(@Grx & @Drache: You both picked the same spot on the map to stand on. Graxx is first on initiative so I'll place him there. Neya will be placed at {AT-62} instead.)
Graxx drops a lit torch on a wooden table and grabs his weapon. Invoking his battle rage, the warrior steps forward and slashes the closest ratman, opening a considerable gash across his chest. The shapeshifter then has the fortitude of ducking away from a second slash. (Wererat #3 takes 20 slashing and radiant damage).
Neya also drops the item she's been holding and approaches the north passage. Seeing the already bloody wererat, the monk puts him out of his misery before turning to its brethren. The first wererat falls due to its injuries while the second stumbles back after being kicked on the chest. (Wererat #3 takes 18 magical piercing damage and is DEFEATED; Wererat #1 takes 10 magical bludgeoning damage).

The black pearl on the pommel of Moneus' saw-toothed dagger shines magically. The tiefling screams: "There are more; many more!" A second later, he is drawing two thin ethereal knives from his armband and throwing them at the closest enemy:
You deliver your less-than-persuasive speech and get very little reaction from the goblin. Then, the sounds of battle erupt from somewhere else in this stony maze. Those get more of a reaction from the goblin, though she does not seem worried. Instead, she smirks. She stops pulling on the bowstring and moves to the edge of the room, looking outside to gather more information. You see many shadowy figures run past, presumably toward the fight. The goblin has her back turned to you now, but she is a good 15 or so feet away.
Passive perception: something hanging from the back of her loincloth catches the light from the torch, like something small and made out of metal would.
As Moneus' knives flash past him, Utar wastes no time in following up his friend's attack into the wererat. Were the foes not angry amalgams of man and beast, he'd swear it was just like old times.
Lightbringer traces an arc through the air, finishing up near Utar's own left ear, trying to catch the wererat with a haymaker.
Attack: 14 Damage: 6
Not content with his efforts, Utar brings Lightbringer down on the neck of the wererat, trying to put it down quickly.
Doozey hardly seems to react to the noise, or the smirk. As far as he knew, it could just as well be a bunch of 'monsters' in some animalistic pit fight for some scraps. And yet, the stoutling could not so easily ignore the glint of metal. Though hope would not be re-kindled so easily, the survivalist could not ignore either. So, a chance is taken in his creeping back onto his feet after having fully and quietly slipping a hand free. Then, step by step, leery now especially of even the slightest noise given himself away after seeing one bat form already, the stoutling crept in close, aiming to slip the mettalic object free.
Though unless by some miracle it was his silvered rapier, once in hand, he retreats back to his spot, sitting and carefully positioning once more so that the freed hand would not be immediately notice... or the hopeful weapon it held in readiness.
Utar lets Lightbringer join the fight, doing so by smacking the nearby wererat twice. The shapechanger spins in place a full 360 degrees before dropping dead. (Wererat #2 takes 12 magical bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)
Moneus enjoys Utar's display, finding the time to laugh and say: "This feels wonderfully nostalgic, my Tormite friend!"

From the tunnel the party arrived, the screeches of bats gets louder and louder. Six of them suddenly descend on the closest target in an attempt to catch them by surprise. Moneus' dagger, however, magically warns the tiefling of the approaching danger. The bats' surprise approach, so long in the making, is foiled by a dagger.
Before attacking, three of the bats transform, mid-air, into a yellowish bat-goblin hybrid. Their leathery wings are dirty, their faces almost have a snout, and the smell of wet fur finally reveals its source.
-> Bite vs. Moneus: Attack: 24 Damage: 5 piercing.
-> Moneus' CON saving throw {DC 10}: 18
Moenus is quick. His torso moves from one side to the next avoiding bites as he goes. Alas, one small bat manages to sink in their teeth. (Moneus takes 5 piercing damage.)
"Arhhg," he yells. "There is a foul curse in these fangs. Avoid the bites!"

The Weremutts close in, most seemingly running towards Neya in a tight pack formation:
-> Scimitar vs. Neya: Attack: 21 Damage: 6 slashing.
-> Scimitar vs. Neya: Attack: 21Damage: 6 slashing.
-> Scimitar vs. Neya: Attack: 23 Damage: 7 slashing.
-> Scimitar vs. Graxx: Attack: 16 Damage: 7 slashing.
Neya can't help but focus on a single target as they approach. She dodges that one's attack, but the other two manage to cut her. (Neya takes 13 slashing damage.)
A fourth blades aims at Graxx's back, also cutting him. (Graxx takes 3 slashing damage, already halved by Rage.)
05. Werebats - Three of them are in small bat forms.
03. Weremutts -
MAP:
NOTES: It's dim light everywhere unless you are right next to a torch. If you have no special sense like darkvision your perception checks and search actions are done at disadvantage. It does not affect attack rolls.
You try your best at approaching the inattentive goblin silently, but the chains attached to you rattle, as chains are know to do. The goblin turns to see you right there, breathing on her neck, You make an attempt to grab the metal object and...
... a struggle ensues. You are at the limit of your chains' slack. The goblin drops the bow to focus on not letting you grab what you now understand to be a key. You have the better grip, but the goblin is reaching for a loose arrow.
(Oh shitOh shitOh shitOh shitOh shit!!! Uh! I choose this!)
Thinking on his feet, Doozey breaks out Doozey #2 The Bloody(aka Swamp Leech), and tries to slip it just deep enough down the Goblin's maw as to get to start choking, and hopefully buy himself a few extra seconds!
(OOC: Nice! I'm invoking the Rule of Cool here and giving you advantage on that swamp leech roll... so sticking with 20.)
Focused on grabbing your hand, which is grabbing the key, the goblin can do nothing but eat a fistful of blood swamp leech. She coughs, gags, and more importantly, lets go of you. She is reaching for her throat.
-> Werebat's CON saving throw: 5
Oof... she begins choking and goes into suffocation mechanics! It doesn't look like she'll last long like this.
(OOC: What a move! Take a DM's Inspiration Token!)

@Lerus:
(Much appreciated, bossman, much appreciated on all accounts!)
(And hey... Some people have a pocket full of sunshine... and some people have an engorged swamp leech... we make do with what we got. Lol!)
Despite all temptations to leave things lie, Doozey could only trust in Big Mama's luck for only so far. So, while the goblin struggled to breathe, he hoped to get in the garrote a second time, and speed her on her way. He waits for the moment her hands are too occupied clutching at her throat. The moment she might've even started to turn away to go for help. In that moment, he leaped at her whipped the chain out and around, and then pulled her close at the chain, whispering, "Go. To. Sleep."
Chain Garrote Attack - 22. (rolled at disadvantage as usual, unless the current choking hazard would grant advantage to counter mend it.)
Before the surviving wererat can get any more ideas, Graxx brings up his halberd and skewers her. It is not pretty, but it is a quick death. The barbarian tries to plunge his weapon once more into the wererat's chest, but finds the effort unnecessary. (Wererat #1 takes 25 piercing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Neya aims her next few strikes at one of the weremutts, slashing her neck with three quick swipes of her magical claws. (Weremutt #2 takes 25 magical slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Moneus waits for the right moment and rolls out of the swarm of werebats. He keeps moving a few more feet {AW-60} before turning and throwing another pair of magical knives. This time, he aims for the mutts bothering Neya:
One of the knives grazes a misshapen dog, while the other finds the sweet spot between the eyes of another. That one is not standing back up. (Weremutt #3 takes 6 magical piercing damage; Weremutt #1 takes 20 magical piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
The goblin begins stumbling about as she struggles to breath. Once she steps a little too close again, you whip the chain once more. This time, it is no practice run. The chain loops around your target's already obstructed throat, and you push her towards death just that much quicker. Having no air in her lungs, the struggle does not last long.
-> The goblin is insta-killed due to accelerated chocking/suffocation.
In the background, against the flickering flames of far away torches, you notice a gathering of shadows in the next room over. You can't quite hear what they are saying, but you know they are murmuring...

Both wererats move in closer {AS-62 and AV-62}, brandishing blades and fangs:

Damage: 3 piercing.-> Shortsword vs. Utar: Attack: 8
Damage: 4 piercing.-> Bite vs. Utar: Attack: 16
Damage: 7 piercing. The rodents are outmatched by metal armors, though one blade manages to find its target (Graxx takes 2 piercing damage, already halved by Rage.)

-> Flying Knife vs Wererat #2: Attack: 16 Damage: 6 magical piercing.
Edit: I almost deprived Moneus of his sweet sweet Sneak Attack damage: 17
Both daggers sink into the creature's shoulder, immediately dissolving out of existence. (Wererat #2 takes 26 magical piercing damage.)
(Utar is up next. He is in melee range of the wererat Moneus just targeted.)
