"So, becoming an ... aspect will allow me to continue to minister to the needy and protect the helpless. Under your wing?" He shakes his head. "It seems like lying to say for Ilmater when you're not Ilmater." He looks away. "To think that so much of my existence has been wrapped around a misunderstanding. I do hope it's seen as a misunderstanding," he says to the Aspect of Perseverance. "Do you know Ilmater? You said you could take me to him, but that he wouldn't know me like you do." Xamodas is not a wise creature. A wise creature would doubt this - a friendly face offering a second chance, a way to cheat death. But driven, and shortsighted, and desperate to live and succeed, the gith does not doubt his once-mentor. Besides, once he took his place at the apex of the Tower and claimed his wish, surely he could regain whatever he might lose in this bargain.
"Defeating death? I only know one entity who has truly cheated death - our great queen. If you can teach me to grasp a similar power, I am once again your devoted pupil."

The shoulders and posture of the metallic figure relax as he holds up his right hand, bending his arm at the elbow palm open showing nothing in that hand. "No offence taken. I can assure you this is all quite new to myself as well. I take it you, Caretakers, are some kind of policing force or peace keepers for the fair or the city? If you would direct me to the outside fair location where I could register myself and myself's items, I would be quite interested in assisting with any work." Iam will both ask and inform the Caretaker, ready to go and register himself properly. Iam is also quite pleased with his self for meeting a being.
Dordis perks up, forgetting his usual posture. He returns the black book before replying with, "I pride myself in my knowledge gained from where I lived!" Dordis takes one pace back while realizing his excited tone and changes it accordingly to a formal Faksimile accent, "It might come in useful if there are any competitions of such." He racks his mind and thinks for a few seconds, "What if there are any jobs around that could be enough to pay for the requirements?" He looks at his quarterstaff as if he's trying to remember a memory, but to no avail while waiting for Areyo's and the doctor's response.

Orina and Jogs(Bunny Batallion) | Rabbit Warren Dungeon / Trial of Ratio and Scale
"Most people don't come back without some kind of help or aid from others when they get hurt,"Orina says to Hainley. "That's why you gave us all such a great big scare, you silly hare!" She gives Hainsley a hug just for good measure, just to make sure he's all right, before returning to her inspection of the panel.
"Barnabus Stoneshield..." she reads. "Has anyone ever heard about him before? GrrGrr, maybe? He sounds like a dwarf, with a name like that, to be honest."
(History: 10 + Guidance: 2)
"So... there is treasure here, but we have to use this machine to find it. According to the schematics, we can reset the puzzle. We might need to do that to find all the treasure if it's hidden in multiple places in that room... but let's leave it for now."
She moves on to the next switch. "Lights," she muses. "Sounds like it turns the lights on. I think that's a good idea, don't you? Let's try that one first."
The next switch: "Solve." Orina frowns. "That would have been helpful earlier, but it seems a little too easy, doesn't it? Maybe we should try right before we think we're done here, though."
And the next switch: "Emergency Exit... well, that would be handy to have. But it might also just teleport us out of the dungeon, so let's leave it alone for the time being."
"Unlock all doors," she reads for the next switch. "The doors in this room? Or ALL doors? maybe there are doors we can't see, and terrible things waiting behind them? I bet we'll have to use this button eventually, but let's save it after we've tried all the safer-looking options."
The next switch, "Knob Test", confuses Orina. "GrrGrrFrr, you're the expert on the knobs of this machine. What do you think this is about?"
"Feather Blocks" makes Orina smile. "I bet this switch makes the blocks in the other room easy to pick up! Let's try it right after the lights!"
"Egg" is a mystery to Orina. "Is this actually an artificial nest for some creature? Ohh... that would be exciting, wouldn't it? What if it was the hatching ground for a mechanical dragon? It probably isn't, but it's a nice idea, isn't it?" Another idea strikes her. "Maybe the egg is related to Hainsley! Like some kind of... oh, I don't know... "Spring Equinox" Egg, sheparded into this world by portentious hares carrying wicker baskets, and sometimes chooclates? What do you think about that switch, Hainsley?"
(OOC Religion check: "Eostre" would be the name of the pagan hare goddess Easter is name for ;-)
Orina and Jogs(Bunny Batallion) | Rabbit Warren Dungeon / Trial of Ratio and Scale
Orina flips the switch titled "Lights" and waits to see what happens, expecting lights to appear in the dungeon. If the lights switch off completely, she lights up the pedestal with her spell so everyone can see again before toggling the switch back on. (If the lights don't switch back on, disregard the rest of this post.)
If nothing terribly bad happens after this first adventure in switch flipping, she then flips the switch labelled "Feather Blocks." Then she sends Jogs into the room to test whether or not the blocks are easier to pick up after that. "Come right back out again if they are, and leave the blocks in there for now,"Orina tells the dragonborn.
If nothing terribly bad has happened even yet, then Orina will encourage GrrGrrFrr to do the knob test switch. She will then also encourage GrrGrrFrr to adjust the aperture in a way that the largest block is as long as possible, for use either crossing the gap in the other room, or as a slide to stick into the turning gears in the pit below and jam them. This shouldn't be hard to do with the largest block if the feather switch actually did make it light as a feather, she figures.
Blackport -> Corvidae: (Understood, you can stay 60 feet away and still see him with your darkvision, but he will have plenty of cover if he moves deep into the woods)
A bullet streaks past his face, but he doesn't flinch. "Oh, I see, you must be the reaper, then? Don't bother, I might die, but you can't kill me. That explains the oozes, but...hmm, they haven't made much progress. Must be tough stuff." Rattles get's a hold of one side of the wheel handle, trying to turn it with all his might 21
The wheel gives a crack as it turns, and a clunk comes from the door.

Iam: "Indeed, we are a police force that runs the city." he says. "I can take you there, follow me, please, do tell me what brings you to Corvidae, I imagine you are here for the Winter's End Festival? Have some sort of talent you are here to earn some prestige with?"
Astral Beach:
Xamodas: "Excellent, your enthusiam is second only to your potential. Now, there are the methods, you have a significant upper hand, being trained in the astral plane, but where your projection there required a tether, here your mind and soul are already one. That also means, that should you perish here, you will be destroyed, each method has greater risk, but greater reward.
Firstly, there are the draconic aspects, the gods of these worlds to be found there" Vant points to a door that was always there, The Enn is on a placard above it. "That is where your soul was supposed to go, but due to your trained mind, your mental capacity could serve as a vessel. The aspects, and other entities, travel here to arbitrate souls for their next purpose, your oppurtunities are limitless; reincarnation suits you well, Xamodas, you would make a far more capable Dragon than a Gith.
Be warned, they do not do these things without expectations, they make the rules, and the more you want from them, the more consequences that will be wrought."
Corvidae - Rosebush Tent:
Dordis: "Well...sometimes there's stuff about history and lore and stuff but we would have to look around, they don't offer much. As for jobs." Areyo gives a wave to the multiple postings around the tent. "I'm sure you noticed, but none of these really pay out well, I suppose there is-" Areyo stops herself, giving you a strange look. "Oh, nevermind, that's not an option. Well hey, we could always just pick a direction and see what we find, plenty of unexplored wilderness out there with who knows what riches, and we can pick a smaller job in the meanwhile."
Redport:
Mikal: You head into the bakery, which is called 'Breadsmith' and head inside. A wave of heat, and the smells of baking bread and fresh butter assail you. Along the walls are also several sharp looking blades , some of which have loaves of sourdough impaled on them, and there is a sign that says. "Buy any sword, get a free loaf of bread!" in common, as well as other various languages. What could be a hundred different types of bread, you didn't even know there were this many types, line the display cases, and they do sandwiches too! An Orc is ordering currently, and at the front counter there is a grey feathered, billed face of an Aarokocra taking the order.
Dungeon: Trial of Ratio and Scale:
Orina & Jogs: "Oh, I didn't know that, how horrible." he begins to have a very ill look on his face, but you hug it out of him. "I'll be more carful next time, to not stress you, and I'll make sure you guys don't get that hurt either."
Orina thinks. Stoneshield, just about anyone could tell you that name. Smithy Stoneshield was apparently one of the three to scale the tower all those many many years ago. The Stoneshield clan worshipped, and still worships, The Tower by building structures and dungeons.
You hit the light switch, and suddenly, globs of white lights along the cieling make this place brightly lit, although some of them don't turn on. About the test switch. "Grr can handle test, know what knob do. good test taker...or....might just make sure they work okay, other test."
The feather block switch gives a click, and small light is on above it. Nothing terrible happens, but Jogs will go check the blocks still (they are going to be lighter, so do with that what you will). Clicking the knob test switch makes the knobs spin on there own for a bit, moving the apeture along with them, there is quite a bit of clicking and whirring for some time, then the aperture resets, a green light flashes above the test switch. "Second test, indeed." says Grr. He moves the aperture so that the aspect ratio is set to it's widest possible setting. When you open the door, the blocks are much wider than they are tall, there is almost no gap between the seperate blocks.
"I have no clue" says hainsley. "But your creativity fascinates me, but I don't think I've ever carried a basket in my life. What even is chocolate...anyway, certainly is a strange switch though." (Har har, it's not that kind of easter egg. )
The Enn:
Zacharias: "Well, I don't really know him, but I know myself, so I imagine I can't be too far off the mark. Well, talking to you is a strong term, I have heard your prayers, and I know when you do acts in my name, but I interferring with mortal affairs isn't always wise, but yes, I have talked with you, if only a verse, in the past. You know, that voice you hear in your head isn't always me, you are a good person, Zacharias, that's why I am making such an offer to you."
It takes Xamodas a few heartbeats to process what Vant is telling him, and even then, he isn't sure he understands. I am being offered a silver thread that I can climb. Should I forfeit that thread, I face final oblivion. He looks at the door and the placard above it. 'The Enn'? He understands the script, the language, but does not know the word. What is the Enn? He turns back to Vant, sullen githyanki eyes searching for confidence in the draconic irises of his oldest and most trusted friend.
"I know that this will not be easy. I must be prepared to forsake my very physical nature. But you know why I was exiled. I was always willing to step beyond the safety and stagnation of conformity. Besides - your people and mine, red dragons and githyanki - we have always had a close relationship. There are worse things to become than you."
Xamodas smiles, genuinely smiles. For the last time, perhaps, he bows to the draconic majesty before him. Then he turns, and begins to walk with deliberation and determination, towards a door and an unknown future.

I do hope it's seen as a misunderstanding," he says to the Aspect of Perseverance. "Do you know Ilmater? You said you could take me to him, but that he wouldn't know me like you do." Zacharias half grins. "So, you're the one who's been talking to me my whole life?"
Baron's Mansion
Ulrich immediately starts drawing the spirograph in chalk. "Starting it now. Hurry. We will have company soon." He keeps glancing toward the door as he draws. One hand is on his weapon.

"Rattles! You're awake!" I cry, embracing him.
"How do you feel? You took a hell of a hit back there. I thought you were a goner. You've been out for about an hour so I've been standing guard." I cross my arms, looking proud of the fact.
"You haven't missed much. If you have it in you to keep moving, it looks like there is some sort of hatch ahead. Just move slowly and let me know if you need help." I point ahead toward the crackling light as I help him up from his place by the ladder.
We carefully make our way toward the hatch at the far end of the tunnel.

Astral Beach:
Xamodas is not a wise creature.

Corvidae - Alley
The shoulders and posture of the metallic figure relax as he holds up his right hand, bending his arm at the elbow palm open showing nothing in that hand. "No offence taken. I can assure you this is all quite new to myself as well. I take it you, Caretakers, are some kind of policing force or peace keepers for the fair or the city? If you would direct me to the outside fair location where I could register myself and myself's items, I would be quite interested in assisting with any work." Iam will both ask and inform the Caretaker, ready to go and register himself properly. Iam is also quite pleased with his self for meeting a being.

Dordis Falthenfyern
Dordis perks up, forgetting his usual posture. He returns the black book before replying with, "I pride myself in my knowledge gained from where I lived!" Dordis takes one pace back while realizing his excited tone and changes it accordingly to a formal Faksimile accent, "It might come in useful if there are any competitions of such." He racks his mind and thinks for a few seconds, "What if there are any jobs around that could be enough to pay for the requirements?" He looks at his quarterstaff as if he's trying to remember a memory, but to no avail while waiting for Areyo's and the doctor's response.

Mikal wants to go to the general store, but intrigued by Fan about the good food they have in the area here, he decides to go to the bakery first. It's been a while since he has eaten something.
He checks the road first before crossing the street, Mikal doesn't trust the driving skills of the people here based on what he saw so far. When it's safe he crosses the street and enters the bakery.

"Most people don't come back without some kind of help or aid from others when they get hurt," Orina says to Hainley.
(OOC Religion check: "Eostre" would be the name of the pagan hare goddess Easter is name for ;-)
Orina and Jogs (Bunny Batallion) | Rabbit Warren Dungeon / Trial of Ratio and Scale
Jogs blinks, takes another step away from the pedestal and hefts her hammer and shield high. "Ready when you are."
Orina and Jogs (Bunny Batallion) | Rabbit Warren Dungeon / Trial of Ratio and Scale
"Come right back out again if they are, and leave the blocks in there for now," Orina tells the dragonborn.
You, on the other hand-" he gives the body a blunt kick, screeching an horrid chant, blood spills out from it and begins to warp and twist 3 From the blood, four dog sized demons covered with mouths, giving off a fetid smell. Demon intiative 11
As the demons rise, the Vagrant turns tail and moseys into the woods, vanishing in the darkness. "Later, Reaper!" It is your turn.

Nice. You come across an moderetly sized, deep underground lake. The water is dripping down from the rock above. Strangely, the lake seems to have it's own waves, but from where, you are not sure.
Baron's Mansion: You begin drawing the spirograph as fast as you can, if all goes well, you should finish drawing it in 1 rounds. There is a pounding at the basement door, followed by a cacophony of voices "We are so lonley! Where did everyone go? Dance with us, play with us, sing with us!"

The door, which is twice your size, has a wheel on it and an arrow pointing left, has some writing which Rattles reads. "Access Hatch. It's definately a door, but a strange one, entirely metal. That explains the oozes, but...hmm, they haven't made much progress. Must be tough stuff." Rattles get's a hold of one side of the wheel handle, trying to turn it with all his might 21
The wheel gives a crack as it turns, and a clunk comes from the door.
Corvidae:

I look to the left, following the arrow, "Access hatch, huh? Access to where, I wonder. Help me out with this, would you?"
