With the rest of the group pilling up on the remaining intruders, Anearis grits his teeth through the pain in his back. He carefully runs around Uthal toward the scimitar wielding and tries to tackle and hold him against the wall.

As Anearis 'squeezes' between the giant's scale mail, and the wall, he manages to make it through without being crushed, before attempting to subdue the bandit (B1).
Grapple resist: 5
The bandit easily dodges Anearis's attempt, and for show, slaps Anearis in the face, as a display of cockiness, during the failed attempt.
At the same time the other bandit (B3), drops the crossbow, now useless at the current range, and draws his sword, attacking Ura, the seemingly easier target standing aside the armored knight with a shield. Scimitar 12 Damage 5
Out of the corner of her eye, Ura sees the second bandit's display of bravado and scowls. "Hey, you artless clay-brained bladder," she shouts at him furiously, waving a sword at him in annoyance. "Only I'm allowed to be that cocky!" Her wild and unexpected gesticulations cause the second thug to completely miss his attack, as the scimitar flies uselessly past her.
Ura whips around, now really annoyed. "Oy! I wasn't talking to you yet, but if you're in such a hurry,"she grunts, slashing at him with her swords again.
Uthal uses his shield to roughly push Anearis aside. He then drives the solid head of his warhammer forward, using it like a spear in the confined space.

Ura’s actions fail to live up to her talk, as she then returns the bandit’s (B3) attacks with two missed slashes.
Uthal however, was a bit more lucky. Striking the head of the warhammer into his own opponent, the wind got knocked out of the bandit (B1) as it hit him square in the chest, with an audible cracking sound.
The bandit (B1) struck back at the giant towering over him. Scimitar: 12 Damage: 2
With Anearis’s revenge acquired, only a final bandit (B3) remained. He looked between his fallen companions and the window behind him, then turned to flee.
With a final strike, Ura slashes the bandit (B3) in the back as he turned and tried to run for the window behind him.
”What’s going on here?!?”
As the combat completed, the old man had ascended the staircase and run down the hall. A look of alarm and confusion on his face. He held his cane in one hand, though without its head, instead the curved, ornate head was at the hilt of a long thin blade he held in the other hand.

"Looks like your house isn't as secure as you thought it was,"Ura tells Solomon as she cleans off her blade on the clothes of the bandit she slew. Sheathing them, she looks up at him. "Sorry about the mess on your floor. We didn't mean to repay your kindness with this sort of trouble." Then she crouches down by the bodies and begins to root through them thoroughly, looking for anything of value they might have carried, whether monetary - or informational. "You could tell me all your secrets,"she sing-songs to the corpses as she works.
Uthal looks over the bandits and picks the one he thinks may have been the leader. (Bandit 1) He then crouches down. "You want secrets let's just do this." He places a large hand on the man's chest and says "ikke ennå." spare the dying He then stands back up and hefts his hammer to his shoulder. "That will keep him alive but won't heal his wounds. When he wakes he will be in a large amount of pain. And if he doesn't talk then he can easily be dispatched again."
((Assuming that Ura rolls all three of the bodies.)) Picking the pockets of their would-be assassins, Ura finds 4 gold, 13 silver, and 2 copper in total between the three of them. Aside from their garbs and weapons that the entire party had previously just faced, Ura came up empty. Unfortunately, in this case, deadmen really do tell no tales. ((Perhaps Uthal's method may eventually prove more fruitful))
As Ura and Anearis both apologize the Solomon, for the mess that was inadvertently made, while defending their lives, he sheaths his sword back within his cane, and straightens his posture. Composing himself, and calm, Solomon's alarmed sense in now dispersed. "We expected something like this to occur, unfortunately, we anticipated it wouldn't happen so soon. I'm afraid we're going to have to move faster, and we don't have time for you all to catch your breathe. Gather what remains of your belongings and follow me." Solomon moves his head around, while peering into general areas of the hallway, and you can see his lips moving silently, counting, before speaking again. "..1..2..3..4. Where is Donovan?"
"He went down the stairs to fetch something for us. Blew right by like a bat out of hell. I haven't seen him resurface yet,"Ura said, looking around for a sign of the boy's presence.
Solomon looked in Ura’s direction. “Very well. As I said though, grab what you need and come. We must move.” Solomon turned and headed back to the stairwell.
Stepping quickly to avoid the giant’s hammer swinging down, the bandit (B1) returns the favor and strikes back with his sword.
Scimitar 14 Damage 4
But the strike was no match for the armor, the giant now wore.
Ander comes running down the hall, shield raised, and swings for the wounded bandit's neck.

Anearis looked stunned at first by the sassy gesture. That look quickly faded into an expression of aggravation and anger.
Throwing caution to the wind, Anearis jumped forward and punched the guard in an attack that lacked his usual grace of movement.

Almost instantly, another punch came flying in the sassy bandit’s face.

Anearis, still bleeding, places a hand on his wound and moves forward to meet Sol.
"It was an ambush. Lord Anton’s men came to try to silence us. Please, forgive us for dragging you into this."
He presses his back against the wall, gritting his teeth in pain.

Uthal’s spell seems to completely close the wound, leaving but a small scar on Anearis’ back. Feeling reinvigorated, Anearis stands back up.
‘’Hannallo. Thank you, my friend.’’
