"And mine name would be Byllemura, Madam Eva. As my friend Thpas just said, we were advised to come and talk to you and that you had important information to share with us." says Byllemura. "Would you be so kind as to enlighten us?" she adds with a warm smile.
"Aack! Don't tell me your names! I wanted to tell you them myself!" She screams. Coming around, she says, "I know everything about all of you. Your past, your present, and perhaps even your future."
Upon her last words, she pulls out a deck of odd cards and shuffles them.
"These Tarokka cards have been passed among us Vistani for generations, though few have the wisdom to use them." With that, she gins a wicked smile. "Proper consultation of the Tarokka deck can reveal the future of all but the consulter."
Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
"That is very interesting," Emre nods respectfully to the ***** woman. "If you like, you can tell me my name—I haven't given it. I promise to be impressed."
Emre waits a beat before smiling and continuing: "Was there something that you wanted to tell us, specifically? We were made to believe that you had information for us."
"Oooo! Guessing names? I'm game! What's mine?" Valanthe says with a big smile. After Erme speaks, she continues, "Oh if Errrrr-, I mean, if she's impressed, I'll definitely be impressed! And those are lovely cards."
Valanthe sits down right in front of Madame Eva waiting expectantly.
Byllemura, with an intent gaze upon the deck of cards, continues: "As a matter of fact, this is indeed intriguing. You have all our attention." as she crouches close to Valanthe, before the red velvet-covered low table.

"Are you sitting on something important, Madame Eva? To give you a little extra height? Or maybe it's keeping your table steady?"
Then looking around at the others... "I'm actually not that good at finding things - always lost at hide-and-go-seek.... maybe one of you should look around."
Thpas takes a peek under the table before following Emre out of the tent. Thpas slowly backs out of the tent , bowing deeply and often as he crosses the threshold.
"Hey listen guys," Emre whispers as soon as they're out of earshot, "I'm thinking maybe we me a mistake coming here. Notice that she said that all adventurers seeking to destroy Strahd have come to her, and also all have failed? I know we haven't slain a whole lot of vampires, but I do recognize a pattern when I see one. If many have tried and failed before, then we shouldn't repeat their mistakes, right? And the one thing we know now is that they all tried is that they came to this woman for advice.
Either that or she's lying. Either way, I don't think we should trust her."
"Hmm... I don't know. I mean this Strahd can make roses bleed, corpses look like Thpas and apparently has sway over this whole land. Maybe he just hasn't yet faced a group strong enough to defeat him - UNTIL US! Besides - we're stuck here right? Didn't someone say that? I could've sworn someone said that, but I can't remember who..."
Then, refocusing after trailing off, "I get you Erme, but sometimes you have to trust even when things look weird - not blindly trust, but we still should see where this river takes us."
Valanthe goes to re-enter the tent, "Besides... she's a GREAT performer - I'm hoping to pick up a few tricks!"
Madam Eva looks angry."Why leave so soon? Is your trust in me failing? I see doubt in your hearts. Perhaps I could demonstrate my power. Emre, you were believed to have committed murderous deeds. But you are innocent. Are you not?" With that, she pulls out a wooden box. In the wooden box is a black silk bundle. In the bundle is the Tarokka deck. "I am here to give advice to those who seek to destroy Strahd. Not to decieve them."
She lays out five cards facedown in a cross position position. Then she flips over the first card:
"This card tells of history. Knowledge of the ancient will help you better understand your enemy. Look to the one who sees all. The treasure is in her camp. I think the treasure is under my very nose!"
She flips over the next card:
"This card tells of a powerful force for good and protection, a holy symbol of great hope. I see a garden dusted with snow, watched over by a scarecrow with a sackcloth grin. Look not to the garden but to the guardian."
She flips over a third card:
"This card is a card of power and strength. It tells of a weapon of vengeance. A sword of sunlight. The treasure lies in a dragon's house, in hands once clean and now corrupted."
She flips over the fourth card:

"This card sheds light on the one who will help you greatly in the battle against darkness. Search for a troubled boy surrounded by wealth and madness. His home is his prison."
She flips over the fifth and final card:
"Your enemy is a creature of darkness, whose powers are beyond mortality. This card will lead you to him! He dwells with the one whose blood sealed his doom, a brother of light snuffed out too soon."
Note: I have these card reading recorded on the main campaign page (go into "My Content" and click "Campaigns", entering CoS and look at the player notes).

"I see only one way to make any sense of it and make sure your reading can actually help us" she continues lost in her thoughts then looking back at Madam Eva, she says with an apologetic tone "No offense intended but we have come to be extremely careful since our arrival here... If I understand correctly something holding ancient knowledge would help us defeat this vampire lord, Strahd, and it could hidden right here, in your camp. Would you mind us searching the area?"
