The muscled lady yells something in the direction of the people at the statue's lap and then begins to climb the statue proper, taking advantage of its many edges and damages to get a good grip. The lady climbs with impressive athleticism and speed.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing what he saw by the lap of the statue and knowing that at best he'd be ignored or at worse the ruse may fall apart further, Doozey clicked his tongue before quickly scanning the battlefield. His eyes immediately lit up with alarm seeing Raist state, and without missing another beat, a sharp word in sylvan is all it took for Biscuit to refocus and begin racing towards the wizard.
'Gosh darn idjit! Why'd he stick around outside after blast'in'em!?!'Thought the frustrated halfling; who at some point in the rush over channeled some of his furry into a sling bullet shot for some random outlaw yet near the Grey's campsite. "We're too exposed out here. Back inside fer now."Doozey hardly waited for a response before grabbing the Raist with surprising strength and firmness; and though he knew it would be disorienting (and likely painful!), urged Biscuit to double time it back for the cave.
Yet just before the trio take off, Doozey looks to Utar and Neya and hiss in [draconic], if only to further throw off the greys in the process, "Fighting retreat. 'Boss' sharrak's crcs aughta be here shortly enough."

(OOC: Some of this resolution here follows clarifications in the OOC channel. )
After Neya announces to the group not to bother with the image of the nearby Beholder, Doozey sounds the retreat. He spurs Biscuit to move quickly toward Raist, grabbing the wizard on the go with one hand and launching a sling bullet with the other. Raist goes along with the maneuver, and the bullet manages to find its target despite it being partially covered. The hit is, however, nothing that the outlaw can't shrug off. (Veteran Outlaw#6 {AJ-55} takes 6 bludgeoning damage.)
Doozey does not stay behind to see the outlaw's reaction, though. The rider, mount, and willing passenger all move swiftly (though slower than if Doozey was Biscuit's only charge) into the nearest cave entrance.
Outside, Utar and Neya see the armored figure at the statue's lap move closer to the edge of the water {Z-42} and pull out a longbow. Visibility is not perfect due to the angle and the surrounding fog, but this person can still use some references for their shots. Using the Beholder as an initial guiding post, the creature then adjusts his aim a bit and lets loose three blind arrows in rapid succession. Each arrow is imbued with bright magic:
-> Longbow vs. Neya (dodge): Attack: 15 Damage: 37
-> Longbow vs. Neya (dodge): Attack: 29 Damage: 58
-> Longbow vs. Neya (dodge): Attack: 25 Damage: 30
Despite the blind shots, despite the fog and the sound of the waterfalls, despite Neya's best intent on remaining on her toes, despite the first shot being easily avoided by the monk, despite it all... Neya is hit by the next two arrows, one of which sinks dangerously close to her heart, and both of which discharge their powerful radiant energy onto the eldritch fighter's torso. Neya's vision goes bright white for a moment. (Neya takes 88 piercing and radiant damage.)
The shots encourage the outlaw group to release their next volley. Their targets are not easily spotted in these conditions, so they continue to resort to blind shots as well:
As expected, several of the lobbed arrows land harmlessly on the ground around Neya and Utar. Nonetheless, a few of them still find their lucky way onto the frame of the two warriors. Like a cruel reminder of the first salvo, Neya dodges one arrow just to be almost hit by two others. She instinctivelly traises a magical shield (reference). (Neya takes 11 piercing damage.)
Utar bats away one arrow with his shield and let's another ricochet away from his armor, but one projectile still finds a gap in his defenses. (Utar takes 9 piercing damage.)
Picking up on Doozey's instructions, Utar starts to book it towards the cave entrance, away from the arrows. He keeps his shield raised ahead of him, hopeing to deflect anything that might be incoming.
Move: Assume the cave is at R,62, so towards R,62, please let me reach the cave.
Reeling from the devastating attacks, some of her magical energy instictively raises up to block the other arrows heading her way. Her sense of self-preservation has suddenly gotten stronger.
Raising his shield,Utaradvances into the cave and catches up to Doozey, Biscuit, and Raist. The wizard is in the middle of proposing that the party takes refuge in a magical place of respite. Utar breathes for the first time in the last 6 or so seconds. (Utar gains 5 temp HP.)
The man guarding the isolated tent continues to puppeteer the air in front of him. On the ledge, the now translucent Beholder moves and snarls. It now hovers just outside the cave entrance.
If able to get a quick word out, all Doozey has to offer is... grim tidings. "Hah! Safe? They'll be on our asses well 'fore we reach that! So soften'em up if ya can, but keep yer darn head down after!" He bark out over any menacing noise made by the fakeolder. Which the halfling still wasn't sure about despite Neya's warning, but he'd tried to trust her all the same!
(OOC: I messed up the rolls above but don't want to risk editing them. The the first attack is supposed to be a straight roll and the second attack is supposed to have disadvantage because of Neya's dodge action. Still using the three d20s I rolled, the first attack roll is still a 24 to hit, and the second one is still a 15 to hit, so no changes there. However, the damage roll for the first attack is supposed to be only 6 this time. Also, to clarify, the second attack was also aimed at Neya, not at Raist.)
The first of two arrows finds its way past Neya's shield, the second plinks against the nearby rock wall. (Neya takes 6 piercing damage.)
While dealing with her most recent wounds, Neya hears the battle cries of kobolds coming from their camp beyond the King's statue.
In immense pain, porcupined with arrows, and bleeding heavily, Neya run-limps through the illusory beholder and tries to catch up with the rest of the party (dashing with Step of the Wind: Free Trial, if needed.)
Once inside she reports with labored breath, "Something... is happening... on the other side of the cliffs. From the... battle cries... the orcs... might have just arrived."
