Utar's next strike aims at the kobold facing him. The orc cracks the shield of his opponent and harms his arm beneath it. The Torminte than pivots and strikes Biscuit's foe, putting him out of his misery. (Kobold Shield-bearer#2 {F-13} takes 11 bludgeoning and radiant damage; Kobold Shield-bearer#3 {F-12} takes 8 bludgeoning damage. and is DEFEATED.)
When the kobold falls, Doozey sees an opportunity to tap into his blood curse. Harming himself lightly so his blood can flow (Doozey takes 2 necrotic damage), the halfling commands the dead kobold to persist for another few seconds, striking his kin.
-> Spear vs. Kobold Shield-bearer#2 {F-13}: Attack: 12 Damage: 6
(@Ori: I hope I am not missing anything here but {I-16} is 10ft away from where the wasps are at {H-14}, so that would be too far for Doozey to then attack them with his rapier. Given the nearby kobold is already dead, I'll simplify your movement here and reinterpret it as Doozey going to {I-13} instead. No opportunity attack triggered. Biscuit's movements are also being adjusted a bit but it should still work as intended.)
The dead kobold's last spear thrust finds only his brother's shield.
Neya teleports once more, this time to Doozey's side {H-15}. Her form is not even fully in place by the time she delivers a deadly strike to the nearby kobold. She follows it up with a kick, which only hits the creature's leather armor, but the result is the same in the end. The kobold falls. (Kobold Shield-bearer#1 {I-15} takes 8 bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)
Doozey then maneuvers around a bit {I-13} and skewers as many wasps as he can with his rapier. Given how complex a task that is, the hunter is only partially successful. (Swarm of Wasps {H-14} takes 10 piercing damage; advantage from Vex used in the second attack.)
Biscuit is ordered to go around and attack the wasps while running. He performs as commanded, though it is proven quite the impossible task to bring an entire warm of tiny flying insects to the ground in a single go. (Swarm of Wasps {H-14} takes 10 force damage but is notprone.)
The surviving shield-bearing kobold finally notices the writing on the walls. He jukes away from Raist and Utar and bounds for the exit {G-7}.
In the corner, the kobold spellcaster remains inert.
(@MB: There is only one target left by the time we get to your turn, so I'll reinterpret your spell as targeting the wasps. Also, I'm going with your original rolls of 24 and 15, as per OOC channel.)
(@Drache: I'm afraid there are no enemies left for you. I blame your allies! 😁You may keep that Ki/Focus point.)
Doozey is able to keep the wasps away by waving his hand rapidly.
Not wanting to have to deal with insects, of all things, Utaraims a spell at them and sends the whole remaining bunch to wasps-afterlife. (Swarm of Wasps {H-14} takes 15 radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Only the unconscious kobold remains, and he looks to be out for the count for the time being.
WE ARE NOW OUT OF INITIATIVE. YOU MAY DO AS YOU WILL.
After waving off the wasp and sparing a moment to look around and make sure no enemy remained standing, Doozey looked to the ceiling as let one big sigh of relief, only to then tense up a moment later. "Villie!" He exclaimed as rushed over to her cage. "You good? I-I mean, of course ya ain't! Well, s-sort of, o-obviously! Uhh.... I-I'm glad that--er, I-I mean, uhh... h-hold on, let me--uhh-..."The halfling started to give the cage a once over, but briefly stopped to say to the others, "I-I knocked out that one kobold in the corner there. Kind of weird looking up close, but, uhh, c-can one of ya, uhmm, tie'm up? Gag and blindfold'em too fer good measure. Least until we get everyone here sorted?"
By the time Boozey finishes speaking Biscuit had made his way over to help with the cage. And by help, it was actually more a case of the beast trying to sniff and lick Villonah through any cage bars after reverting to his fluffier appearance. At least until Boozey figured out how best to unlock the cage and free her. If it was obvious the contraption required a key he'd break away to start searching bodies for it.

"Doozey!" Villonah says. The transformed halfling notices many cuts and bruises on his gnomish ally, but they do not seem grave. She has been clearly stripped of her fighting and adventuring gear and been kept on minimal food and water. She looks weakened. "I am... alright. The kobolds are not good hosts, but I have not been here as long as some others." Looking around, Doozey notices six other prisoners, most of them humans who are clearly not experienced adventurers. The one exception is a half-elf in a cage right next to Villonah, who wears a cloak and sports sinewy muscles. When looking at the cages, Doozey notices that they all have a simple keyhole on them.
When Biscuit reverts to his fluffy form and approaches, Villonah can't help but crack a smile: "There you are!"She enjoys the show of affection from the mastiff, even if through bars, and then turns to Doozey once more "I would't mind seeing you in your original form either." A smile is still placed on her face.
While Doozey and Biscuit interact with Villonah, Raist and Neya interact with the fallen kobolds. From the dead kobolds, Raist collects a handful of mundane but useful items, should he choose to claim them: seven daggers, three shields, three spears, three suits of kobold-sized leather armor, and one sling with an accompanying set of twelve small and round rocks. From the inventor-type kobold, he additionally recovers a few strange contraptions that could be put to some use: one vial of alchemist's fire, a basket filled with a swarm of centipedes, and a clay pot containing a swarm of grubs. Finally, from the knocked out kobold, Raist retrieves and extra dagger and a simple iron key.
Neya spends sometime tying up the unconscious kobold.
Utar pauses, letting Doozey and Villanoah have their moment of reunion a moment longer. Once he feels that he can no longer put off the danger of their present situation, he interposes himself. "We're still in the belly of the beast. Firstly, is everyone alright, does anyone need any healing?" he pauses and waits for responses before beginning any triage processes.
With a bit of a start, Doozey looked up sharply from the lock he'd been study to Villonah, and tried to respond. But no matter how much he opened his mouth to speak, all he can manage for a time is nervous gibberish before briefly abandoning the effort in favor of clearing his throat into a raised fist. "Yeah, well, as much as I might, uhh, wish to oblige, I... sorta still need this form for a bit longer at least... But, I-I am glad that we got here in time. I don't know what I would done if-..."Doozey catches himself, and after looking a touch shocked at the near admission, awkwardly looked away.
Having satified his own worrying over Villonah for the moment, Biscuit started to gnaw at the bars to try and pry it open, but abandoned the effort almost immediately to limp/pad his way over to Utar for some healing. "Y-ya raise a good point, Utar. Only question is how we gonna get these folk outta here. 'cause I hate to say it, but I don't think there in much condition to leave the way we entered."Doozey conveyed. "There's plenty enough here to arm them though, and if we can at least get them some place defensible or... maybe if they can position those cages in the right place, they could-...." Doozey trailed off from there in seeing Raist with a key, and most eagerly stepped back to give the elf plenty of room. "Oh, uh! Villie this is, uh, Raist. A recent addition to the team, and, uhh... Actually, Raist? You wouldn't happen to got like a spell to get these folk outta here would'ja?" He'd say as much if not distracted.
Raist looks at the cages eyes glaze over for a minute.
"Unfortunately not all at once...I could do them one at a time but that would be quite......draining (slight wheeze) not to mention time consuming. His head cocks at Doozy
While Neya confirms the strength of her knot, Raist makes a pile of mundane armaments and strange knickknacks.
Biscuit is the only one to respond to Utar's offer, and waits for his healing patiently... at least at first. Looking around, Utar can tell that most prisoners here could use some healing, if not some more powerful magic to help them with their overall precarious health. This includes Villonah and the half-elf.
Villonah is freed when Raist tries the key. The key also works on the other cages, freeing all seven prisoners.
"Right," Villonah says as she composes herself and agrees with Doozey in prioritizing the situation instead of her silly request. Daggers are passed around, Villonah claims a spear, as does the half-elf, but he then seems to also collect and favor the sling and rocks, should CRAP make those available to him. "I am Sirge Wintermelt," he introduces himself. "I accompanied Villonah and her Gauntlet companions here, but I am afraid we are the only two surviving members of that expedition now." Sirge is not hiding his allegiances: his cloak is held in place by a pin shaped like a harp.
Villonah nods and speaks up: "If you clear a path, Sirge and I should still have enough strength in us to lead these villagers to safety, but I am afraid we wouldn't be of much more use in our current state." She pauses to see if CRAP agrees and asks: "Which way should we go?"
Utar laughs and ruffles his hand in Biscuit's fur. "I've got you, Biscuit," He casts cure wounds, restoring 8 to CRAP's beat pupper, "feel better?"
Delving into his pack, he pulls out some rations and looks to.the villagers, Silve and Villanoah. "These might take the edge off everyone's hunger, now does anyone need more attention?"
