(OOC I was sleeping, sorry for being late. Also, Abestos, how much are the gems I picked up worth?)
Valrish swings his shortsword at the Ooze again, hoping to finally kill it.
To hit: 16 Damage: 7
Valrish takes a final swing at the ooze, just as it lunges for Belwar. The gray mass turns to liquid as the shortsword cuts through it, killing it once and for all. The already corroded shortsword seems to rust even more as it passes through the creature's body. (Valrish's shortsword now has a permanent -2 to damage)
The small party now looks to the cavern, with known exits North, West, and South. You recall discussing heading West with the other prisoners, towards the Darklake, and more friendlier towns that you might find supplies in. It is likely you can meet up with some of the other escapees on this direction, if any of them survived.
(OOC Which way are you going? And Leon, your gems are worth 5 gp each for the four small ones, and 10 gp each for the four larger ones, if you can find a buyer)
Oorr: " I must thank all of you. You could have left me behind, rightly so, for your survival, but you didn't. Aarakocra do not forget...I say we take the western way."
Valrish ends his rage, sheathes his shortsword, giving it a sad look, and grabs his chest under his left arm. "It wouldn't be fair to leave a mate to die." He says to Oorr. "And I also agree on going towards the West."
Grimnir agrees to going west, although his wounds are still fresh, he starts to head up towards the tunnel..
"We need to hurry up my friends, we need to put as much distance between us and this place asap, the demons won't be here forever to cover our escape..."
The chaos of demons and drow still fighting above you, you waste no time heading for the western exit. Ahead you think you see figures as the cavern narrows, and as you get closer, you see Eldeth helping some of the others up and through the smaller cave. You're about 100 feet away when you hear an awful screeching noise, and suddenly one of the large Vrock demons comes tumbling and crashing to the ground about 30 feet ahead, directly in your path to the exit. It screams, and stumbles a bit as it picks itself up off the floor. Then slowly it turns its eyes to look in your direction.
(OOC) you're saying it crashes and stumbles... Does it look like badly hurt ? Can I roll Perception to have a guess on how much it is hurt ? If not already wounded, this is not a easy fight ...actually deadly :(
"Somebody speaks Infernal ?" Grimnir looks back at the creature, inflate his torso and try to make himself scary enough. (OOC trying to bluff my way out).."Shooo Shooo, I have no quarry with you, go away and I won't hurt you"
In Abyssal, "a vrock. Pathetic. Get out of our way this instant and perhaps we won't kill you this time," because intimidation/bluffing is the only thing likely to work on a demon.
Switching back to Common, "they're also telepathic. Think very hard about how easy it would be to kill it."
OOC: Tell me what rolls I need to make.

Telepathically thinking "Let me pass, we are not interested in conflict, we do not have time for this" Following Belwar comment, I also think of the spider and the oozes we just slain and slowly going around the beast
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valrish takes the shortsword carefully and attaches it to his belt, putting the corroded one on the floor. "Thanks a bunch, mate." He whispers, picturing in his mind him burning and slaying the Ooze.
Intimidation: 18
OOC Why is it that my rolls are always so freaking good?? Must be natural talent.

edit: (OOC, yeah that's a good roll !)
The demon is hurt badly. It's wings are torn and it has many gashes across its body. It seems to be having trouble focusing on you.

OOG Also, how large is the passage? Can we easily pass around the vrock?
OOG Valrish need a new shortsword?. Oorr has one to spare.
