"Looks of fish, but many eyes drawn on. But why make stone look hurt? And why one of female and one of monster like?" Hox comes closer to the statue but not touching. He flies up and looks all around the statue.
OOC: Yes, Wes doesn't really need a roll for any guesswork.
Flying around the back of the statue, Hox sees that it is covered in its entirety with these etchings, though he doesn't find anything else of note on its far side.
Rycider takes stock of the statue as well, examining it for its clearly magical presence. The carvings themselves don't seem magical in nature, and she is not certain how the statue moves, whether it be physical or teleportation, due to the condition apparently required for its movement.
Whatever it is, it is likely that it won't stop moving toward you when no eyes are upon it, and though it is certainly unnerving, it doesn't seem to be exuding any harmful effects at the moment.
OOC: Thank you for catching that, I thought I'd cleaned all of those up but I must have missed yours.
Tentacle vs. Aradurk: 25Damage: 22 Tentacle WIS Save: 16
The party lays into the tentacle, spell and steel biting into the rubbery flesh as Hox hides and Rycider alerts those below deck. It writhes, slowed somewhat by Wes's magic, and retracts into the water - but not before slamming into Aradurk along the way, wrapping around the half-orc and carrying him with it.
Round 2 Order: Players <===== Tentacle
Placement: Aradurk is grappled by the tentacle, being dragged underwater 30 feet below the ship.

Dragging her shield with her, but not yet taking an action to don it, Killian makes for the side of the ship, looking into the water for Aradurk and the tentacle. If she sees it, she will again gesture at it, speaking quiet, cold words. If she does not see it, she will put the shield on her arm.
Move: to the side of the ship, look for target. Action: Cast Chill Touch again, at tentacle. 25 to hit, for 14 necrotic damage.
or... if no target, she will take her Action to don her shield.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
As her fellow companions come up from below she see's the leviathan take Aradurk into the depths. She looks for and grabs anything long, like an oar or halberd, and heads to the side of the ship, looking for signs of the half orc.

Wes is concerned. “I don’t think this is a carving. Who could carve something like this all the way out here? Seems more like Petrification...”
(I’m assuming he would have that knowledge with 20 Int and his school of magic is based in transmutation. Still hope I am wrong)

Wes speaks up a bit “Well now what?”
(OOC: Well now what?”)
“Perhaps we move on, with someone keeping an eye on it until it is out of sight, lest we keep running aground on it?” Killian offers.

Hox takes out one of his daggers and lands on top of the statue. He pokes the fish man's eyes for any reactions.
The moment Hox lands upon the statue, it appears to melt, condensing in width and becoming a 20-foot-tall stone tentacle.
Then the stone shatters, and a very real, writhing, gargantuan tentacle slings itself toward the kobold.

Wes jumps back at the sight of the monster coming to life. Trying to keep his distance he casts slow on the creature.
Rycider sticks her head into the hull and shouts to the others;
Tentacle!
confident that this conveys most of the pertinent information.

It looks like my Greataxe still has the bonus from Ritska to a +2. Is that going to be permanent? I did those roles with just a +1
Tanakir runs abovedeck, tossing a small ball of fire at the tentacle before drawing his club and enhancing it.
