Constructs and medical staff enter the arena both to stabilize conditions and escorts the defeated to the trauma ward with a backdrop of cheers and applause for having fought valiant against the odds. For their participation and experience garnered in the coliseum, Nock and Eldin receive 4500 xp and 640 gp. Just enough to yet at least allow Nock to advance to the next stage of competition!
The victors are taken below to be patched up and receive their prize on the receding sounds of a crowd's cheers and well wishes. Olly, Sha'kar, and Baral earns 9,000 xp and 1600 gold, and is ready to proceed to the next round as well.
Tier 1:
"Take any one item. We're well equipped." The room contains every item from Chapter 5 of the Player's Handbook weighing 70 pounds or less, armor of varying sizes, instruments, tool kits. There are also spell scrolls, every first level spell is present (as well as spell scrolls of a level for which a magic user of the characters new level would have slots for), and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Reading these books will grant you proficiency with any one tool kit or any one language, depending which book you choose. The books are magically infused to allow easy retention, but the magic is lost once used.
Upper Tier:
The victor may choose instead, an item from a magically infused chest that summons 10 randomly selected magic items to choose from (rarity determined by level). Alternatively they may exchange a magic item for another item of their choosing of the same rarity or lower, if the administrator has the requested item in his extensive collection. "You name it, we've probably got one somewhere."

As a new day rises in Sel'eman, Arena Shapers both construct and not work tirelessly to bring the pits back into their most pristine shape in anticipation of the latest matches to date!
To win: 1... King of the Hill - A single flag (¥) in the center of the map will be available to capture at the end of third round. Remain within 10 feet, while holding your opponents away for 5 rounds to win.
The conditions: 1... Dawn - In the dim early morning light checks relying on sight will suffer disadvantage without the use of Darkvision.
The Map: ..3.... Pit - 'The Pits', a fairly typical fighting ring in a hole in the ground. Its a short 10 foot drop into the pit, and the edges are sloped and course. They would be easy to climb. In the bottom of the pit, the earth is turned up from fighting, yet tufts of grass sprout up here and there, as though it recently had grass all throughout. On either side of the pit is a set of steps. You and your opponent are on opposite ends with wooden walls for cover.
(Jumping (Athletics or Acrobatics) to climb out with a DC of 15 will subtract 5 feet from the climb. On a failure the character can still climb out normally taking 20 feet of movment, but the failed jump will cost an additional 5 feet of movement.)

The Goliath let's out a loud belly laugh, then brings his chin back down in a nod, lowering his stature to get in a stance to run ((entering a frenzied rage, and preparing a dash, starting at A10, prepping to move to B6))

As the contestants enter the arena finishing various preparations, Marmaduke once again flies out to an already excited crowd to announce with a booming voice. "Ladies, Gentlemen, and All things inbetween or beyond! Welcome to the Coliseum!" The crowd's roars and the stomping of many feet echoes throughout the stands. "Alright, alright, alright~ Settle down now! Or maybe not! For it looks like we're back to a One V One again today, as two warriors or pitted against one another! Now allow me to introduce just who they are!"
"Returning once more to bring the dangers of the greatest peaks is none other the foreboding mountain of a being, Ori'ck the Overwhelming!" A massive goliath clad in but simple furs, tattoos, but bearing a golden circlet and maul takes his place ready to rush out into the arena. "And in the other corner we have a favored son of Mouradin with the fighting spirit to prove it, Rothander Fireforge!" A comparatively shorter to the goliath, but no less well-muscled mountain dwarf armored and armed to the brim strides up into full view for the crowd, also looking ready to charge out the gates at a moment's notice.

Ori'ck lets out a bellowing yell as he grips his head. When he takes his hands off of his face he wears an expression twisted with rage ((going into a frenzied rage)). the Goliath reaches into his large quiver, pulling a golden javelin from it, and hurls it at the dwarf ((reckless attacking with the javelin of lightning. 24 to hit doing 7 piercing and 13 lightning damage)) He then lunges down into the pit ((moving to I6))
Ori'ck'spain from the spell only seems to fuel his fury, for he raced forth drawing his enchanted javelin and throws, scoring a nasty hit to the dwarf's shoulder.

Rothander looks at the goliath "Twas a good hit laddy." He feels his Fighting Spirit coursing through his body as he stalks toward the big man stopping at J6. Rothander then swings his mighty axe and then takes a defensive stance calling upon his Dwarven Heritage.

Ori'ck looks at the deep slash, then looks back at the dwarf, with a look that is a strange mixture of vein-pumping rage and mild appreciation. He then rears back with his massive maul, bringing it down in a terrifyingly fast and haphazard manner ((three attacks, all reckless. attack 1: 14 to hit doing 16 bludgeoning, attack 2: 21 to hit doing 17 bludgeoning, attack 3: 22 to hit doing 11 bludgeoning.))
