"Captain" says Leb to Hrain. " They are going to keep coming and sooner or later we will be exhausted and they will be fresh. I suggest we retreat, we can still could try to go to our first objective... " she says trying not to give away any of their plans in front of the still leaving enemy.
Ears ringing and still spaced out from the thunder wave spell Hrain sees the last cultist destroyed, as he lays on the floor he hears Leb suggest a retreat.
"It is clear there is nobody left to protect here, let's go, we should still try and get to our original target. What do you propose we do with that one though, capture or kill?" he asks pointing at the detainee.

Haldur wipes a globule of blood from his brow with the back of his hand as he hurries to Hrain's side. Casting a quick glance back at the stairway leading up, the mercenary turns back to the Shepherd paladin and addresses him.
"Yes sir, that would be my suggestion as well; we have done all we can here, and a wise warrior knows when to save the fight until another day."
The sellsword shoots the detainee a fast look, an odd mixture of contempt and pity in his brown eyes. "As for this one, I say we decide their fate in a safer environment. For now, we need to concentrate on getting out of here and keeping them," A brusque wave of dismissal toward the doorway, "off of our backs."
Turning back to look at the doorway, the spark of an idea begins to take fire in the warrior's mind.
"If we could stall them somehow, or even stop their passage through this room, that could buy us some much needed time." Haldur throws his gaze around at the people near enough to hear him. "Does anyone have anything they can do to that doorway?" He asks, pointing again toward the stairway leading up. "Collapse it, seal it, anything? Or... I suppose, we might be able to try and jam one of those massive tables against the threshold. Wouldn't be a permanent solution but it might bottle-neck them and slow them down a bit." The expression on the young warrior's face shows his uncertainty, but the wheels of his mind were turning against the ticking clock of the group's shared peril.
"Those macabre things look too heavy for me to move alone though. If anyone is feeling particularly able-bodied I could use some assistance, but we have to hurry! If we can't get it quickly, I say we abandon the idea and just put as much distance between us and them as possible."
Just in case someone assists in the moving of the table, I'll go ahead and make an Athletics Check so we don't have to wait for me to respond with just a roll. Figure it should help keep things moving with time being a factor and all.
