Grimnir is not afraid of a voice, he has seen and heard much worse in the Underdark. He approaches quietly towards the place that Oorr and Belwar are inspecting and tries to identify the source of the voice. "Show yourself!"shout Grimnir, getting ready to dodge any incoming attack
The voice again echoes throughout the cavern, “Fools! Flee now! This is your final warning!”
Grimnir, as you approach you can see now a small figure at the back of the cavern mouthing the words as they are spoken. It seems their words are being magically amplified. They spot you looking at them and come out of the shadows raising their hands defensively. What you see is a female drow adolescent wearing torn acolyte robes. She yells out in her normal voice now. "I've got poweful magic, dwarf! Beware!"
"Humm, like having a big voice ? I think if you were such a wizard you would have done something by now" . Grimnir smiles and approaches with his hand open "Let's start again. Who are you ?"

You can't get a read on the girl to know how powerful she actually is, and she doesn't seem swayed by your words. She begins to look frantically at you and your companions.
(in Common) "Look, girl, we are not looking for trouble. We are just adventurers on an important quest. You might be powerful, but we outnumber you. Would you take that kind of risk while we mean ho harm?"

A rumbling in the caverns causes the young drow to startle, and she drops her hands. As the rumbling passes she looks at the large group, and sighs dejectedly. "I... I'm Hanne," she says at a normal volume. "My mom and her friends were hunting purple worm eggs when a huge worm came out of nowhere and... ate them." Her voice breaks a little here, but she continues, "I'm trying to get back to Menzoberranzan. If... if you're not going to kill me... do you think you could spare some food? I'm so hungry." With the last word, she drops to her needs, obviously exhausted.

Oorr gives her some food and water.
Hanne, without hesitating, starts shoveling the food into her mouth, washing it down with the water. After a minute of this, she clears her throat, and smiles at Oorr. "Thanks, and yeah, I can be like your guide or something! I think the nest is near here, so it shouldn't be hard. But when we get there, we'll have to be quiet. The worms you just have to be on alert for, but the giant spiders that build their nests in the cavern ceilings will be attracted to noise. Not to mention the echo chambers that just make everything louder." She finishes the food, and holds on to the waterskin.
Hanne leads you down the cavern, or rather, she points which way to go, and follows behind the main group. She doesn't seem to be a flight risk, but you can tell the last encounter with a purple worm has her uneager to be in front.
At the direction of Hanne, you pass through a series of tunnels deeper towards the purple worm lair. Rumblings in the walls increase in both frequency and magnitude, but nothing gets close enough to cause too much concern. After a few hours of exploring Hanne says, "Now... I think there was an echo chamber around here somewhere..."
A moment later, a large tremors shakes the ground you stand on so violently it begins to break up, opening up a large hole to a cavern below you!
Grimnir and his follower, along with Belwar and the shield guardian, plummet into the cavern 25 feet below. Each of them takes 3 bludgeoning damage on impact with the floor.
After the dust settles, Hanne calls down to you. "I think this is it! The nest is probably down there, what do you see?"
The cavern is small, about 20 foot square with an exit to the North. It's completely dark, so you can only see as far as your darkvision allows. The rumbling is constant now, as if large creatures move in the earth all around you, but they are faint for the time being. You can easily toss down ropes and enter deeper into the cavern or pull up your comrades if you wish to try a different route.
Grimnir uses his innate monk's abilities to slow down his fall and takes no damage. As he land, he casts Pass without Trace to be sure that the group remains silent.
After securing some ropes and other means of descending, you dust yourselves off in the lower cavern. Hanne seems eager to explore, and looking North you see what looks to be a cavern full of various fungi. To the East you see a sloping path leading upward. It is covered in rubble and dirt, and seems slightly unstable, but there is a faint glow coming from the room beyond. The cavern walls continue to rumble slightly, shaking the dust and dirt, but nothing appears for now.
Grimnir will wait until the group is complete and scouts a bit ahead, just enough to see what is in the next room. Still under his spell, the monk moves silently.
Brox hangs back for the time being. Her armour doesn't make her the most quiet when sneaking around. Even though she cannot hear the constant rumble, she clearly feels the ground shake and tremble while those creatures move in the distance. Brox is eager to get to the eggs quickly and leave the area as soon as possible.
Grimnir, you move towards the fungal cavern to the North. Numerous types of mushrooms are here, both common and uncommon. You could spend some time foraging if you wished, but the rumbling in the cave makes it a bit stressful. The cavern to the East appears to be lit with some sort of Lichen. The pathway slopes upward, making it hard to see the floor in that area, but you make out what may be bones of some sort.
Brox, you feel the rumbling before anyone else, and have just a moment to hold the rest of the group back before a purple worm bursts through the Western wall and tunnels East. It ignores you, and travels through the lichen room before creating a new tunnel through a far Eastern wall. After it passes, the rumblings quiet, and seem to be far distant. The way the worm went appears to be the only way out of this area. As the worm's tail passes, Hanne shouts out at it, "I'm gonna gut you for eating my mom!" The worm appears to ignore her.
(the line is the path of the purple worm moving left to right)
Peering into the lit room after the worm has passed, you see the exit tunnel it created, and another smaller room to the South, where there appears to be some sort of chasm in the floor.
"We don't have much time. we should go in and out." thinks Grimnir. Saddened not to have enough time to forage the mushroom, Grimnir keeps his focus on his spell and continues along the worm's path to have a peak in the south room. "Belwar, would you be ok to investigate this place a bit? I'll go forward and keep an eye open for more worms..."

Grimnir (Green dot), as you follow the path of the worm, you enter into the room dimly lit by lichen. There are indeed bones littering the floor, some that resemble humanoids, and others that don't like anything you're familiar with. You approach the new tunnel the worm created. Beyond that tunnel is a wide open cavern, the end of which stretches beyond your site. What you can see, are large egg clusters suspended from the walls and ceilings by resin strands. These strands are anchored at a few places on the ground, as well as to the walls and the ceiling of the cavern, which reaches about 80 feet above you. You don't see any other purple worms, but there are multiple tunnels and exits around this egg sanctuary.
Belwar (Red dot), investigating into the southern room, you examine the chasm room. The room itself is small, the ceiling just 30 feet above you, but the chasm runs deep down into darkness. There does appear to be a small ledge about 20 feet down in the chasm where you spot the skeletal remains of some hapless adventurer, their moldy armor now decaying around them.
Griminir places himself within 30ft of everybody and releases some telephatic spores (Use 1/3)
