Kraven takes the lad once again on the ground keeping a watch in front of them and on the ground for anything amiss, every now and then when they get to a large tree he will fly up near the top keeping close to the trunk using the trunk and its branches for cover to take a look around.
You continue following the path, Kraven keeps an eye out and finds little things and points them out as the group gets close, but no traps, or anything for a while, just before dinner time you come to a small clearing. The path continues on the other side of this clearing, to your left is a shrine with old rotting useless gifts that were left there years and years, decades, no centuries ago, these things were left at the altar before anyone alive today was even born. In the center of the shrine, protected by more stone is a stone statue, about 8 or so feet tall, a lizard folk, but one that looks different from any lizard folk any of you might have ever seen. It is a woman, she has 3 head fins, the center one having spikes that come out from it, The shortest being about 6 inches, the longest being closer to 2 feet than one. Even with the crudeness of the stone you can see that who ever made it took time to detail her muscles, she is much stockier than a lizard folk would be, if you were guessing, you would say that this statue is a one to one representation to this lizard folk woman, and if so she most likely weighed over 400 pounds. (keeping in mind that lizard folk range 6-7 feet tall and 200-250 pounds.) She holds a staff in her hands and has wings, WINGS on a lizardfolk. To the right is a water basin, as you entered the clearing a few song birds flew out from where they were taking a bath.
Lastly after taking your first few steps small lizards, geckos and chameleons mostly, none even a foot long. Come and crawl up your leg and are running all over the place. Below is how many Lizards each of you have on you, please make an animal handling check DC 14.
Druquilla and Gintarou these lizards are very distracting to you all ability checks are at disadvantage.
As you are in the clearing you hear a hissing noise, then two more lizards join you all, these ones are 7 feet and 9 feet long. The smaller of the two is a bright red with yellows and oranges, the larger is a dark red, and they have moved into a position to fight and defend eachother, and are at the path out of the clearing. Only Druquilla and Gintarou can make a DC12 animal handeling check, at disadvatage.
(define irony: the only two people trained in AH are the only two to fail the first AH check.)

"Hey look at these little fellows! They are adorable! I used to eat lizards like them for snacks…Oh Crap! What's that!" Gintarou jumps in surprise. He was too focused on how to cook little lizards, and almost didn't notice the approach of big ones.
Animal Handling:14
(This is so hilarious! By the way, does the disadvantage affects Gintarou's attack roll?)
Gintarou you see behind the Lizards a nest with eggs in it, you also notice 4 snakes all bunched up, hissing as well, you the snakes and the Lizards make a triangle, and notice that the positioning of the two Lizards, the male seems to be looking dead at you, and the female is looking at the snakes.
"Everyone don't make a sudden move!" Gintarou says. Before he became an adventurer and before he became a soldier, Gintarou was a wild boy who had spent a half of his life in the mountains. This isn't the first time he encounters wild beasts with children and he knows what to do. The warrior never takes his eyes from the big reptile. Slowly and carefully, he steps back to his friends. "Listen. We have no business with your family." Actually he was thinking how to eat the lizard's relative only a few seconds ago, but Gintarou decides to play innocent this time. "Your wife and babies are in danger. You have no time to waste.Right?"
Kraven I will say you are successful, and a few feet in the air so you are not too high to lose sight of everything.
Gintarou Animal Handling check, at DA because of the small lizards all over you, DC12
(to move things along I will post both success and fail in 2 different spoilers, so that Gintarou can determine what he will do)
Success
Both the lizards move their eyes to the snakes and make a hissing noise. The snakes start to move to the lizards staying somewhat coiled ready to spring.
Fail
The one lizard keeps its eye on the group, hissing at both you and the snakes they start to stomp their front foot, pawing at the ground, seeing how far they can reach with an attack. The snakes start to move to the lizards staying somewhat coiled ready to spring.
The warrior and beast stared at each other for roughly a few seconds then finally the lizard averts it's gaze. Gintarou exhales deeply. "I think it understands me." He wipes sweat from his forehead." Now…I usually don't interact with conflictbetween animals. But here is a temple of lizards. And my country has a lot of folktales about animals returning their favor to humans. So, what should we do now?" Says Gintarou who already takes out his crossbow.

This is not the Giant's Spire, if you look at the map we are South of it at the Blazing Isles.

Kraven squawks loudly and then as he sees the larger ones appear, hopefully removes the 4 lizards on him and gently lays them on the ground.
Then will jump into the air, waiting to see what the others do.

How far away are the snakes and lizards from each other?
Characters currently being ruined on this forum:
Neria Tallfellow (Halfling Rogue) - Curse of the Crimson Throne with Ashen_Age
At this point I would that they you are all about 15-25 feet away from one another.

Kraven takes aim at one of the snakes closest to the Lizards and fires.
