“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Eya shakes her head and shrugs off the incessant croaking. She points her crossbow at some of the frog mooks to try and eliminate them before they croak again.
The hounds do their best to resist the croaks, but only one is able to fully shrug off the effects. The two lunge at some of the weaker frogmen.
Just trying to clear some of the ones that haven't croaked yet out before they do.

Kiven winces as the echoing croaks rattle him a bit. Now more determined to take these frog men down faster he tries to focus and mutters another word in elven, calling upon one of the various enchantments now on his bow to help guide his aim and overcome the sudden pounding in his head. The elf unleashes one arrow all the while whispering more commands to his bow, the resulting conjured arrow being made of pure ice and aimed at the leader once again.

Eya and her hounds savage one of the boggards, badly wounding it. Grumblejack finishes it off with a hammer blow.
Respar sinks his blade into the leader's side as Abraxxus swings his axe and lops off one of the arms, causing the greatsword to fall to the ground. Kiven finishes the thing off with an icy arrow plunging into the boggard leader's side.
The remaining boggards look to the fallen pair, and then with fearful croaking beat a hasty retreat, shoving each other in their escape through the passage to the west. The sound of croaking increases in the direction that the remaining foes had fled.
boggards took the withdraw action, so no, no AOOs I'm afraid.

Blau moves with the group, using his meager knowledge of stone work to help with locating any possible deadfalls or traps, as well as keeping a sharp eye out for any other issues. "We don't have any better direction to go, do we? "

Abraxxus walks along gritting his teeth. Blood runs down his side which he ignores as best he can. He still has his axe at the ready and moves as quietly as possible.
Kiven checks on Calarel and praises her for staying relatively calm and firing off an arrow. He stays near the rear with her and watches the group's behind.
Eya sees Abraxxus try to ignore the pain and pulls out a wand. "Here, stay still," she says to him. "This will burn a little, though that may not bother you, but it will mend those wounds quickly."
She presses the wand to his scales and mutters a spell in Infernal. Darkness begins to mend his wounds as the burning sensation sits in.
Will use Infernal Healing on Abraxxus twice if I can to heal him up for 20 HP over a couple minutes.
Abraxxus nods and watches her work. The burning sensation doesn't bother him as he watches his wound heal up. " Thank you Eya. Good as new. " He chuckles darkly.
The group presses on west, after the fleeing boggards. They find themselves in the middle of a boggard village, with frog like humanoids hiding in and around huts, staring at you all with naked fear.
One figure alone stands to face you, a particularly wiry boggard in a loincloth, with intricate markings all over his body. His eyes are slightly vacant as he holds a crude wooden staff and shakes it vigorously, causing the fish skulls attached to it to rattle. He emits a string of croaks and pops to the other boggards, before pointing the staff at you, proceeding to slowly hop up and down on one foot in time with his words, which he seems to struggle to get out of his oddly shaped mouth.
"Kumanda Slays Nine Men killed. You kill him. Hail the Father. He this foretold. Trouble time come soon. Many Bane-Wog fall, but at end temple to father great again. You here do this?"
Kiven steps forward and studies the interesting boggard along with their habitat. Taking what meaning he can from the statement about what has been foretold he looks to Eya with a thoughtful nod.
Eya blinks twice at Kiven, turns to face the rest of the party for a brief moment in surprise, then turns back to the boggard Shaman, "Yes, it is as was foretold. Hail the father."
The Shaman starts nodding furiously, "It good, it good. Kumanda stupid. Kumanda bad leader. You have things, you have wives." He gesticulates towards a hut that is a little larger than the rest, A pair of boggards look at you timidly from within. Kiven can also see a faint trace of magic from in there.
"What need to make temple great? Zikomo and Bane Wog help if can."
"Yes, we will make this temple great again," Eya says to the shaman. "I must deliberate with my fellow heralds about something."
Eya turns to the party and says in a message to all of them, "Okay so, I think this is our chance to take out treebeard back there. He thinks we are clearing out the toads, and will expect results. But he will lead more goodie goodies to this place if we leave him alive. And he also expects us to stay on the first floor and not continue up the Horn as well. We have several advantages right now too. I know a lot about his kind. He's a treant and is very vulnerable to fire and slashing attacks. Other attacks won't be as effective. Also, since we lured him away from his forest, he won't be able to animate other treant allies. This is the perfect chance to take him out and we might be able to get help from the toadmen. Just watch out for his reach, he has a very wide arc due to his size. But if we can start the fight close, perhaps by delivering the big frog we killed as proof to him before surprising with my hounds. What do you all think?"
Blau grunts as the message details the opponent he was bothered by. In reply he says "Sounds like an excellent way to take out that tall woodwind, and if he is vulnerable to fire, I think Father's Asmodeus will be a great help in defeating him. Let's set this up with these frog-men, and then Kiven can take care of the wives he's won."

"I shall refrain on the wives, but if any wish to claim one, I can loan my circlet such that one can be Tiadora, if you so desire" he adds with a smirk, glancing at Abraxxus.
