Ingus & Monitor Lizard - unseen and concentrating on Hunter's Mark;
NOTE: All foes, including pets and summons, are benefiting from Holy Aura (counter: 7). Please keep track of your summons (Riding Horse, Firemane Angel). Most enemy preparations are tracked above this time around.
"Let see what tune you will sing now" she'll cast Feeblemind on Xavier 20 psyhic damage and INT DC:19 on fail Xavier cha and int become 1 and can't use spells.
She'll then ride around the enemy backline trying to find there gun shooter. (dunno if 60 feet blindsight or 10 feet see invisibilty helps with this)
Sparklegem simply recasts Mirror Image and runs to {CF29}. In doing so, he opens himself up to an opportunity attack from the opposing barbarian, Selrahc.
(@Superbad: If you want to use your reaction to attack, I’m inclined to use the preemptive attack roll you already posted. Let me know if you want to use your reaction this way.)
Selrahc swings his maul as the gnome runs away from him, but he misses his target (reference).
Boomshakala steps bit forward and launches another Fireball. This time, he aims for the spot right behind Xavier {BQ27}, engulfing some friends in the process:
-> DEX saving throws {DC 19}:
Xavier: 29
Yessaris: 19
Attorney: 2
Xavier and Yessaris manage to tuck and roll in place (each taking 19 fire damage). The construct is less reactive (Attorney takes 38 fire damage).
Boomshakala proud golden wings spread out (was that just flavor?)
Spending a Luck Point(1 of 3 remaining) vs Bearn's Attack On Yessaris: 19.
(Did the whole attack string over for brevity. But if unable to use Luck due to lateness, here's the Bless roll that even I forget about from Tupoc to that conc. save: 1.)
It took a moment for the pain of a crossbow bolt to truly register in Yessaris mind. So in a stroke of luck, he spins around to look, conveniently avoiding the axe in the process. "... Are you serious right now?" He questions, but his gaze has already shifted back to Milo, searching now for the secret of the wee man's ring and crossbow from last time.
Yessaris' Turn(Officially):
Whether he finds understanding or not, Yessaris gives Baern one last passing glance, then Milo, and then finally the angel. The last however is a more meaningful eyebrow raise as if to say 'Well? Get on with it then?' prior to finally calling something into his peculiar gaunlets. "Release all Restraint." He commands just as a surge of adrenaline, magic, and some strange cocktail of medicine started flooding into his system from throughout the armor.
Growling almost ferally, he turns back upon Xavier, bringing the axe down in wide swing bard. If a second later he receives the 'blessing' of an axe to the back, or another close call enough, he sends Attorney over to attack Milo. But if there is none in the intervening moments, Xavier becomes the prey.
Yessaris aims at getting an advantage on the quickly surrounding enemies via Haste. Even before Otiluke's Resilient Sphere fully disappears, Baern is already swinging his axe:
-> Over-sized Greataxe vs. Yessaris: Attack: 11Damage: 59 magical slashing (I forgot disadvantage for Compelled Duel, here's a roll for it: 25).
The yuan-ti surprises the dwarf with his reaction speed. Baern clearly does not enjoy the fact that he has missed two attacks in a row.
Yessaris then swings his own axe at Xavier, giving his triceps a small cut (Xavier takes 10 slashing damage). Attorney follows his master's lead and attempts to bite the bard, but he weaves out of the way.
Encased in an invisible cell, Mumed's options are limited. He reaches forward, finding Tupoc in the same place where he was previously. Touching some fabric, he tries to mark the Couatl-hybrid:
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the man reaches out, Tupoc slaps the hand away and responds with a jab (Mage Slayer). He focuses a blast of Ki into the blow in an attempt to stop the man from taking the rest of his turn (Stunning Strike)
Reaction Attack (before Sanctuary goes up): Attack: 14 Damage: 12, DC 19 Con Saving Throw or become Stunned.
Tupoc then unleashes another Flurry of Blows on the Cleric, smiling as he continues to gain the upper hand.
Note: A couple of things are reliant on the outcome of the above Stunning Strike (Holy Aura concentration, Sanctuary casting). As such, this is going to be a bit messy. If clarification is needed, just give me a shout)
While not the most learned of the group(or at least no longer in his current form!), Abe still looks to Mumed, hoping if it comes to it to it, better be prepared to deal with his fellow Cleric.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
Tupoc tries to sneak a jab at Mumed in between the castings of the cleric's spells. However, Mumed is flailing his whip back and forth, which prevents the monk from landing what would otherwise have been a clean shot.
(OOC: Now that you know plenty about Mumed, I can be more direct about this. He is using his reaction to activate the Defensive Duelist feat. This temporarily boosts his AC against Tupoc's reaction attack, forcing it to miss.)
Abe tries to study Mumed's whip as he moves it around, but can't quite yet come to a conclusion.
(@Hydra: These are not going to change any outcomes, but here are Bless rolls for the Sanctuary rolls on your behalf, in order: 3, 1, 2, 2. Take a look at the spoiler box below to see if you agree with the summary of the final rolls.)
First WIS save: 35, Attack roll (no advantage): 27, Magical bludgeoning damage roll: 13;
Second WIS save: 17, Attack roll (no advantage): 17, Magical bludgeoning damage roll: 13;
Third WIS save: 23, Attack roll (no advantage): 26, Magical bludgeoning damage roll: 12;
Fourth WIS save: 34, Attack roll (no advantage): 21, Magical bludgeoning damage roll: 12;
What follows next is a trade of invisible flying fists and tower shield thrusts. Tupoc jabs, hitting the cleric's nose (Mumed takes 13 magical bludgeoning damage).
-> Mumed's concentration check {DC 10; straight roll because of Holy Aura and Mage Slayer feat}: 15
The second punch is cocked, but Tupoc hesitates. The other fist forms into an uppercut for the third attempt. It catches Mumed by surprise (Mumed takes 12 magical bludgeoning damage).
-> Mumed's concentration check {DC 10; straight roll because of Holy Aura and Mage Slayer feat}: 10
A fourth punch is aimed at Mumed's ribs, but the shield rises to match it before Tupoc can fully extend his arm.
Arcana into Mumed(DC 17):7. (Already accounted in last post.)
Determined to see a chink in the other cleric's armor, Abe rubs his eyes and squints hard at the man once more... But again is rebuffed.
Remembering the increasingly dire straits Yessaris sees himself in, Abe moves a ways and flashes through a set of one handed seals, all while intoning, "Oh Uncle, who art thou' lives in the beyond, hear this nephew's prayer's, and provide succor for the lost in our time of turmoil." The final seal he follows by slapping the ground, causing cracks of light to spread throughout the area and headed straight for... Sparklegem!
Or at least right behind him! Roaring in the mind of many it appears in a flash of light is deep blue and golden form of a true coautl. "Ten Thousand YEARS.... can give you such a crick in the neck!"He bellows as it twists about in the air trying to pop joints. "But... you're form is serpentine."Abe calls out, earning an immediate glare from the coautl. ".... Whipper Snapper, ya better have a good reason for calling me."He says in a more grandfatherly voice. "Right... yes, uhm... We could use some help evening the pla--"
"Remmy! Is that you? We missed you back at the game! Is this where ya been this whole time? Terrible decor! And is... is that a dead dragon over there?" He asks, staring off at a wall while rubbing his chin with the tip of a golden feathered tail. "UNCLE!" Abe cuts in, blushing deeply. "Oh fine, fine, fine, whatever... Kids these days." Muku clicks his tongue. "Don't expect much, boy. I prefer fairness... Which lucky for you, even these numbers might not be enough for that."He adds, cackling and hacking on the spot. "Just... just can you do something about Mr. Milo? The halfling?" Muku just gives a deadpanned look. "I'm... I'm just gonna be over here then." Muku flashes another toothy grin.
"Stop calling me Remmy!"If Remliel's hair wasn't already on fire, it certainly bursts into angelic flames seeing Baern ignore her challenge yet again! "And you! Are you jesting with me, Doll of Mouradin!? Have you not the strength of will and arms to face me?! You.... You will pay dearly for this twice made affront!" She shouts as flew forth aiming to cut Baern down in a quick few strikes, then rise once again before moving off to the side.
Movement: Fly to BR-25 and 15ft down.
Action: Multi-Attack Longsword #1 Longsword(Two-Handed) Vs Bearn Attack: 29 For: 13 slashing damage plus 17 radiant damage. #2 Longsword(Two-Handed) Vs Bearn Attack: 28 For: 10 slashing damage plus 28 radiant damage. (Flat Rolls Due to Reckless Attack & Holy Aura)
Movement(Remliel remaining): To BP-27, hovering 10ft over the pit(not that it matters for some. >.>)
Muku's Turn(?):
Muku grins toothily as he tries to coil about the halfling. "Yo! Sucka Chump! Stop getting lit up so much, son! Yer make'n all Yuan-Ti look bad!" Muku calls out, yet some semblance of magic is laced behind the words, because a veil of magic surrounds Yessaris. But after, if coiled up about Milo, he starts flying straight up.
Action: Constrict Vs Milo Attack: 22 Damage: 11 of magical bludgeoning, and if hit, target is grappled and restrained(DC 15) to escape.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@Ori: I believe Conjure Celestial is one of those spells where the the DM gets to choose the actual creature summoned. That said, there are only two creatures that fulfill the spell's requirements if cast at base level. So, we'll go ahead with the Couatl, but know that next time you use this spell, you'll get a Pegasus instead. Please don't abuse this knowledge.)
Abe keeps inviting more people to the party. This time he calls his too-cool-for-school uncle... His previous guest, Remliel, yells at Baern and slashes the dwarf before retreating again. Each is followed by a flash of light and a grunt of pain (Baern takes a combined 56 magical slashing and radiant damage).
(@Ori: I see you added the roll just before I did. We'll go with your roll. Muku's attack is also subject to Holy Aura's disadvantage. Here's a second attack roll on your behalf: 17. Also, so initiative roll required.)
Meanwhile, Muku tries to embrace Milo, but the halfling slips out of the way. Muku still finds time to protect Yessaris with a mantle of Sanctuary.
(@Superbad: Your advantage is canceled by Holy Aura. We’ll use first rolls, though in this case that’s what you used anyway...)
Selrahc continues to pummel Sparklegem, hitting him two times (see edit below; Sparklegems takes 52 magical bludgeoning damage).
-> Sparklegem’s concentration check {DC 14}: 20-> Sparklegem’s concentration check {DC 13}: 11-> Sparklegem’s concentration check {DC 13}: 25Edit: Mirror Image rolls: 17, 13
-> The first two attacks aim for and hit images instead. Sparklegem has run out of images.
(Ingus will go next.)
Ingus follows Milo’s lead. He recasts the Mark of the Hunter on Yessaris and shoots him twice:
-> Pistol vs. Yessaris: Attack: 28
Damage: 42 piercing.-> Pistol vs. Yessaris: Attack: 23
Damage: 27 piercing.Edit: These attacks were not supposed to be rolled with advantage. They both miss.
None of the bullets finds their target.

Jartrin Ephok - Dragonborn - Zanoliv
Bunol - Grim Angel - The Floating Lands of Goriate

Xavier begins to drool (Xavier takes 20 psychic damage).
Nox the rides toward and along the eastern wall of the chamber, eventually pinpointing Ingus’ location by the northeastern corner but beyond the wall.
-> Nox is now at {BS33}.
(Sparklegem is next up).
(Boomshakala is next up).
The Dragonborn once more emerges from the rear of the fight but does not see his normal target of Sparklegem.
He scans the battlefield where his eyes land on Xavier.
Movement: CB,19

Fireball: 38
Bonus Action: Golden Dragon wings emerge from Boom's back.

Baern finishes his movement to {BS 26} with the help of a dash. The barbarian the performs one single Reckless Attack on Yessaris:

Damage: 33 magical slashing.Edit: In a stroke of luck, the yuan-ti is just nearly missed but the axe swing (reference)
(Yessaris takes 33 fire damage).-> Yessaris' concentration check {DC 16}: 13 (no advantage due to Mage Slayer).As the Otiluke's Resilient Sphere fades, Baern grins.-> End-of-turn INT saving throw vs. Synaptic Static {DC 19}: 10
(Yessaris is up next.)
Spending a Luck Point(1 of 3 remaining) vs Bearn's Attack On Yessaris: 19.
(Did the whole attack string over for brevity. But if unable to use Luck due to lateness, here's the Bless roll that even I forget about from Tupoc to that conc. save: 1.)
Reaction(During Bearn's Turn):
Arcana vs Milo(DC 17): 22.
It took a moment for the pain of a crossbow bolt to truly register in Yessaris mind. So in a stroke of luck, he spins around to look, conveniently avoiding the axe in the process. "... If hit, Arcane Jolt(2 of 4 remaining) to heal Attorney for 10 HP.

While still being attacked from multiple fronts, Yessaris takes a closer look at Milo's belongings:
(I'll resolve Yessaris' propper turn next)
Yessaris aims at getting an advantage on the quickly surrounding enemies via Haste. Even before Otiluke's Resilient Sphere fully disappears, Baern is already swinging his axe:

(Mumed is next).
Encased in an invisible cell, Mumed's options are limited. He reaches forward, finding Tupoc in the same place where he was previously. Touching some fabric, he tries to mark the Couatl-hybrid:
-> Tupoc's DEX saving throw vs. Light {DC 19}: 26
His attempt failed, Mumed tries to enhance his defenses by raising another layer of Sanctuary layer on himself.
(Tupoc is next up).
As the man reaches out, Tupoc slaps the hand away and responds with a jab (Mage Slayer). He focuses a blast of Ki into the blow in an attempt to stop the man from taking the rest of his turn (Stunning Strike)
