[Out of curiosity, are you using the dice roller tool, or typing the roll syntax out? Also, there haven't been that many d20 rolls yet. Maybe around 10/person. If you'd prefer, however, I could look into setting up a Discord server or something like that with a different dice roller.]

Try doing some more bard like things - which usually are more to assist your team and make things more difficult for our foes. For example, I'm not sure what cantrips you selected, but Vicious Mockery requires a save throw from the enemy and if they fail, they get a little damage (1d4) but then have disadvantage on their next attack roll. 8 + proficiency bonus + charisma modifier is higher than that '7' you rolled (this is from memory, so double check). :) Just a thought. Don't give up. Random is random. Random doesn't mean you win every roll.
I have literally only succeeded one sleath roll and one perception. I'm using the roller not typing the thing out.
I have tried to do bard-things but I don't have combat spells per say. I mean thunderwave so uh being sleathy isn't the best spell to loose eh? I've healed when Val couldn't. I'll say it's just really frustrating because I don't roll this horrible IRL!! I'm not win them all but seriously 2 good rolls out of 10?!
{Where am I in relation to bridge - I was attempting to move past it while Rex was sweet talking the enemies. How high is the bank? Is it difficult terrain? etc.}
[The only areas that count as difficult terrain are the places where there's dense foliage. Where, specifically were you moving? (North up the bank alongside the bridge and toward the road and cluster of buildings, or east along the stream under/past the bridge?) Either way, you don't have to worry about movement unless you are keeping in the brush.]
Monk-E, seeing Rex's plan fail, scurries quietly (Stealth: 26) up the bank and sneaks onto the opposite of the bridge. Assuming he's not seen, and now flanking his opponents, he stabs the first enemy he see's in the back (Attack: 27. Damage: 8) followed by a round house kick (to either the same if still standing or the next one in line) (Attack: 21. Damage: 9).
On the above ^, I'm rolling with advantage on the attack rolls, assuming my presence is unknown and the enemies are focused on Rex in front of them.
However, if you don't agree, or if I'm heard/seen, here are non advantaged attack rolls (using same damage as rolled above)...
Stabbing with the sword: 11 Round house kick: 14
(ooh, that's a crit on the advantaged sword attack)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Monk-E sneaks up on the cultists and brutally stabs his short sword right through one of them. [You can roll an extra d6 for damage if you want, but he's dead either way.] Before the others can react, he brings his foot around and breaks the neck of the next cultist.
Taken aback by the sudden assault, the remaining cultist pauses momentarily before ordering the kobolds to attack.

Best of luck everyone, this bard bows out.

[I'm sorry you feel you have to leave. Best of luck to you in your other 5e endeavors.]
[I feel it's worth noting that I still like the dice roller on here, if we were to do a vote]

Rex raises a thumbs up while clutching his bleeding side, "Thaaank yooouuu... You're such a nice lady..." He seems to have lost a lot of blood.
