At the end of the joke, Ava falls on the group laughing. "Oh that was a good one." Following the rest of the group through the ruins she stays a bit quiet, watching for anything creepy that might jump out at them. "Alright where is this package, payment, and destination?"
Vanifer gives Percival a perplexed look, as if she couldn't tell if he was being serious or not, but said, "I have many stories to tell. I have seen and experienced many things in my lifetime."She glances at Shrek, then back to Percival. "But, I do not wish to cause cerebral assault to your goliath co worker with such a verbal revelation."
She reaches into her pack and pulls out a dagger that has been wrapped in heavy cloth.
"This is what I wish to have delivered. I believe I owe the company payment as well."she pulls out some gold and hands both items to you. "I plan to travel to the Reghed Glacier and entomb that dagger you know hold, called Tinderstrike, there forever. It is a legendary dagger of elemental evil. I want to keep the dagger off of my person for as long as possible, because I fears that its overwhelmingly evil power might break my will and prevent me from doing the good deed I know I must do. That’s where you come in. I paid your company to have this delivered to me up there. I plan to travel alone to Reghed. I imagine that your company will send, possibly you all, up there to deliver the dagger to me."
"I have reformed my ways. Entombing the dagger is one of the steps I must take to absolve myself of my crimes. Years ago, an adventuring party attacked members of the other cults of the Elements, specifically, the air cultists at Feathergale Spire in the Sumber Hills - and failed. It was then, I realized, that perhaps ultimate power and control through the elements was not the answer. Even though I left the cult and seek reformation for my deeds, the memory of the souls who died and the knowledge from the cult led me astray."
"Take the dagger. And be careful with it. It is a source of great evil and terrible memory."
Ava sits nearby watching. "So you are going to do this by yourself? Transport a dangerous magic item that tempts you, someone who has worked for evil in the past.... Either you are a brave hero, or a foolish idiot. Not that it matters to me. Thank you for your patronage, the dagger will await you in the North. Safe travels," the small dwarf says to the woman as she takes the item and payment and begins walking towards the door.
Just as he did Maccath, Kai listens to Vanifer’s story with equal enthusiasm, nodding along as she told her tale. “Huh, sounds like that adventuring party needed to spend more time planning for that kinda attack.” He says, shaking his head in disappointment. “Well don’t worry now, rest assured your dagger will be in safe hands!”

PICK UP THREE: NEZZNAR THE BLACK SPIDER
Nezznar the Black Spider, according to the manifest, could be found at the top of a lighthouse in the Open Shore. Welp, time to make the third delivery. It's afternoon, and the Open Shore is riddled with drunks, bandits, and other unsavory types. It's not a good idea to leave the delivery coach by itself in this bad area of town, and you've heard of people getting mugged around this area.
(Pick one or two players to stay and guard the coach, now.)
Oaf Shrek volunteers for sit and guard the coach while those more talkative types (who know words that he has no clue what mean) meet with the client for the third pickup.
"I'll stay behind with the big guy,"Kai volunteers. "Just, uh, don't take forever in gettin' back to us. Place gives me a chills."

Kai, Vetis, and Oaf, I mean Shrek, stay behind to watch the coach.
This is indeed a bad area of town. As you walk towards the lighthouse on the walkway overlooking the sea, groups of unsavory types glare at you sizing you all up. It smells like piss and seaweed, and plenty of homeless people are doing the best they can to stay warm. Eventually, as you make your way towards the lighthouse, you can hear rude cat calling and other noises as a ragged group of thuggish types encircle you.
"Well, well, well..lookie who we have here..."a most unpleasant ugly goblin with a new york accent that you've never heard of says. "A bunch of lost boys and girls who went the wrong way. Welp. Now you've got to pay the toll: ten gold per person! BWHAHa Ha Hua h aha phbth!"he laughs/coughs at you all. "We're gonna ook you guys in the dooker!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Duly noted. Come along now." Percival says, to whoever is following him.
"Ah, I take it that you must be the welcoming committee. Well, I doubt that you care too much about how it's a crime to assault postal service workers, so let's get straight to the point. I am nobility and I have no intention of being held up by common bandits, so move aside or I'll ook you in the dooker. Whatever that is."
At the coach, Vetis entertains herself by changing the color of her eyes from their usual silver to pitch black, pure white, blood-red, icy blue, and more.
Kazimir smiles as they step toward the goblin, making a note to lean down as they talk, “Pardon me? Why do you think we would give you 10 gp a person?” Kaz points to the other bandits, “Because you threaten us with what? Some bandits? Do you really think that’s going to stop us?”

Vetis listens to the story quietly, considering.
Am I technically in a cult, since I serve you?
Don't be ridiculous. I'm not some hopped-up elemental. I'm a goddess. Are you a warlock, or a cleric?
Fair enough.
