.
