Toblen to Dirk: Don't push your luck, if they give you too much, they'll stop buying drinks!
Az Emberi, Hymir and Fjolnir finish their business and go collect Absinthe at the temple, (Which we will retro the conversation) and all head to the provisions shop with the wagon. Ah, yes, thank you. Ander, Thistle, let's just wheel it in the back and lock up. We can stock it all tomorrow. Thank you all again. He gives you each 10 gold, and realizes you're still short one member. Ah, did you lose one? Sorry, just, here. He gives you the last 10 gold for Dirk. I trust you'll get it to him.
Garaele to Absinthe: I just got back in town, actually, I was chased by something and had to run. I'm fine, though. Actually, you could help me. The people you came with, and yourself, lookable-bodied, and can probably withstand most of the dangers of the wilderness. I didn't fare so well.
See, I was tasked by my superiors to find the fate of a certain wizard's spellbook, that went by Bowgentle. I know of a Banshee named Agatha who I have a good feeling knows about the wizard Bowgentle, and last we knew, had possession of his book. I think if you bring Agatha a suitable gift, she produces a jeweled silver comb and hands it to Absinthe, you could persuade the creature to tell what she knows about the spellbook. I believe that if you flatter Agatha’s vanity, you might be able to trade the comb for an answer. I wasn't able to find anything, but if you are successful, I can offer youpotions of healingas payment for your efforts. If you are willing to help me, I'll give you the location of her lair.
After the conversation, you are swept up by the rest of the gang to return the cart, then head to the Inn to relax for the night.
Any RP and discussion can be had now about plans, things you want to do, etc. Once you're done, the long rest happens that we technically already did, and I'll call for what you want to do in the morning.
So I was actually waiting to post this thing about wizzards when we got to the tavern before I read about this potential quest keep that in mind.
hey guys I'm really proud of us we got taken off guard a few times but I think we really found our grove. I think we can work more on strategy and combos as we go I'm sure they will form organically but one thing I want to talk about is if we come across a wizard I request that under no circumstance do we kill him until I can question them, it is very important to me to get my hands on any materials he uses for spells and more importantly his spell book. Then after that I dont care but until I get that spell book ALL WIZARDS MUST BE LEFT ALIVE. It is my only request that I ask.
I then catch up and hear the information about the wizard and the spellbook
My eyes widen "yes that, let's do that. I want to stick with you all so I'll go wherever but that task sounds like it has a vast potential for reward not just for me but for all of us."
I also mention all of us going in on a pearl for the identify spell everyone seems to agree but Dirk gets a gleam in his eye and says
Dirk: I want to try something when we go to buy it
You let me... handle the wordy word word making.......Don't think I'm getting layed tonight. Mooooore beer! Yea, I remember... don't slaughter wizards. Thatsh not really my style anyway.
Fjolnir follows the varying conversations poorly and continues to swig ale, staring well into the distance, and failing to wipe the foam from his moustache.
"Those healing potions sound like a good trade to hand over a comb to someone what don't need one na more." He pulls another draw off the mug and sets it down quietly, and begins to address the party off to the right, still staring well past the walls of the Inn. "If we're after Gundren, he's probably up at that Cragmaw Castle by now. Az is right- we know a rough heading, and without better direction i'll have a hard time finding his trail for me to track."
"And its a castle- no matter how run down it may be they're dug in, so we'd be walking it to a right mess of shit- we may want to try to collect all the information, or do side work here a day or so before heading out. Maybe we find the brothers like was said before."
The banshee gets us prepared for the castle. The brothers may help us get there. But we still don't know where there is. Then there's these Redbrands. Perhaps riding this town of their thug problem my ingratiate us with them. Maybe it will be easier to get info from the tighter lipped townfolk.
Sigh draw of ale. "I say we speak with the banshee. Our brave sir Dirk should have no problem wooing her."
Fjolnir nods in agreement and flips through his coin purse to make sure his arithmetic was correct, shifts in his seat, and fumbles with his carved belaying pin before returning his gaze out through the walls of the establishment.
As the night winds down, you collect your tabs and head to your rooms. There are just enough rooms here for each of you, as Sildar took one of the only 6 and is already sleeping. They are small, but the beds are comfortable enough and everyone benefits from a long rest. (Az Emberi, Fjolnir and Hymir, subtract 7 sp from your monies for room and board and ale. Dirk, subtract 1 sp for ale, and make sure you add the 3 gold you were paid if you didn't already. Absinthe, subtract 8 sp because you're an alcoholic.)
You're awoken in the night by a howling sound, or was it yelling? No, howling. Was it outside? it seemed close. You listen for a few minutes but you don't hear it again, so you go back to sleep.
You all wake up, don your armor and go down for breakfast. Sildar is there waiting for you. He looks in much better health and spirits after a nights rest. "Ah, my new friends, come, sit and eat." He waits for you all to sit down, and slides a pouch across the table. "There's the money I promised you for getting me safely out of that cave and into town. I am sincerely thankful. I intend on spending the day trying to find information on my colleague, Iarno Albrek, and then I'll be at the Townmaster's Hall for a while before evening. If you need me, or find any information about him yourselves, please come let me know. I'd also implore you to find information on the whereabouts of Cragmaw Castle and keep the pressure on the tribe. The Lord's Alliance will pay you handsomely if you are able to clear out the castle or take out their chieftain, King Grol I think he goes by? Perhaps you would have luck ascertaining it's location if you attempted trying to find more raiding parties around the Triboar Trail? In any case, I've got work to do. Good luck." He gets up and exits the establishment. (Everyone add 10 gold to your monies if you didn't do it before when he said he'd pay you when you got to town.)
Anyone can add things to the conversation or talk to Sildar before he leaves, I'm just signifying that he is leaving the Inn after the conversation is over.

Sildar I wish you luck on your quest for information please let us know what you find. We may be leaving the town to take care of those raiders and such but we will be back so if you for any reason have to leave this town please let us know where you are going and what you found out with the inn keeper. And we of course will let you know any information we find about the Cragmaw.

I would like to check out the wanted poster board about the orcs and any other wanted posts
Az Emberi comes down stairs looking tired and ragged. He orders coffee and eggs. After listening to Sildar he speaks up. "At least one of us should go with Sidlar to the hall. We can see the bounty board get a bearing on the orcs and maybe hear a different side to this Redbrand issue what makes a townmaster commission a bounty on orcs but allow thugs to run rampant in town. I have no further shopping to do I could accompany him but afterwards I would like to speak with the former adventurer farmer. Perhaps he's come across Cragmaw Castle in his travels. I still want to speak with Agatha the Banshee but she is far away we should tie up some business here before questing." He then goes back to his breakfast and coffee.
Sildar replies to Az Emberi, "There's no need to escort me anymore, if that was an underlying reason to go with me. I'm more than capable, now that I've had a decent rest. Besides, you're better off coming to see me there later in the day, I should have completed some of my own research by then, and we can compare notes."

"Thank you Lineane. Now if you'll excuse me I belueve several pints and a room await me at the tavern." Another odd bow and I depart.

"Garaele you look like you have had a rougher day that I have, and I spent the better part of the day getting attacked by goblins. What bothers you?"
Garaele to Absinthe: I just got back in town, actually, I was chased by something and had to run. I'm fine, though. Actually, you could help me. The people you came with, and yourself, look able-bodied, and can probably withstand most of the dangers of the wilderness. I didn't fare so well.

Let's get our question answered first. Then you can try to bed her.
"Unless she is more obliged during pillow talk."
