When he's able to get off shot at the beast itself, Grigor holds his ground and takes careful aim at the creature. Hard to tell thought what's a sensitive part of the giant bug.
(It's a large target so no need for an attack roll on the rocks on the ceiling. The monster is focused on eating so it does not notice the party. Hitting the rocks will initiate a surprise round.)
K snaps her fingers, and a ball of crackling energy appears in her hand before she hurls the beam at a large stalactite above the creature, the same time Grigor takes a shot with his bow and arrow. She then quickly gets ready for combat, her spellbook clutched in her other hand. [Initiative for when needed: 2]
[K's action. And the initiative is 2. Maybe the notifications are acting up again? Though I thought you did take it into account in this post of yours]
(The act of bringing down the rocks does not count to the surprise round, it starts the round. It's like springing a trap, you can still attack the monster.)
(You are correct, I have both of your initiatives. This is the surprise round so I am waiting for actions before rolling initiative for the monster. I won't if it dies in the surprise round.)
[Oh! My apologies, I didn't realize that's what you're trying to get at. Never played with this mechanic before. Sorry for making you guys wait so long.]
After the stalactite hits the creature, K touches her thumb to her pinky, and a frigid energy emits from her hand. She hurls it at the dead eater, and the blue-white light streaks towards it. [Ray of Frost - To hit: 10, damage if hits: 7 cold and its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of K's next turn]
Pushover, hoping that the rocks pin or at least addle the carrion crawler's movement, will cast create bonfire underneath it. It must succeed a DC 14 Dex Save or take 6 fire damage.

Grigor is not keen to get close to the gross, giant bug, but he doesn't say so out loud because it feels insensitive to one of his teammates. "That could have gone much worse. Hope there aren't more of those in here." there probably were.
"Thank you unknown Kobold. Your death wasn't in vain."
It was a good idea to trap the Crawler with the statlite, or else they wouldn't have been able to take care of it as quickly as they did. K turns to the goblin wizard. "Alright, now that we've taken care of the dead eater, you'd let us pass deeper into the tunnels, right? And you can also come and find your dwarf friend Caerhan now."I just hope that dwarf, or that sergeant, isn't dead, K thinks to herself. There's a bit too much danger lurking down here.

Both Grigs arrow and K's bolt strikes the stalactites, bringing down the rock upon the beast. It lets out a high pitched hiss as the rocks fall on it.
Dex Save for Carrion Crawler, 2 vs 12. On fail take full 17, half on pass.
Surprise Round Start
When Ja'Dul's turn comes up he will Mark the beastie for death then slash and poke the thing with his blades.

[Ah, I see. Well, initiative for K is still a 2. And I think Pushover’s initiative has been rolled earlier.]

And with a single poke, the carrion crawler collapses, giving a last hiss as it spasms on the floor for moment before going still.
Combat Over
(Was just three short of killing it in the surprise round. And sorry for wait, forgot to change card for DDB sub.)
