After a short while, you come to a towering gate. The bars of the gate are rusted and covered in dead vines. The structure is flanked by two massive statues of armored knights, though their heads lie on the ground at their feet. Thirty or so ravens are perched atop the gate.

Valanthe looks at the various ravens perched on the top of the gate to see if any one of those ravens is the raven from earlier... (Perception 6)

The gate is closed. And the path to Vallaki leads through the gate. The ravens are identical.
As Emre steps towards the gate, it creaks open as if moved by invisible hands. With that, the ravens all fly away.
