Looking along the beach to see in what direction does the wreckage stretch, I return to my saviour and say: "I didn't see any movement, only some smoke a few hundred feet in that direction. We're on a peninsula. I was hoping to find running water, but the canopy is too dense. We'll have to search on foot. Should we search for survivors first?"
If I've seen what direction the wreckage stretches, I'll suggest going that way and look through the wreckage for anything useful as we progress. 15

You try to surreptitiously palm one of the daggers, and while your fingers seem reasonably nimble, you fumble it a bit, but manage to get it in hand without injuring yourself. It'd be safe to say it wasn't a clean pass though, and if someone had been watching, they'd have noticed your attempt.
In addition to the matching medallion, you find a small pouch that contains a bunch of small packets of dried odds and ends.. or at least, they were dried, before your dunk in the ocean. You also note that one of your hands is quite calloused compared to the other.
Turning your dagger to one of the chests, you try to fiddle the blade in and get it to release, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. You try to resort to brute force, but it goes even worse, the impact jarring your hand numb, and if not for the crossguard, your hand likely would have slipped down onto the blade to bad result. As it is, you drop the knife to the sand as you rub the feeling back into your hand.
((AlterEgo))
It doesn't look like any religious symbol you can remember... though given the vast void of your memory, that isn't saying much, but you're pretty sure that it signifies some other organization that you and your companions presumably belong to that is of a more secular nature. Perhaps some sort of club or guild?
You don't feel too confident in wielding the dagger... while you seem to have enough familiarity to know it's use (pointy end towards enemy), you just don't seem all that physically equipped to do much damage with it. Still, better to have SOMETHING than nothing.
Big 'Un does indeed find some pockets, but if they contained anything, it must have washed out in the water. He does find a medallion like the others. There is a leather sheath for something longer and thinner than a dagger at his side, but it's empty. He looks around, but maybe he got some sand in his eyes, as things are kind of blurry and he's not able to spot anything that would give evidence of fresh water. They do seem to be on a spit of land jutting out into the sea, so perhaps further along the coast in one direction or the other.
Blue is nervously looking at the fire and the smoke rising from it, a bit apprehensive to be caught out on the beach if it were to attract unwanted attention, and begins moving towards the treeline, alert for other signs of things being in the area.
He comes across some tracks that are big and feline, and halts his movement forward. There is a slight drag mark that occurs every few steps or so, and a few stray drops of blood that have landed in the sand, absorbing into it and causing it to curl up as the blood dried. The big cat must have killed something nearby and either the prey was small enough for it to be lifted bodily and carried easily... though from the size of the paw prints, it could easily have been something nearly his size... perhaps one of the other shipwreck victims? Blue realizes after the fact that they must be pretty good at reading tracks and the like, it just felt natural and obvious, but he can't remember a reason that would be the case.

You grunt with effort as you swing the dagger, but it slips from your hand with the powerful strike, flying to bury itself in the sand a ways distant. Good thing your new feathered friend wasn't watching too closely. Retrieving it, you try a couple more swings, and judge that you'd be able to handle a dagger reasonably well in a fight, whether it be swinging with brute force, or applying the edge in a more delicate manner.
You'd gauge it to be a few hours after dawn, which if the spotty flashes of a storm tossed ship in the night are reliable, would probably mean you washed up after the ship went down the previous night.

From your flight overhead, you got a good idea of the spread of debris, and spotted some promising things washed up on the floor that you can direct your saviour to.

Big 'Un finds a full armload of firewood that he hauls back to the fire. (Perception: -1)
He sets it down and starts breaking it up in his large hands, snapping and twisting the dry limbs. His gaze is captured by the fire, and as he looks into its flickering depth, he is overcome with a certainty. Raising a hand, he barks something in a deep guttural tongue and flicks his fingers forward. A flickering flame grows at his fingers and darts forward, slamming into the fire and scattering some of the burning pieces. Big 'Un hastily scoots them back together to keep the fire going, a bit overcome by this revelation.

The human tries to lift the chest, but finds it too heavy for his wiry arms to get a good hold on. Slamming his dagger into the top of one of the barrels is likewise dissatisfying.
You call out to Big 'Un, who strides in your general direction. You have to call out to him again for him to home in on you, and soon arrives, ready do deal with some barrels and chests.
Blue returns to report his findings, before joining the others in attempting to open one of the chests. The dagger doesn't seem to do much, the locking mechanism and hinges seemingly proof against the slight prying he's able to do. With enough time, it would probably be possible to chip and carve away enough wood to weaken the chest, but the whole 'big cat prowling about and a fire putting up smoke' doesn't have him in a mood to sit on the beach picking away at it for hours.
Finding a rock, he slams it down on the chest, and is rewarded with a slight crack. The Human comes over to help, trying to hold the chest braced against a larger rock to help you get the best angle to smash it open. ((The Human is giving Blue advantage, so give me another roll, LordShadow))

Very little idea what someone might use them for.
As you work, you begin idly chirping and whistling an intricate tune. It's quite lovely, and puts you a bit more at ease, despite the memory loss, and trauma of being shipwrecked. ((You have a +5 in Performance.))
Mark wanders with you, lost in his own reflections.
Mark looks around, but seems more caught up in his own thoughts than in the debris on the beach. Without hesitation, he grabs hold of a chunk of shattered ship hull, lifts it up, the weight driving his feet down into the sand, before he gives a heave and tosses it to flip over to the side. It's an impressive feat of strength, the section of wrecked ship must have weighed nearly half a ton. With the inside of the hull now revealed, there is a pair of locked footlockers bolted to the hull.
