"Gosh," Mist muses. "I do hope there's more o' dem... If that's the biggest challenge we face before killing that Kalvikodas clown, this'll be a walk in the park!"
Glancing around the hall, he calls, "Tukmas, you useless demon, do summat makes you worth keepin' 'round and go check that hall to the right for more dangers."
A low growl emanates from the open air and you hear a *POP* as a tiny imp appears in front of Mist's nose, making him jump back a step. He hovers in the air with arms crossed.
"For the last time, it's 'devil,' you inflated imposter! You're lucky I've put up with you thus far but my patience is wearing thin..."
*POP* and he blinks back out of sight.
Mist chuckles awkwardly, looks around at his companions, and shrugs. "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side o' the abyss, eh?" He clears his throat and falls into an uncomfortable silence as he waits.
How is Varlan using fire bolt an action and attacking 2 times?
(( I was assuming that the skeletons would be visible up to 60' away (maybe) before they came within melee range, so the firebolt was the first volley before they got to the T intersection where everyone was waiting; probably just a bad mental map on my part ))
If the party as a whole is moving in the direction the skeletons came from, Jekob will stay in front to provide cover for the others.

Tuk reports back the information that he sees in the next room, and says it does not look dangorus, you all move down the hall to the opening of the next room.
Ghostly harp music emanates from this darkened chamber. Spectral dancers practice a complex choreography in the center of the room, their ethereal blue forms wavering as they flow around each other. It’s hard to estimate how many there are because they continually fade in and out of sight as they swirl through the room.
The spirits silently invite you to join them, beckoning with ghostly fingers. You join in, and the spirits continue to beckon to stay and dance with them - whispering to you all how beautiful dances will cause the lich to free them all.
How long do you try dancing with them for? Make any check that you wish to
Kuatho finds the dancing very foreign, nothing like what is done with rhythmical movements, dancing movements of the bak-shee, any mating or celebration dances that he knows. He considers the motives of the ghostly ethereal dancers, wonders if they secretly wish them harm, tries to discern their motives and possible danger to the group.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kuatho you can tell that the spectral dancers really do believe that Kalvikodas will let them go if they can please him with their dancing, but you know that this is not true, even if they believe it will. They are honest in that regard, so they are not lying but what they believe to be true is not.
Kraven your dance partner skuffs at you and say "We must do better than this."
Not one for dancing, Varlan stands in the doorway watching the proceedings. If it was some kind of contest like the musical one, then it was one he would certainly lose. Better not to take part. After watching for a time, he moves around the edge of the room trying to glimpse what he can of the other exit.
If he happens to be near Mist he nods in the direction of the other exit. "Perhaps your friend might deign to explore?" A faint smile touches his lips. Those two seem made for each other.
Vlar moves to the side of the chamber and recasts his detect magic spell, letting himself move as if dancing while completing the ritual, but that is the extent of his desire to join in with the aparitions.

Mist giggles like a child as Freb the cloud golem spins him around in the air, dancing above the rest of the group.
At Varlan's beckoning, he remembers himself and clears his throat as Freb lowers them back to the floor.
"Uh, right. Just um... Gettin' a better feel for our environment and whatnot. Freb likes dancin', ya see."
Looking around the chamber again as if it would help him spot the invisible imp, he sharply whispers, "TUK! Get to work ya miserab...... I mean, friend Tukmas...? Would yeh be so kind as to check down yon hall an' see if that's the way we should be headin'? I'd surely appreciate the help."
The faint sound of little wings can be heard fluttering to the exit with a barely audible "Hmph" as Mist rolls his eyes heavily.
"If yis are done dancin' about, I think mayhaps we should press on...? Tuk says there's a ways to go 'fore we get to anything interestin'." Mist offers helpfully as Kuatho and Kraven continue dancing with their intangible terpsichoreans.
Kuatho's head snaps around and his antennae point at Mist. "Quite so. I found this .... entertaining. But we have more pressing matters." he says simply and abandons his odd appearing dance and follows Mist, moving toward the front in scouting position as before.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
So we don't need any more checks you have all figured out that dancing will not help any.
You all start to leave and the 3 spectors that look different on that map snap their heads to the exit. They move at their fullest speeds to Mist, Vlar and Gorvenal and lay a hand on you.
Attack on Mist Attack: 5 Damage: 8
Attack on Vlar Attack: 13 Damage: 11
Attack on Gorvenal Attack: 5 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Those 3 also need to make a DC 10 Con Save or reduce HP max by the damage delt. This reduction lasts until the creature finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
Everyone can take their turns, I will in the AM add your PCs to roll 20, but for the sake of mechanics we can easily say that you are all with in 30 feet and the 3 who were attacked are in Melee.
(OOG the reason I picked the 3 I did is because I would assume they would be in the back.

As the last skeleton falls Varlan turns to the two scouts, "Is the acid passable, or should we retrace the steps of the skeletons?"
He stares dubiously at the acid pools, clearly more inclined to the dryer path.
Kuatho walks forward, turns to the right at the T intersection and starts to look down that path.
