You aren't sure how common blue folks are, but this is the only one you see out of the three...
((Templar))
As you address the small female, the term 'gnome' comes to mind.
Blue looks around at the debris in the area as he converses with the others. ((Give me a d20 roll for and Investigation check please.))

The markings on your arm are a puzzle to you, though they seem to have been added, rather than being natural. Must have some sort of significance.
The taloned foot is fairly large, whatever bird it is attached to must be close to half your size. An images of a couple person-like bird beings flash to mind, but based on the sharp, curved talons, you're pretty sure it's not the smaller, black feathered type... kenku? Seems a fair match for the other sort, though if you can get it free, the presence of both arms and wings would confirm that... Akarakaka... Arrowcokera... Arokra... something like that... if only you had some way to cut through that sail.

I struggle futilely for a few minutes, pulling at the tight knots and realizing that if I don't stop, I may make it worse. I look around for a jagged shell or rock, anything that could be used as a tool (Perception: 12.). As I'm looking, I also pat myself down, trying to identify anything I'm carrying that may help.
"Hang on there, I'm trying to get you out - trying to find something to cut through this tangled mess." I briefly look over to the other group of table and yell, hoping I'm loud enough to reach them. "DOES ANYBODY HAVE A BLADE OF SOME SORT?"

You attempt to reassure the person under the sail that you're there to help, and wander the beach, eventually finding a couple of rocks, one with a sharp-ish edge, that you should be able to grind together and sever some of the ropes and cloth.

Scouring the beach, I scoop up the couple of rocks I feel will suffice and hasten back to the entangle creature. Trying to stay away from the creature itself, I begin sawing through the sail and rigging keeping it trapped. "Please try not to move much....I don't want to accidentally get you."

"Sorry Blue, I just can't seem to remember anything about seeing you or your kind before." The female looks around at everyone's wet clothing, "I think we should try to find some wood to try and make a fire to dry our clothing. Besides maybe the smoke can act like a signal." She will start looking along the beach for driftwood or dry wood, also maybe coconut husks (Is this jungle like terrain? Does the beach meet up with trees?)
You don't find anything useful nearby, but do spot up the beach from you a fallen tree that seems dry, dead, and possessing assorted limbs that can probably be repurposed as kindling and firewood.
((Beach is a mix of rock and sand, treeline is less than 100 feet away, and dense, assorted vegetation.))

I stop struggling when I hear the voice again and, feeling more at ease, if possible in my condition, I reconsider my plan to flee as soon as I can, and wait.
"I think I see some firewood material a little ways up here. I'm going to go gather some and bring it back." While she is there she will see if there are any dry grasses or more fibrous materials available. As she walks up the beach, she will pat her pockets to see if she has a flint or anything to help her make fire.
Blue swings his plank about a bit. It's a touch awkward, not having been shaped for the purposes of being a weapon, but he feels like he could do a reasonable job of swinging it at something that needs bopping.
Medium non-blue ((BeastyC)) figures its either early morning or late afternoon, as the sun is a handspan above the horizon.
Big 'Un joins the gnome, and together they find the makings of a fire, though currently, not the means to ignite it, but in short order have a fire pit lined in stone, a bed of fine grass, twigs and other kindling, increasing up to larger pieces of reasonably dry wood they can add as it gets going once it's lit.
The small gnome was hoping for them means to make fire in her pockets, but only finds a well used hanky, and a well made pouch that managed to keep the seawater out. It has a few handfuls of shelled nuts and dried berries in it.

It's not fast or pretty, but by pure physical persistence, you manage to chop and grind your way through some ropes and the cloth enough to create an opening that you think the person inside will be able to get through. The rocks you used have been shattered by your efforts, and your fingertips and palm are cut and bruised. (-1HP)
((Trustlife))
After ten minutes of stones (and the occasional finger) being smashed together, and perhaps more than a few muttered curses, the person outside manages to rip and tear free a hole, you can see the sky again! Your rescuer is quite big, towering feet above you, and has greyish skin, marked with tattoos. Their fingers seem to have paid the price for your freedom, blood dripping slowly to the sand.

((So I think I've decided how to try incorporating the token mechanic to discover/recall things about your abilities. You each have a d20 that you can roll, after which it goes into the "Memory Die Pool". If you roll high, I'll tell you something that is immediately applicable to the situation (*or the most applicable if there isn't anything directly applicable). On a low roll, you get to learn something 'random' about your abilities. Once in the pool, I can 'spend' the die to tell you something, returning the die to whichever character I'm doing that for. Each time a die gets rolled, it's size will decrease from d20 to d12, d10, d8, d6, and finally, d4. So that averages out to a dozen bits of info about each character that can get discovered this way. *Note: Dice returned from the pool may not go back to the same person, I'll always hand back the lowest dice increment first, and characters can only have one Memory Die at a time, so it's to your benefit to use them.))

Seeing the sky I instinctually try to fill my longs with air, but the fail because of the stuff still pressing down on me. I struggle to squeeze out instead. "Thank you, kind stranger. Where are we?" I look around, then at myself, my hands. "Talons? Do you know who I am?" I turn to slash some fabric with my talons to bandage the stranger's finger.

You look about, and given how spread you guys were, you reason that the ship must have broken up a ways off shore, and the remnants were carried here. You walk a short ways up the beach, and see some bodies lying half submerged, two with clothes in the same color as yours, and three with more mismatched clothing. None of them seem to be alive. There also seem to be some barrels and chests that have been washed up, some shattered in the wreck, but some still intact.
((Also decided that if you roll a Nat 20 on a check, that I'll tell you your modifier. Big 'Un, you have a -1 to Survival.))
You slash some of the cloth with your hind talons, and are able to get it the wounds cleaned and wrapped in a competent enough manner that your rescuer should still be able to use their hands unimpeded.
