The javelin hits Fenric's side, and he lets out a small grunt of pain. "No need Zephyr, it's nothing too serious." Fenric commands his mount drive through to the middle of the battlefield, and strikes at the lizardfolk closest to his allies.
Lyra urges her reptilian mount forward, circling south as Fenric circles north, allowing YugJug to strafe lizardfolk 3 with his sling as they pass close, but otherwise leaving lizardfolk 3 for Kromus or Rydairwyn to finish off as they see fit (she points them at the foe).
As she nears Vintu, who is atop a giant lizard along with lizardfolk 1, she raises the dark harmonica to her lips, but something seems to come over her. Something that the others would have seen once before back at their campsite at dawn when fighting the owlbears. Her warm brown irises flash to inky black, the darkness persisting and gradually starting to leak out to her sclera, transforming Lyra's eyes into gaping shadowy pits.
Once again, a thin tendril of darkness wafts forth from Lyra'sdark harmonica, questing out like the arm of a sea anemone swaying in unseen gentle currents, affixing itself to Vintu's forehead. Ever so gently. (Flavor for Lyra'sHexblade's Curse, range 30').
The two jet back beams of Eldritch energy that shoot forth from her outstretched hand seek different targets. The first at lizardfolk 1 and the second, with seeming greater force, at Vintu, the beams seeking to knock each foe from their shared mount. She then trots her mount south behind cover.

Zephyr whoops and hollers as Fenricencourages the Giant Lizard to Dash closer to Vintu and the other lizardfolk. "Woo hoo! Let's get 'em!" But then he starts to fiddle with his Arcane Rod and his All-Purpose Tool so that he's ready once they're in range. After Fenric stops the lizard so that he can fire his bow, Zephyr stands up to a crouch on the back of the Giant Lizard and then flutters his wings, lifting off into the air. As soon as he's clear of Fenric's head, Zephyr aims his Arcane Rod and fires a pellet as he did in their last fight. The pellet streaks toward a spot at the back of the group of lizardfolk and explodes into a mass of sticky webs, anchored to the Giant Lizards and to the surrounding vegetation.
Once he casts his spell, Zephyr flies up and to the west side of a tree, trying to stay out of sight of Vintu and to get some cover from as many lizardfolk as he can.
Movement: 15-ft to dismount the giant lizard, lifting off and flying 15-ft to get to the west side of the nearest tree and as high as he can. (From my understanding of the Giant Lizard's movement, I think that it's 10-ft west and 5-ft north while increasing to an altitude of +15-ft.) Altitude: +15 ft Action: Action: Cast spell (LVL 2 slot) Web, Sticky webbing fills a 20-ft cube. The cube should be positioned so that it covers half of GL4 and GL7 and all of GL6 (if I'm reading the token text correctly). If you try to position a 20-ft square AOE, I think that you'll see what I mean. Each creature that starts its turn in the webs or that enters them on its turn must succeed on a DC 16 DEX saving throw or be restrained by the webs. A stuck creature can use its action to make a DC 16 STR check, and if it succeeds, it is no longer restrained. The webbing is difficult terrain and lightly obscure their area. Free Action: Talking

Vintu, recovering from the experience of being thrown off the lizard gets up and begins a chant with a wave of his arms. As he chants a dark cloud begins to appear over the forest. He then points a finger towards Fenric as a bolt of lightning comes down from the sky.

After calling down the lightning he takes a moment as his form becomes even more lizardlike, morphing once more into the tough lizard the party saw before and lumbers towards the party.
Following that burst into battle the other riders begin swooping into the battlefield, racing in on dashing mounts. Although LF4, with his mount still caught in the web, jumps off to make his way into the fray on foot. They attack the party with a mix of javelins, clubs, spiked shields, and their own jaws.

Zephyr peeks out from the tree and almost gets skewered by the first javelin, ducking back just in time! The other attempts to hit him are hampered by the combination of the tree and the long range. As she sways slightly atop the giant lizard she rides, avoiding the attacks against her (narrowly in one case), Lyra gives no facial cue that she notices the vicious blows taken by YugJug just behind her. Her eyes remain shadowy pits, the white of her sclera now gone along with her brown irises. The dark anemone-like ephemeral tendril of Eldritch connection wafts slightly as if in unseen currents, linking her to Vintu (Hexblade's Curse).
When her mouth opens, it too seems more suffused with inky blackness than natural. A voice is less melodious than Lyra's emerges, more evocative of the deep grating quork of a large black bird as she stares down the transformed lizardfolk shaman. Yet her words are musing, not hostile.
"So strange, mortals are. Lives more brittle than the flutter of a moth's wings. Yet like moths, you throw away such little gifts as you have been granted. For what? Erratically chasing after the false flame of gold? Glory? Liqueur? How utterly do you fail to perceive the SAVOR of your mortal life force. In the end, it matters not whether you fly towards the light or away, little moths. The shadowlands await, ever patient, yet famished."
Nevertheless, Lyra's actions seem her own. With small movements, she urges her giant lizard mount to extricate itself from melee and step north, then northwest to position Zephyr's ingenious Protector Cannon in range of Fenric and his mount, as well as the YugJug of course.
Lyra herself, not breaking her gaze towards Vintu, raises the odd musical pipes that Zephyr had given her to her lips, producing a bone-chilling dissonance.
Giant LIzard C's Action and Movement: Disengage and move 5' N, then 10' NE.
Lyra's Action: (After her mount's movement is finished) Lyra uses one charge of her Pipes of Haunting. She protects non-hostile creatures, including all of her companions, their mounts, YugJug, Rydairwain and his mount from being affected. All others within 30', lizardfolk and their mounts alike, make a DC15 WIS Save of be frightened of Lyra, repeating the save at the end of subsequent turns to remove the effect (immune thereafter).
Should affect 9 targets within 30' of Lyra's ending position: Lizardfolk 1, 5, 6, 8, their respective mounts and Vintu.
When dark clouds suddenly form overhead and lightning flashes down at Fenric, Zephyr realizes that must break Vintu's concentration. (Hiding behind a tree doesn't help much if the tree get hit by lightning!) He flits out from behind the tree and says, "Focus fire on the druid!" Just as Lyrabegins playing an eerie tune on the flute he made for her, Zephyr waves his arcane rod toward the Protector Eldritch Cannon, causing it to send out a pulse of fortifying magical energy and to fill the air for 10-ft around YugJug with the sweet smell of honeysuckles.
Then Zephyr takes aim at Vintu and fires a blue ray of freezing cold from his arcane rod toward the druid/lizard. Finally, he continues flying farther away to take cover from the lizardfolk bandits behind another tree.
Movement: Flying 30-ft. 2 squares SW to get a clear shot at Vintu. 3 squares W and possibly 1 square south. He wants to end his turn next to the tree by the riderless Giant Lizard, getting as much cover from LF5 and LF8 as possible even if that leaves him more exposed to LF1. Altitude: 15-ft (no change) Bonus Action: trigger the Protector Eldritch Cannon. The cannon and all allies within 10-ft gain 10Temporary Hit Points if they do not already have more THP than that. That should include YugJug, Fenric, and Fenric's mount. Action: Cast spell Ray of Frost, 20, Damage: 17 (cold), includes extra 1d8 damage from Arcane Firearm. Zephyr peeks out from the tree and almost gets skewered by the first javelin, ducking back just in time! The other attempts to hit him are hampered by the combination of the tree and the long range. As the other javelins fall short, he peeks from the tree again and studies the battle, considering his next move.

Rider 6's turn goes as stated; he attacked Zephyr (missed)
Rider 7's turn needs to be updated. With rider restrained he's not gonna want to let his mount get away from under him. (Mount needs to make a DEX Save at the start of its next turn)
LF5's club and spiked shield both hit YugJug, thank goodness for the commoner he had 12 temp hp from the protector cannon

As she sways slightly atop the giant lizard she rides, avoiding the attacks against her (narrowly in one case), Lyra gives no facial cue that she notices the vicious blows taken by YugJug just behind her. Her eyes remain shadowy pits, the white of her sclera now gone along with her brown irises. The dark anemone-like ephemeral tendril of Eldritch connection wafts slightly as if in unseen currents, linking her to Vintu (Hexblade's Curse).
When her mouth opens, it too seems more suffused with inky blackness than natural. A voice is less melodious than Lyra's emerges, more evocative of the deep grating quork of a large black bird as she stares down the transformed lizardfolk shaman. Yet her words are musing, not hostile.
"So strange, mortals are. Lives more brittle than the flutter of a moth's wings. Yet like moths, you throw away such little gifts as you have been granted. For what? Erratically chasing after the false flame of gold? Glory? Liqueur? How utterly do you fail to perceive the SAVOR of your mortal life force. In the end, it matters not whether you fly towards the light or away, little moths. The shadowlands await, ever patient, yet famished."
Nevertheless, Lyra's actions seem her own. With small movements, she urges her giant lizard mount to extricate itself from melee and step north, then northwest to position Zephyr's ingenious Protector Cannon in range of Fenric and his mount, as well as the YugJug of course.
Lyra herself, not breaking her gaze towards Vintu, raises the odd musical pipes that Zephyr had given her to her lips, producing a bone-chilling dissonance.
Giant LIzard C's Action and Movement: Disengage and move 5' N, then 10' NE.
Lyra's Action: (After her mount's movement is finished) Lyra uses one charge of her Pipes of Haunting. She protects non-hostile creatures, including all of her companions, their mounts, YugJug, Rydairwain and his mount from being affected. All others within 30', lizardfolk and their mounts alike, make a DC15 WIS Save of be frightened of Lyra, repeating the save at the end of subsequent turns to remove the effect (immune thereafter).
Should affect 9 targets within 30' of Lyra's ending position: Lizardfolk 1, 5, 6, 8, their respective mounts and Vintu.

Round 2: Zephyr
When dark clouds suddenly form overhead and lightning flashes down at Fenric, Zephyr realizes that must break Vintu's concentration. (Hiding behind a tree doesn't help much if the tree get hit by lightning!) He flits out from behind the tree and says, "Focus fire on the druid!" Just as Lyra begins playing an eerie tune on the flute he made for her, Zephyr waves his arcane rod toward the Protector Eldritch Cannon, causing it to send out a pulse of fortifying magical energy and to fill the air for 10-ft around YugJug with the sweet smell of honeysuckles.
Then Zephyr takes aim at Vintu and fires a blue ray of freezing cold from his arcane rod toward the druid/lizard. Finally, he continues flying farther away to take cover from the lizardfolk bandits behind another tree.
Movement: Flying 30-ft. 2 squares SW to get a clear shot at Vintu. 3 squares W and possibly 1 square south. He wants to end his turn next to the tree by the riderless Giant Lizard, getting as much cover from LF5 and LF8 as possible even if that leaves him more exposed to LF1.
Altitude: 15-ft (no change)
Bonus Action: trigger the Protector Eldritch Cannon. The cannon and all allies within 10-ft gain 10 Temporary Hit Points if they do not already have more THP than that.
That should include YugJug, Fenric, and Fenric's mount.
Action: Cast spell Ray of Frost, 20, Damage: 17 (cold), includes extra 1d8 damage from Arcane Firearm.
On a hit, the target's speed is also reduced by 10 ft until the start of Zephyr's next turn (no saving throw).
